Argumento:

Isa estaba desesperada por encontrar una forma de escapar de la muerte. Se encontró atrapada en un plan para malversar el dinero que ocurría en su trabajo. Cuando ella no quiso aceptarlo, alguien decidió silenciarla permanentemente. Al quedarse sin opciones, llamó a un número en un volante. Pronto se daría cuenta de que sus problemas se agravaban mucho más.

Kyran nunca esperó despertar del sueño criogénico en el que fue colocado. Se despertó con el impacto no solo de tener una pareja, sino también de una cuya vida estaba en peligro. Ahora tenía que lidiar con los hombres que la querían muerta y la amenaza que se avecinaba para toda la humanidad.

Juntos tendrían que luchar contra dos enemigos si querían mantener a salvo a sus seres queridos.





Mí humilde opinión:

Este es el segundo libro de la serie Need a mate y supongo que mejora un poco del primero.

Isa me sacó de quicio muchas veces. Puedes dudar, estar indecisa y asimilando tu fantástica situación pero le tomó una eternidad! puso a Kyran en pausa mucho tiempo para mí gusto. Ella era Caster lo que le daba la habilidad del reflejo, su sombra se desprendía de ella y podía enviarla a vigilar, también podía volar lo que era algo genial.

Kyran tenía hermosas alas y colmillos pensé que era un guerrero fuerte y compresivo con Isa, demasiado, la verdad me gustó. Hasta ahora los héroes alienígenas de la serie pueden ser duros guerreros pero con sus compañeras son un dulce de leche.

Así como Mala y Rykiel tienen a Jax, me encantó que Isa y Kyran adoptarán a Calla. La parte de los niños juntos fue adorable y divertida.

Se está armando una resistencia para defender la tierra. Me encantó cómo se unen todos en la casa de Mal, la amiga de Isa, y que en sus terrenos piensen contruir casas para todos los que luchen con ellos, como una pequeña comunidad.

Ruella y Suella, las gemelas, son dos personajes secundarios que me parecieron divertidas, pero no dice mucho de ellas solo están encargadas de despertar a los guerreros.

Pensamiento aparte...

Al final no había ningún 'rastreador' queriendo destruir el mundo, oh sorpresa sigo sintiéndome confundida. Es un mito o no? A qué mal se están enfrentado todos entonces. Pero al menos tengo más idea de porqué los humanos ascienden y la decisión que deben tomar.

El libro tuvo sus momentos buenos, disfruté del suspenso, la acción y las sorpresas. Voy a continuar con la serie porque sigo intrigada...

I absolutely fell I'm love with Serena Simpson' books from the first one I read. When I read her series on the created, that was when I realized her books had became an addiction. After reading her last series that was phenomenal, I thought...how will she come up with something else? I mean every single book has been incredible. But then in book one, Unwanted Mate, she introduced her readers to Mala, Rykiel and Mala's best friend Isa. And what a fantastic story that was. Now here we are with book two and she introduces us to Kyran, he is Isa's mate if he can break through that strong headed, self defeating personality. Now, if you haven't read book one, STOP. You will not get the full effect nor be able to truly follow the series if you don't. Besides, why wouldn't you? I mean, why take a taste of your of your favorite dessert when you can have a full serving? Right? Okay, so on with book two. Kyran is perfect for Isa, but he needs to get her to believe in herself and her capabilities. She needs to see her inner and outer beauty. She's in a real pickle right now. She is an accountant and she stepped in to help a coworker who had to leave for s personal emergency. It's then that she notices the embezzlement taking place in a company they keep the books for. She goes to her boss and he's a lost cause. Then she starts getting threats etc. Her life has swiftly stepped into a world of evil and she's its target. She doesn't realize how much she needs Kyran, but she's about to. Don't miss another entrancing series from this author.
