I studied economics in college, earning a Masters Degree in that field. I'm been a political/community activist my entire life. I've traveled and done positive work in Africa, Europe, the Caribbean, and throughout this country. I've helped build independent schools and institutions for self-determination. I'm proud of my work and my books are designed to give readers a vision of a better world where women, people of color, LGBTQ folks, and everyone is respected and able to reach their full potential as human beings.

All your study groups and all your social media presence is for nothing if it's not moving workers to action. So simple yet so ignored by the "professional" revolututionaries who write a lot about HOW to move workers but never seem to actually move any workers.

Shit was 🔥. His first 4 chapters go over history but the next three chapters provide a detailed prescription of community defense work along with a concluding chapter on the necessity for scaling up community defense work. Definetly will be introducing it to my org.

very clear, concise, and informative. necessary for our times where fear and apprehension dominate the conversation. should be required reading and recommending it to all my comrades
