Her some unknown drug dealer.
Her crappy.

But this is the trade-off for a quiet life in a small town.

If she wants to make a name for herself, Alexis is going to have to prove her worth without pissing off the vampires. And once she finds her mark, she’ll finish him off… in more ways than one.

It's been a hot minute since I read this, but I still remember how good it was. It's what introduced me to one of the best series ever, after all.

It's different from the main three books. It's a prequel, and shows us how Alexis started out.

Do you need to read this to understand the main series? No. But you SHOULD , because it's great.

It's written so well that it makes you want to read more of the world and go on adventures with the best Succubus Hitwoman. There's details shown that will break your heart that don't fully make it into the books.

Why are you still reading my words when you could go and read Pay-Per-Kill instead? Go get it, and join the heart-full-of-feels club. Okay? Okay.

A very interesting concept that deserves to be read further, too bad it seems the author has disappeared!

I enjoyed it, a good start to the series being a pre-equal it set up the pace and tone for the coming Succubus Hitwoman series.
