Once upon a time, a man and a woman from two feuding villages fell in love. Forbidden to marry, they committed suicide, pledging to marry in the next life. Various disasters began taking place as a result of their unfortunate fates, and the people in the two villages began offering a man and a woman for holy matrimony to comfort the souls of the sad couple. And, thus, they had continued to avoid calamities for generations...
Momoki Shirakawa is told about this unbelievable legend and becomes a bride, expected to marry Chikage Kurotaki from the neighboring village. Both young men give in to their family pressure and have no choice but to start living together despite the awkwardness. Will they never be a match!? Find out in this yaoi about an odd marriage that's sure to end up in divorce... or will it?
Steamy and funny!! I love the rough style of art. The premise and character dynamics are cute. I thought it was going to be a supernatural bl, and it turns out their parents are creating false beliefs to keep the tradition going. It was seriously hot, like, hot hot.
This was adorable. We have an arraigned marriage between two men, for the sake of their towns and families, ok?! They must consummate the marriage for their people! I cackled at the plot and got very invested with the leads. Momoki and Chikage were both precious. We have the classic stoic, grumpy, serious boy and the super sweet and a bit more sunshiney boy.
I really enjoyed how this felt slowburn in the sense of both leads taking things slow while also being so domesticated together in their apartment. Dinner on the table, vaccumming, just cute little chores and helping the other one out.
The epilogue(s) were SO CUTE. I would have taken another epilogue. And another!
5/5. Highlights may contain spoilers. Read at your own risk.

Alright, this is very cute. An old myth says two heads of a village must get married to prevent famine and ruin. Unfortunately there’s no single woman in one of the villages - so it’s a marriage between Momoki and Chikage.
At first they get off the wrong foot, and with a seven year age gap on top of it, they avoid each other. However, they begin to realize they grow sick when apart and it’s revealed that the marriage bestows a curse that if they’re apart, they’ll die. It’s also a push from their families to consummate the marriage to bring blessings to the village.
The conflict comes from the end of this marriage and them parting ways — and surprisingly, a friend interjecting.
Honestly? This was super adorable. Their domesticity and married life once they committed to trying their best was awesome, the art is good, and their exploration around sex was sweet too. I loved it. Chapter 5, 6, and the extras were so good - the tenderness, the love, the chemistry of a married couple. Ahhh!

This was a pretty interesting premise, but also like 80% porn. The set up of the arranged marriage was a cute idea. I liked the chemistry between the 2 characters. There's a reasonable adjustment period at the start that makes sense for 2 guys forced to get married before knowing literally anything about the other. The art is pretty cute.
This leans pretty heavily into the idea of one guy being the "wife" in a way that feels a tad outdated, but I still enjoyed the story overall. I wished for more scenes of them really getting to know each other outside of boning, though.
I liked the plot for this manga, but there was just so much smut that it was overwhelming it. The forced marriage because there is a curse/blessing was intruding, definitely a trope I would like to read again. The story also started off with only mild smut here and there, and then it got out of hand. The sexual moments were also extremely explicit in their erotic depictions compared to other manga I read. The drawings and character design were good. I could clearly differentiate between them.
Una boda el día en que se conocen, muchas cosas pasan, se mudan y conviven. Amé las revelaciones del primer día que se vieron desde la perspectiva de Chikage
I really liked this manga. It was a bit too short wish they add more. There was a really good love story with development. There a bit of slice of life and also some comedy.
Momoki goes back to his hometown at his mother’s behest only to be asked to participate in a ritualistic wedding with someone from the neighboring village. This someone turns out to be a tall, strapping young man called Chikage. They go through the wedding ... only to find out that they’re expected to go through the first night as well, and that includes sexy times.
They’re allowed to go back to their lives in Tokyo on one condition — that they have to Do The Deed at some point. And as part of that they also move in together ... and that’s basically the beginning of the end for Momoki’s heterosexuality.
Spoilers: (as if you haven’t already guessed)
Thoughts
1. I had fun. I enjoyed it! This manga is actually quite funny, and thankfully there were very few frustrating tropes that are common in BL.
2. That said this is so trope-heavy... but so few bl manga are without. Momoki turns into the usual uwu housewifey uke and one side character was like uwu, ... he’s more erotique. LE SIGH. ** But, housewifey Momoki is hilarious because he’s like I WILL TAKE THIS WIFEY THING TO 100%
3. But I did like that Chikage was younger (by 7 years — younger seme is my jam), and also shown in the omake to have been the first one to go, ‘oh no he’s hot.’ The extra from Chikage’s POV is hilar. He goes from ‘I must escape,’ to ‘you know what I’ll hear this out,’ in 0.341928 seconds when he catches sight of Momoki, I loved it. I love secretly devoted semes who are Stunned by their ukes and trying to Conceal it. Seriously, Chikage in that extra is hilarious.
I mean, in genuine conclusion, I had fun and that’s what matters. On the other hand I had fun reading tropey stuff, so that just tells you my taste level.

Actualització: llegida segona part i m'he endut un bon desengany...
Sarebbe adorabile🥺
i know it was to save the village and for plot purposes or whatver but the forceful marriage here kinda irked me (just the way the parents went abt it was annoying that’s all lol) but besides that, it was a decent read! the characters are fun ^^
