HIS FAMILY IS TRYING TO DO THE UNTHINKABLE. WILL HE BE ABLE TO STOP THEM BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE?

TALON:
I’ve fought in the pits of hell for my country. For the freedom of every man, woman, and child. So, you can imagine my surprise when I find out that my family is trying to take away mine. To make me out as some kind of monster that shouldn’t be among society. I won’t let them win. But they’ve found a hole in my armor. They threaten the one woman breaking down my defenses. My family has forgotten a SEAL doesn’t back down from a fight and I will use any tool in my arsenal to protect my little pixie. I will do everything to keep her safe.

PIPER:
My Mama always told me that when I saw my one I would know. And I’m one hundred percent certain that my one is Talon Cross. Now to make him see that is a lot easier said than done. Especially when his family gets involved and I find out the lengths they’ll go to get what they want. Can I convince Talon to give us a chance? Or will I lose him before we ever start?

TRIGGER WARNING:
Honor & Ink contains strong language, hot and steamy sexual scenes that include spanking, and some intense scenes of assault and trauma that may be a trigger for some readers. Please do not read if such things offend you.

I live in New Brunswick, Canada with my husband and our two dogs,
Remi and Sako (pronounced Say-co). When I’m not writing, I’m
playing fetch with the dogs, talking to my parents for endless amounts
of hours, annoying the crap out of my husband, or just enjoying life
with my friends.
Writing has been a part of my life since I was about 12. I started
out just writing short stories or silly knock-offs of my favorite shows
or movies. Soon, though, I realized just how much I loved to write.
How often my mind would wander and think of characters and where
they could go. They became real to me, and I would start to write. I
used to fill up notebooks and pads of paper when I got an idea. It
would be an obsession, almost, to get on paper. Then, when I was old
enough to have a computer, I started there.
Now, I’m 28 years old and I finally hit that button. The one that
I’ve thought about it over and over again for the past 16 years. There is
no greater joy, or fear, at realizing you’ve just accomplished something
that you’ve wanted to do for so very long. That is my greatest accomplishment
and I look forward to hitting that button on many more.

After reading Fire & Ink: Wolf which I really liked I wanted to read the story of Talon and Piper. While I liked this book for the most part some things didn't sit well with me. For example, I thought it was unrealistic the fact that so many things happened in a span of two days time (not everything in this book happened in those two days, just a lot of things).

I really liked the part with the suspense/action and, again, I liked the characters a lot. H is an ex SEAL, who has a soft spot for animals and the h is going after what she wants. What I liked about their relationship is that they made clear what they expect/want from each other after the first time they got together and they sticked to them.

If you want to read it just note that you'll probably have to read the first book before because it won't make sense how they know each other. It was good, even if some things didn't sit well with me. I'm torn between 3 and 4 stars so 3.5 rounded up. 4 ⭐

Talon has wanted Piper since the minute he met her, but his family is trying to gain access to his inherited trust and will go to any length to get it even if it means harming others. There is another Talon has not taken a chance with Piper, he suffers from PTSD and believes Piper is better off without him. What he doesn't plan for though is Piper laying it all out there and not giving up on what she wants and that is Talon. Can he keep her protected when a threat against her becomes very real?

This one is a bit of a heartbreaker at times. Talon carries the weight of the world on his shoulders and although he is surrounded by people who have his back he keeps to himself. Loved Piper and her family is a hoot. Great series.

So we saw the attraction between this couple in the last book, seeing them finally together was great, even if we had to deal with Talon's POS family. I couldn't believe how horrible the family was and just when you thought it couldn't get worse it did! I was a bit stunned when everything came out, but loved that they got just what they deserved!

It was fun to see Piper's family get involved. They seemed like they could give the Lincoln's a run for their money on love and inappropriate family talk, yet it made me love them all the more! I especially loved the ending when everyone, including the MC, were having an afternoon of fun and food at the Lincoln house. Not sure that was wise for the men to let all the women get together and talk, I'm sure they all will be regretting it at some point.

Through everything it was fun to see Talon, once he got his head out of his ass, be with Piper. The two of them were great and they just needed to have faith that things would get taken care of, so that they could live their lives happy, which is how things ended up for them.

What a fantastic story that will keep you on the edge of your seat wanting to laugh, cry, scream, and everything in between. Talon is the perfect retired Navy Seal with the grumpy alpha side while Piper is a free spirited bartender. Talon's family is determined to take Talon's inheritance by any means necessary even if it means hurting the love of his life. However, being a Navy seal and having support from friends he will rely upon his training to protect those he loves most. This book was gripping with suspense that had twists and turns the further you read. The secondary characters were great additions that added an extra level of depth to the storyline that really brought it all together.

💥☠Honor & Ink: Talon☠💥

Talon suffered, he came back from war a damaged soul; he tried living his life and keeping away from the one woman he knew would break him. Piper knew she wanted Talon for herself the minute she saw him, and she was determined to claim Talon as hers. Having finally giving in, outside forces had other plans for them even if it meant death. They've come far and will not let anyone stand in their way; you can see the love with the way they are with each other. it's that deep love☠

I think I felt every emotion imaginable reading this, I was happy, sad, angry and ecstatic.. to name a few.
Also, one thing I was not expecting was how much I laughed throughout this. Raven is honestly, such an amazing character and you see so much more of her personality in this book!
(Also there's another character who I was constantly laughing at, once you read the book you'll see who I'm on about ;)! )

Now on to the main characters... Talon, I mean what can you say about an alpha male, ex SEAL, tattoo artist who volunteers at an animal shelter? Oh, yes that's the word, 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘦𝘤𝘵. Talons story broke my heart quite a few times and honestly I'll struggle to believe anyone can finish this story and not love him.
Then we have Piper. She is one badass, strong and confident woman. She knows what she wants and goes for it. I just loved how strong and supportive Piper was with everything that was going on. They're book couple goals these two!

I've read all of Emily's books that she's released so far. This is by far my favourite.

If you're looking for hot guys, strong women, drama, laughter and some 🔥𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘢𝘯𝘦𝘭𝘺 𝘩𝘰𝘵🔥 sex scenes then this is a must read!

Wow! another fantastic book by Emily that I thoroughly enjoyed reading. This book intertwines characters from Emily’s previous book Fire & Ink as well as bringing in new characters and they all blend fantastic together.
This book takes you through a world of emotions some of my favourite parts are when the character Ollie who is a bird, insults the worker of the animal sanctuary who has eyes for Talon .She is rude to piper but she has her summed up straight away and doesn’t shy away from telling her. Ollies timing is always perfect and never fails to make you howl with laughter.

Talon is a tall handsome ex-Navy Seal who now works at a tattoo shop with his best friend Wolf and Piper is a small blued eyed almost pixie looking woman who works at a bar. They meet with mutual friends and piper having tattoos in the shop. Then Talon design's Pipers' new tattoo and they’re both instantly attracted to each other.

Overall I found this book really good and enjoyed reading every inch of it. It took me through many emotions but fulfiled my every need for the characters.

These two are adorable....

We know them both from book one, Fire and Ink which I highly recommend reading!
Talon was a SEAL and has come home and now works for Wolf at the tattoo shop. He has it tough - no soldier or SEAL ever comes home the same the way they left, and Talon is no different. PTSD is horrendous for anyone who suffers.

Then we have Piper who has decided Talon is her number one - she just needs to make him see it lol.

He's very upfront about the PTSD, nightmares etc which I admired him for. Not many do, it's nothing to be ashamed off but there are some folk who like to tackle it themselves.
Talons not one of them, he's upfront about nightmares, and tells her that sleepovers aren't an option yet.

I love their dynamic and everything seems level - until his family take a step up on the quest to take his money! Yes, Talon is a millionaire but he has no interest in touching the money - but he's definitely not going to let them have it.

Cue the torture!

A hard read at times, sad and emotional as well as downright nasty but it's also sweet, has humour and really likable characters!

OK

The MMC Talon is trying to fight his father and brother who are after his trust fund. He couldn’t care about money but his grandfather left it to him and he knows it was kept away from his greedy family for a reason. The drama and threats they bring make him want to keep himself away from the FMC Piper no matter how much he wants her.

Piper has been longing for Talon from afar for too long, he’s told her why they can’t get together but she also knows he’s trying to deal with so much alone and she refuses to let that happen.

The premise for the book was good, I liked Talon and Piper and could see them well as a couple. My issue with this book was the writing in general. I found it towards the end of book 1 but I wanted to give this a go and it just kind of cemented this isn’t for me.

I am all for fast paced but we were talking about them having been together for 2 days! And acting like it was months. There was too much cringe for me. I’m all for jokes and BDE energy but everyone was just all about the D jokes even her mother.

It just read a little too immature for me and I don’t think it’s my style of reading

I laughed, was angry, and got teary-eyed while reading Talon. This was a fantastic book by Emily Rose and I couldn’t put it down. Plus who doesn’t love a hunky ex-Seal tattoo artist, who has a soft spot for animals? *swoon*

Talon is a broody tattoo artist who has a lot of personal issues and family drama to deal with. When a little pixie comes into his life, he tries to stay away, thinking it’s best. But the harder he tries to put some distance between them, the harder it is to resist.

Piper is a sassy bartender who has been crushing on Talon for awhile. She’s a bada** in her own right and knows what she wants. Letting Talon go is not an option, can she convince him to take a chance?

How could you not love Talon after this and the two of them are perfect for each other. I loved all the support Talon received, especially when he didn’t think he had any. I loved all the characters, especially Raven and I’m looking forward to her story. Can’t wait for the next book in the Inked series to come out!

BD and Tinkerbell V World

Surprising title huh? Well... for those not in the know, BD means... big, well 🍆. If you get that drift.

We enter Honor and Ink who's story is about Talon and Piper. Piper is a pixie type woman who bartends at Ashes and Ember's bar... and Talon works with Wolf at Wolf's tattoo shop.

These two circle each other for about a year (it's explained) before they decide to go on a date. However, it's not long before you get sucked into the drama of Talon's family who are Uber rich and want Talon to give up his money, willingly or otherwise. But despite it all BD and Tinkerbell work through the trauma that Talons family creates while investing in one another.

What I really enjoy about this series is that it sucks you in... and you forget about what brought these characters together in the beginning. At the end, you'll kinda feel like it's been a long time since the beginning as well. And now I'm onwards to Nix and Ash... too-de-looo, readerrrs 🤘🏽

This book is FIRE ! Emily Rose is back in force with book 2 of this series. We rediscover everything we loved in the first book. The characters we love, the breathtaking plot, the attraction between the two main characters. Everything is there.

Piper is a woman with a lot of guts, despite being petite she does not let herself be fooled. She knows what she wants, and she go for it ... and she wants Talon ! Let me tell you that Talon won't be able to resist her very long.

Talon is learning to live with PTSD after returning from the military. He's not ready to let anyone in his life, but a little pixie makes his head spin. Despite some effort to resist her … he will not be able to resist the temptation.

I just loved how strong and supportive Piper and Talon are for each other. The tension, the attraction and the chemistry between them is just explosive. Seriously girls, these two are the example of the perfect couple.

“He’s going to learn that I’m pretty determined when I want something. And I want Talon Cross more than I’ve ever wanted any other man in my life.”

Taylor and Piper’s story is action packed! So action packed that once again I just couldn’t put it down. These books flow so smoothly and I finished this one in a day as well! Talon is a Navy veteran who struggles with his past and his family of assholes. He doesn’t wanna drag anyone into his mess of a life. Yet, here comes Piper and she knows what she wants. Him. They go through a lot together, but it only brings them closer. Their story is beautifully written and amazingly addicting. I’m really looking forward to jumping straight into Ash and Nix’s story next! 💜

This story y’all!!!!

This story is for sure to take you on a rollercoaster of emotions.
I thought Wolf & Ember (Fire & Ink: Wolf) were dynamite together but oh my ghosh....... Talon and Piper!!! 🥵🔥🔥

And what is wrong with this H families? I mean, first Wolf’s (which I thought there couldn’t be anyone more worse then them) and now Talon’s? I would not have been upset if the author accidentally made some of this characters disappeared! 😏

Cannot wait for Nix & Ash’s story. And then Raven’s story?!!! 🤔
And can we please have stories for Sloan, Maverick, Asa, Brady, and Carter?! Maybe some spin-off stories?!!😜

Ok, so we all know that it’s the second book in a series that can make or break it right? Like, the first book is good and has potential- but the second one suddenly stinks and your all sad because it ruins the series? That is NOT the case here! This book is spectacular! I honestly was sucked in and couldn’t let it go! It’s, funny, serious, sad, and everything in between!

I want to be a part of this girl gang that has been created, and That scene in the hospital- OH MY GOD! I spit my drink out laughing so hard!

I am so freaking excited for Ravens book- she is hysterical! On to Nix! I can’t wait!!!

Talon and Piper. As with the others in this series, including the continuation with the MC, it was cute. But, it had pretty much the same story line as the first book. This time however, I dont think Talon and Piper had an emotional connection. He had a BD, she wanted his BD. Period. The bad guys were stupid, the torture scene unnecessary, and as with the first, I don't understand why he bothered messing with his family. The day he hit 30, the money should have disappeared and there wouldn't have been any problems. Didn't care for it at all. Will probably read the others just to finish the series, but doubt there will be much change in plot.

Another great book by Emily Rose. I thoroughly enjoyed watching Talon and Piper come together. Talon's family got some of what they deserved and Piper's family were so supportive of everything that happened even though they didn't have to be. It was great to see all the side characters from the first book, along with the MC guys. I also enjoyed the two chapters that were from the perspective of Shadow and Bullet---makes me want to start their series after I finish this one. The plot was fast paced, however I think the ending was a bit rushed, and I would have like a few more chapters of just Talon and Piper together. I'm on to the next in the series.

Can I please have my own Talon!! He is so strong and sexy. Where Wolf was sweet and calm and playful, his best friend Talon is reserved and angry and hesitant. One of my favorite parts is when we get to see Talon finally lighten up and interact with Piper's family. The relationship between Talon and Piper is fast paced and strained in the beginning but the author does such a good job of bringing them together.
I also love that we got to see more of the MC and some of its members. And im hoping in future books to see more of the Lincoln family, who I just love!!

Talon and Piper

Awesome story but Talon has some despicable and greedy family members. He and Piper make a great couple and I also love how club members and her family interacted together and the club guys were great in rescuing Talon from that maniac doctor, especially Shadow. Piper's family are a hoot and her mama is like Rose and not someone you want to piss off. Happy reading.

This book was all sorts of messed up! I thought Wolf's family was bad, but they've got nothing on Talons. Good lord! They are absolutely insane. And I love their karma. It was amazing!! Talon and Piper are perfect for each other. I love how close Bullet and the other MCs got to the group from the tattoo shop. They are all super protective of their women in their group! I love Piper's family. They are awesome.

I loved this book.

I think I have found myself a new author who I love. The stories in the last two books have the perfect balance of smutty scenes and actual plot.

I also love how you are not only getting dual POV (which is my fav) but you’ll get a random chapter from a side character to give another view on situations

I cannot wait to finish this series to see what other books I can read from this author.

Still love this series

This author keeps getting better. Wolf and Ember’s book was good and laid the foundation for Talon and Piper’s story, which was so much more than I’d expected! New characters, more time with the MC, Ollie...I see so much potential for more of this series or others and can’t wait to see what comes next.

One amazing Read

Absolutely loved book 2 of this series. Can’t get enough of Talon and Piper. This book had some twists and turns, some great action and some amazingly steamy sex scenes!! Loved meeting Pipers family and continuing to see the crew from the Tattoo Parlor, the Bar and the MC. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series!!!

Family is what you make it to be.

Talon is a good guy who came from some ridiculously greedy people. As a retired SEAL, he has seen some nasty stuff.

Piper wanted a tattoo and knew the best place to get one. One look at Talon and she wanted him.

Family wanting money, family wanting love. Both will battle it all out.

Who will win?

Two very different families

Talon has a horribly greedy selfish family. Piper has a loving and supportive family. Talon's family had put things in motion (no spoilers) that puts everyone in danger especially Talon and Piper. I adore Bullet, Rose and their MC members. The Lincoln family is great to have as an ally.

Talon and Pipers story

This book is amazing! I loved the attraction between this couple. Talon and Piper are perfect for each other. The shit they have to go through to be together only makes their relationship stronger. His family is a freaking piece of work. They get what they deserve. And hopefully more. Looking forward to reading the next book.
