It was meh
Make no mistake, there were some good stories in this collection. Some of them, I really enjoyed. There were some good messages even about being transgender and the grass not always being greener than the other side. The reason for the 3 stars though, are simply because some of the main outlines for each story are recycled in some way. Granted, they’re still original, yet very predictable. Admittedly, as a whole, it was quite a long read. The stories ranged from pretty good to just meh. Transgender erotica isn’t really my go-to anyway, it was just out of curiosity.
That said, Nikki’s a good writer. I usually enjoy her work. With this though, it was hit or miss. If you like her work, I think you’ll enjoy this. It wasn’t bad, just wasn’t really my thing that’s all.
