Argumento:

Cuando Pixie Wells solicitó el programa de estudios en el extranjero, esperaba estar haciendo un trabajo de campo excavando una antigua aldea vikinga en Dinamarca. Lo que no esperaba era encontrarse con un vikingo real decidido a hacerla perder la cabeza.

Una empollona dedicada a la historia y alhelí permanente, se ha hecho un hábito al evitar el riesgo, y Rome Madsen, alto, ancho y mortalmente hermoso, es riesgo con una R mayúscula.

Esta es una lectura rápida y entretenida con ardiente pasión vikinga!

Me gustó el tema de los vikingos y la realeza de Dinamarca aunque no tocó profundamente esos temas sino en la conexión romántica entre Pixie y Rome. Pero me hubiera gustado más detalle en la historia y los personajes porque era interesante la trama. Quería ver cómo Pixie se adaptaba al mundo de Rome.

Entiendo que es una historia corta pero sentí que todo sucedía demasiado rápido luego de tres meses de separación.

Pixie y Rome eran una pareja sexy y adorable. Me gustó cómo se conocieron y su química. Disfruté viendo a Rome dedicado a Pixie, a no rendirse con ella y a Pixie haciéndolo trabajar para conquistarla... Lo que fue fácil cuando este vikingo era tan sexy y tenía las más calientes y dulces palabras.

Me gustó la abuela casamentera con sus hierbas mágicas y predicciones, fue divertida.

Los epílogos fueron ADORABLES!

This is a cute, short insta-love romance with a quirky heroine, an alpha possessive hero and a lot of silly banter and cheesy one liners. It’s 100% safe, has low drama and sets a quick pace for the MCs to meet, fall into lust/love pretty much at first sight and realize their perfect for each other 😊

American girl, Pixie is on the trip of a lifetime, immersing herself in the Danish culture and studying her one true passion, Vikings! She was envisioning intriguing dig sights and old artifacts, not a living, breathing modern day Viking but that's just what she gets when she bumps into Rome.

Rome has lived his whole life in the spot light and finds it refreshing that Pixie has no idea who he is. Their instant connection and explosive chemistry is as genuine as it gets and Rome finds himself addicted to the easy going vibes he feels when Pixie is in his arms.

One night just fuels his need for her, but Pixie isn’t here to have a fling, she’s here to study and not get swept off her feet by a man! But the bun in her oven will make going back to normal, just a tad bid difficult.

When Rome finally tracks down his girl and gets the surprise of a lifetime, he is more determined than ever to convince Pixie to give them a shot!

I'm always down when it came to secret baby romance. This one was one fast pace royalty-secret-baby romance. A charming prince fell in love at the 1st sight with one history major student. One silver lining between those two was their fascination of Viking history.

This OTT instalove story was short straightforward and, unfortunately, quite typical. You kinda easily guessed what happened next. But somehow this type of light predictable romance was something that actually you longed for from time to time. Easy to digest, enjoyable, and then again predictable. Not much drama, no violence.

“Eyes shuddering as I breathe her in”, is a line in this book that I simply could not get past. Wth does shuddering eyes have to do with breathing, but mostly how do eyes shudder exactly???

This book was a mess as far as I’m concerned. It has one of my favorite genres (secret baby) but then makes it unappealing by having the FMC not actively try to tell the MMC about it all because she was scared of losing her scholarship/job. That made her unforgivable in my (shuddering) eyes. Besides that she ran off from the MMC for same said job without giving him a chance all because of this scholarship that I felt could have warranted a conversation about BEFORE making such a rash decision.

As for the MMC, he was too sweet. He was all star struck and smooth and so unreal that I couldn’t “see/feel” him in my head as I was reading. The whole interactions between them were so ridiculously contrived that I just couldn’t get into this story. With no saving grace in the form of banter or humor, it’s just really lackluster.

Lastly, too often I couldn’t tell who was talking or thinking in the writing. It was so fast paced that it was almost vague in how quick everything was happening including thoughts and dialogue. This book was a disappointment. I’m glad I wasn’t more invested in its potential or I would be really annoyed right now. I would give this book a pass if I could go back in time.

Finding her own Viking

Secret Heir is a sweet, fun and sexy short story about Pixie Wells and Rome Madsen. She is an American student who has traveled to Denmark to help with the archeological dig of an ancient Viking village. Sure have dreams of Vikings is fun but when she meets a living one.....well holy hotness!!! Rome is a tall, handsome, built and super sexy Dane who is instantly drawn to the young American when they meet. He likes that fact that she does not know who he actually is. They end up spending one amazing night together and it is not until later that Pixie learns she has a souvenir of their night together. In the meantime Rome is on the hunt for the woman he cannot forget as when he finally finds her she not going to slip away from him again.
This was an enjoyable read with a fun take on the secret baby trope. I liked both Pixie and Rome and together they have sizzling chemistry....and a lot of it.

A really good book. I loved the modern viking vibe. I was hooked from their first meeting, when their eyes caught from across the room.
I liked that the male character knew what he wanted straight away, no messing about and he set out to do it. The female character came across as slightly naive to her surroundings but as the story went on her character grew more confident. The story kept you engrossed as you wanted to see what happened next and how everything would work out. Although I felt that the male character was the more invested half of the relationship as he was determined all the way through and never once did he waver from her where as she seemed to be okay moving on and carrying on without him until he finds her again. The ending was good too and I liked that it rounded everything off quite nicely and you got that satisfying ending.

Pixie is studying abroad for the first time and she meets Rome. They have an instant connection so he gives her his card with his information on it to call him. When she's leaving the event she goes to fall and Rome is nearby and saves her. He ends up taking her home with him to make sure she's okay and things heat up between them. However the next morning she is gone and when the investigators he hires can't find her Rome wonders if he will ever find his pixie again. Will Rome find Pixie again before its too late? Can they be together with how different they are?

This is an amazing story that once I started it I couldn't put it down. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

I really liked this short story. It was entertaining and enjoyable. The characters were interesting and likable. There isn't a lot of drama/angst in this story although there is a short separation of the couple. Pixie and Rome were instantly drawn to each other. Pixie attempted to ignore it but it was too much. Rome wasn't ignoring anything, he was all about getting to know Pixie better. The two of them are meant for each other but Pixie is in the country for a reason so she leaves Rome for her schooling. I did get annoyed with Pixie for keeping her secret from Rome but Rome had a secret too and his definitely beat hers. There are steamy scenes and instalove/lust. This was a fun read. I loved their happy ever after and I recommend reading this book.

What a lovely book this was to read. Love at first sight, Prince Vikings and Witches? You really dont want to miss out on this it really is a great story to read.
Its Pixies first time out of America, and shes in Copenhagen at the Royal Academy when she first sets eyes on a gorgeous man named Rome. As things happen she ends up in his arms and in his bed. Three months later Rome is still looking for her, when he finally spots her on facebook, he cant wait to get to her. But what will happen when he finds out that Pixie is three months pregant with his baby?

I genuinely think that the author should be ashamed of writing a book about something she obviously knows nothing about, and then choosing to do absolutely no research. Even something as simple as names are completely butchered.

Also, beside the total lack of understanding of Denmark, and the workings of royalty, it's also just plain stupid. Despite allegedly hiring the best PI in Denmark, it is the prince himself, after three months of looking for Pixie, that comes up with the brilliant idea of looking her up on social media.

Loved the book it was great, the story was written well and the characters were interesting. Pixie is studying in Denmark, comes across a Viking named Rome instantly fell for each other. They ended up sleeping together and now she is in a predicament. This is a sweet, steamy, short story with some secret and a happily ever after.

It’s amazing how you just met someone in a new and strange country and you are jumping in bed with them without thought of protection. Are girls (young women) really that naive now a days? Rome and Pixie hot love story love or lust at first sight. Still didn’t really understand the history around Rome being a Crown Prince. Hopefully in the next book it will make more sense.

Pixie and Rome were adorable together. Rome was all in and Pixie definitely made him work for it. I'm so glad he didn't give up. Once they got over everything they were perfect. I really loved Granny, she was funny and sweet.

This was such a good read! Rome and Pixie were so flipping adorable, I read this in one sitting. I loved their chemistry and banter. They made such an interesting pair, her the innocent American and him the older Royal. Pure heat and attraction, I loved the Viking backdrop and stories. Fantastic read!

Read Aria Coles book!!!!!!

I would recommend this book to readers who want a fast paces love with the characters and a strong female character who also likes her independence. I chose the five stars because the author of the book wrote the scene about where they were that it pulls you in and it feels like your in the town.

O what a great read i loved everything about this book. The author has done a fab job. The characters were so easy to follow as well as the storyline and there connection was immense. I adored Romes granny.
