This book has five 19th century Russian short stories and five Soviet Russian short stories, translated by K G Karunathilaka. Yet another masterpiece by the great man. Love the art work of the cover, I think it gives the book a unique personality. Once again, a top notch translation with beautiful language which is Karunatilaka's specialty. On par with his books like"Haaduwa" and "Lili Mal Thune Awanhaledi". It's a trip to old Russia you'd never forget!
