He’ll wipe out my debt if I play house with him? Seriously? The hottest guy I’ve seen in forever is giving me an offer I can’t refuse. No really, I can’t refuse it because I slammed my Kia into his Lamborghini and now I’m in deep sh*t. Apparently, his mother is on his back about settling down, and he thinks I’m just the girl for the job. I can’t say I’m not intrigued about how far this might go. He’s got another thing coming if he thinks I’m sleeping with him. I’m not that type of girl. Not yet at least. Unfortunately for me, he’s president of the alphahole billionaire club. I mean, he would be if there was one. It’s just a few months, and besides, I could use a break from my grocery-store job to taste the life of the rich and famous. Even though he’s the worst thing that ever happened to me, he’s growing on me—fast. So I’ll be his fake fiancée and give him a run for his money. This boy’s going to pay up, hot stuff.
Have we met? No? Well it's time to end that tragedy.
I'm a former firefighter/EMS guy who's picked up the proverbial pen and started writing bad boy romance stories. I co-write with my sister, Ali Parker, but live in Texas with my wife, my two little boys, my daughter, two dogs, three cats, and a turtle.
Yep. A turtle. You read that right. Don't be jealous.
You're going to find Billionaires, Bad Boys, Military Guys and loads of sexiness.
Something for everyone, hopefully. I'd love to connect with you. Check out the links below and come find me.
Another win for Weston Parker! He hits it out of the ball park with this fantastic story. He pulled me in right from the start and had me glued to the pages right to the end with all the twists and turns as well as the emotional ride he takes them on. The chemistry between Paislee and Jameson is sizzling hot and the scenes are smokin. I loved reading their story and would highly recommend this book.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
Loved this fake fiancée romance. Paislee and Jameson were so good together. They met when she rear-ended him at a red light and there was something about her that pulled him in. He stayed with her at the hospital and thus began the start of a business proposition that would be beneficial for them both. His family leaves him alone about getting married and she can become debt free. However, the more they are together the more the fake relationship starts to become real. Will they be able to keep it strictly business or will it will become something much more? This story will pull you in from page one and have you rooting for the characters to get the HEA they both richly deserve. Great story and can’t wait to read more from this author.
Fate brings Jameson Harrow and Paislee Jolly together when she rams her Kia into his expensive car. He has no time for women, love or marriage but he has an overbearing mother breathing down his neck. Wow, She might be the perfect solution to get his mother off his back. How about being his fake fiancee in exchange for wiping out her debt. What could go wrong? She's an orphan who's always worked hard and did I say she's a virgin? Jay, well let's just say he always had a silver spoon in his mouth and did not want to be tied down. What about this fake relationship? Did fake become real? Was Paislee the one who finally captured his heart? This was a cute book with some interesting secondary character. Well written with some twists. As usual, Weston Parker doesn't disappoint. I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author and voluntarily chose to review it.
I liked it because it was funny but the fake NYC references 😳
Why do people write books about NYC when they know nothing about the city?
1. Parking in NYC cost more than rent and it’s impossible to first street parking. It can take hours to find parking in most parts of the city. 2. Most people take the subways because traffic is so bad. The buses, trains, and taxis would talk forever. No way a cashier could afford that. 3. NYC grocery stores in that area don’t have parking lots. Parking lots are not free. There’s no free parking lots on the Island of Manhattan that most people refer to as New York City. 4. Chances of having an accident that bad is low because there’s so much traffic. How can you total a car going 10 miles and hour max.
When they’re good, they’re sunshine and roses. When they’re bad, it’s nuclear winter. Jameson and Paislee have one of the most unlikely meet-cute encounters I’ve ever seen. I’m not even entirely sure I’d call it “cute”, for that matter. Their chemistry crackles off the page, for both good and ill. It occasionally left me feeling like I’d been sideswiped by a large truck, because I couldn’t always easily identify what had set off a change in mood. I loved seeing the growth in this pair as their story progressed, and there are some secondary characters that I’m hoping we’ll get to see more of in the future (with books of their own, maybe). I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.
Jameson driving down the street in his Lamborghini, gets hit by Kia driven by Paislee when she runs a red light. She took her eyes off the road to grab her sandwich and totalled out her car. She ends up with a cut on her forehead and a concussion. She wakes up in the hospital and Jameson is there with her. The Doctor won't release her because she has the concussion. She doesn't have a family to go too. She is an orphan and her best friend is out of town. Jameson offers to take her home and watch over her for the next 24 hours. She doesn't have any money to pay for the damages to his car or the hospital bill. Jameson gives her a proposal to be his fake fiancee for three months so his mother gets off his butt and stops setting him up with her friends daughters. Paislee has to think about but finally agrees because she can't afford to pay seventy thousand dollars to repair the Lamborghini. She told him up front she will be his fake fiancee but no sex. She is still a virgin and saving her self for her future husband. . Many funny and infuriating times for the two of them. He has no intention of falling in love with Paislee but not knowing he is. He's never been in love or in a relationship before. He doesn't know how to go about it. Paislee doesn't want a broken heart. Great story of two opposites in life can fall in love. Another great story by Weston Parker. Never disappointed with his books. Great job.
Each new book Weston Parker releases becomes my new favorite and this one is no exception. Not only is this a fake fiancee romance, this is also a polar opposites attract romance, because Jay and Paislee couldn't be any more different, especially their respective lifestyles and backgrounds. Despite their crash meeting (literally lol). I liked that even though Jay is all kabillionaire extraordinaire, he stayed with Paislee then invited her to stay with him when it became known that she didn't have anyone to stay with her; although on the flip side, not exactly the safest choice to stay with a stranger.
I liked the character development we get with both Jay and Paislee; she's got a good heart but her life hasn't been easy and she seems to have more than her fair share of struggles, but she manages to make it through each day. As for Jay, he's all smartly brilliant when it comes to business, but seems to be clueless when it comes to his personal life. Sometimes I got the urge to shake some sense into him. But the more time they spend with each other, the more it becomes obvious that they really are good for each other as they seem to bring out the best in the other and we seem the changes they go through as they really find themselves.
i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the story of Jameson and Paislee. They met when Paislee ran a red light and smashed into Jay's car. Paislee couldn't afford the bills to fix the car, or pay for her medical bulls, so Jay decided to offer her a way out of them. Jay wanted Paislee to pretend to be his fiancee so his mother would stop hounding him to settle down and get married. Paislee knew she had no choice, she she agreed. Jay was very wealthy and his family owned a number of hotels around the world. Paislee had to travel with Jay for an opening of a new hotel and they grew closer. Paislee had made the deal with the understanding there would be no sex between them, but Jay wanted Paislee and she was having a hard time resisting him. I really liked this book. Jay was arrogant, but i liked him. He rarely heard the word no and he didn't know how to handle Paislee and how she was not interested in him. I think she changed him and made him think about more than himself. Another great one from Weston.
I like Weston Parker, especially his tag line, every good girl deserves a bad boy. Which is basically every book he writes (as far as I know anyways). Fun for a while, but the same formula gets tired quickly.
Poor girl Paislee gets in a car accident with rich playboy billionaire Jameson, she can't afford to make repairs to his car, billionaire decides he's going to pay them himself, plus her hospital stay IF she agrees to be his fake fiancee for a while. Seems Jameson's mother wants grandchildren, you see, and he needs someone to help get his mom off his back. Enter Paislee.
I remember when the heroes were just paltry millionaires. Now everyone's a billionaire. Inflation at work. But I digress...
It's an okay book. There really isn't anything wrong with it, I think I'm just getting too cynical in my old age. Not only are all these billionaires sexy AF, gruff exteriors, but soft hearts. And they're excellent lovers. Why can't I meet a guy like that? Oh yeah, because they are all a work of fiction.
Paislee is a rare gem with hidden creative talents raised in an orphanage. Jay, the CEO of the world’s most luxurious hotel line. Jay needs his mother off his back for a few months about getting married. Paislee wrecked Jays Lamborghini and can’t pay for it.
The main characters in this story are so opposite they really create that forbidden vibe and it works. They are not only opposites in relationships and matters of the heart, but in character and Jay doesn’t realize how callously selfish he is until Paislee enters his life - not because of what she says to him, but because everyone around him that tolerated his behavior won’t tolerate him hurting Paislee.
When these two finally get together, we are all more than ready for it, and the event that inspires their first steamy encounter is very satisfying and pivotal in the book.
It’s a good book all around, even at 3:30AM when I couldn’t put it down until I finished it.
Pay Up Hot Stuff: A Billionaire Fake Fiancee Romance
Jay and Paislee meet when she crashes her Kia into the back of his Lamborghini. She is hurt and taken to the hospital where she has a concussion. Jay goes with her to the hospital and he tells the doctor she can stay with him because she has to be watched for 24 hours. Paislee is a poor hard working cashier in a grocery store. Jay is a billionaire who runs many hotels and resorts. He is taken with her and he makes her a proposition that if she becomes his fake fiancee he will not report the accident and will pay her large hospital bill. First she refuses because she thinks he is crazy. He explains that she would be helping him to stop his mother from setting him up with all these women. She wants him to settle down and get married. Paislee is talked into doing it because she has no other options.
I really enjoyed Jay (Jameson) and Paislee's story. While their first meeting wasn't under good circumstances (she ran a red light and ran into his Lamborghini totaling her Kia). There was just something about her that had him sticking around and wanting to take care of her. What started out as sweet turned into a not so great idea, but one she felt she had no choice but to follow along. Quite the rollercoaster ride for these two and lots of sparks... and not always in a good way. Love how she called him out on his crap. and he was forced to face reality when his trusted assistant, Ashton, called him out, as well. Like the little side-romance as well. Well done, Weston Parker... another hit to add to your list.
Weston Parker will take readers on an emotional rollercoaster with his new novel Pay Up Hot Stuff. For me Jay is the quintessential billionaire playboy and that character readers love to hate until he he changes his whole perspective and becomes better. Paislee is innocent to the core and has no idea how to navigate a world of pretend or real relationships. Together they must learn to communicate and lean on each other. This is a well written humorous, compelling, and passionate story with awesome secondary characters -Ashton and Bella- who ground the primary characters with wisdom and attitude, and unexpected twists. I love this new novel from Weston Parker and can’t wait to read his next release. “I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this novel.”
Paislee has had it hard for her entire life. Orphaned at two and raised in an orphanage, she’s barely keeping her head above water. On her way home after a double shift, she totals her car when she hits a Lamborghini. Not only does she now have a huge hospital bill, but she has an even larger repair bill for the Lamborghini. What will she do?
Jameson is tired of his mother’s constant complaint of him not being married and giving her grandbabies. What can he do to get her off his back? Then he gets hit on his way home. Seems the other driver is too broke to pay for his repairs or her medical bills. This gives him an idea. Is she willing to trade her bills for being his fake fiancé?
She's poor and accidentally crashes her car into his Lamborghini, he runs the family's luxury hotel business, when they have their accident she hits her head hard enough to get a concussion her roommate is out of town on business, so he volunteers to let her stay at his place, and he wakes her every two hours like the doctor told him. He knows she can't afford to fix his car, and her hospital bills, so he tells her he wants her to be his fake fiance for three months to get his mother off his back to settle down. I would recommend this book for mature readers (sexual content) that enjoy stories that are funny, steamy, and romantic with a happily ever after.
Paislee, a grocery store worker, hits Jameson, CEO of a luxury hotel chain, on her way home from work damaging his car and herself. As the story progresses a solution is offered, a line is crossed, and if bad behavior persists her car will not be the only thing wrecked. Weston Parker keeps the feels at maximum on this romance journey. Paislee and Jay are so cute together, Bella and Ashton provide the necessary yin to their yang, and I would love to see Julia in a future book.
I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.
Yeah, billionaire alpha men who do what it takes to get what they want, without caring about how it impacts others seems to be a trope I enjoy. I guess it’s because I enjoy reading about how they get hung up in the woman involved and don’t realize it. In this story, Jameson is the billionaire and Paislee is the woman. She’s poor as dirt, but feisty and more than a match for Jay. I enjoyed the dynamic between them, her friendship with Bella, and his relationship with Ashton. Jay is pretty much alone with no friends due to how much he works and he’s not the best with personal social skills. I’m glad he was able to figure it out in the end for his sake.
An accidental meeting.. Jay and Paislee meet over very unfortunate circumstances. He wants to strike a deal with her; she relunctantly agrees to it. Ensues all sorts of situations that will lead to a sweet HEA.
Easy flowing read with strong characters that have a slow building chemistry. Throw in his meddling mom, drama, a bit of steam, a roller coaster ride of emotions and you'll get this great story that I enjoyed and recommend.
I received an ARC from the author and I'm reviewing it honestly.
Absolutely loved this book!!!! 50 Well reads Stars!!
I know 5 Stars is the max but this book deserves more. I enjoy books that make me laugh out loud or cry. This one had me laughing. Knowing Paislee was an orphan was sad but she grew up well. Jay certainly was a hard worker but that was his life, until Paislee. Gosh, the ups and downs in their lives was something. You'll have to read it to understand. By the way, team Ashton and Bella too they were great! Written by Cindy :)
Pay Up Hot Stuff by Weston Parker is another must read! Not usual fake fiancé sl! Billionaire car is hit by poor hand to mouth grocery store cashier. Typical arrogant billionaire who doesn’t get what regular people struggle with. His lack of awareness slowly changes over time with the help of a good woman. I couldn’t put down. A strong woman. *I was given a copy and am voluntarily giving my honest review.
Oh I just loved Jameson and Paislee story!! The way they met her running at red light and he went with her to the hospital and stayed with her!! The deal he made with her and right from the first moment you knew it was more than just a deal!! It will warm your heart but sometimes your not sure you want to laugh or just yell at them!! I would recommend this book to everyone!!
OMG! I LOVED this story. Paisley is a wonderful, character with so many surprise talents. She was an orphan raised by Nuns and remains an innocent, lovely, multi talented lady. Jameson (Jay) however is a powerful focused workaholic who runs the family luxury hotels and resorts dynasty. This story is filled with great characters and keeps a steady pace. Weston did a super fantastic job on this story. Linda
Paislee hits rich dude car. Jay rich and all together self center not so bad helps Paislee out. Jay thinking to help Paislee in paying back his for damages to his lambo and help pay her hospital bill she can play his fake fiancee. Great plan for him to get his mother off his back and throwing other women at him. But the joke is in him, finding feeling for Paislee.
Paislee accidentally runs a stop sign and plows into the back of Jameson aka Jay's Lamborghini. Her Kia was totalled and his car was quite damaged. Jay convinced Paislee to pretend to be his fiancee for 3 months to get his mom off his back. He agrees to pay Paislee's medical bills and not charge her for Lamborghini damage. Now they must learn to get along. Very enjoyable and hot.
I usually enjoy the Parker-created adventures, but this one fell flat for me. Short, awkward sentences, disconnected characters. Little effort at emotion or feelings. At 34% in, I still didn't have any interest in H or h. Had just finished another story with the same premise that was so much better, maybe that's why this one didn't work for me.
This is the story of Jameson and Paislee. He's the Billionaire and she's not. They meet in a very unexpected way and then Jameson comes up with a strange contract negotiation for her to think about. I really enjoyed this book. Weston came up with some really new ideas on how to approach an often told storyline. Another hit on your hands Weston.
Paislee and Jameson met when she ran into his car. Not just a car mind you but his Lamborghini. Needless to say, she works at a grocery store so paying off her debt is going to be impossible. Or isn’t it? He needs to appease his mother and she needs to find a way to pay him so why not just pretend to be his fiancée. In these situations, you should always expect the unexpected.
Your typical rich selfish, self-centered jerk that doesn't care how he treats people as long as he gets what he wants. He comes across a sweet naive innocent and pretty much blackmailed her to join in his scheme. Only she has some fire in her and isn't taking his crap.
