A wonderful beginning!

This novella is a wonderful start to what I can already see will be a good series!

Full of heart wrenching emotions, hope and magic this prequel leaves little to be desired. It gives us a glimpse into the life of the survivor Morgan and her journey to returning to her true form Morrigan.

A quick read and a must read for anyone interested in mythical stories. Very much enjoyed and highly recommended. I cannot wait to see where this series takes us!

This is great! The author really got into the main character's head -- an angry orphan with supernatural abilities. There's a lot of layers and emotion. I found the climax/ending that gets a bit more into the fantasy side of things to be a bit fast paced, but since this is a prequel, I'm now just eager to read more!

I’m always eager to read any story about the Tuatha De Danann, and this didn’t disappoint. The depth of feeling in such a short story blew me away. I’m very interested to see where Morgan’s story is headed and see the other characters be fleshed out further.
