While searching for his son, he finds something he never expected: a woman to love.

If only she didn’t hate him...

Clan MacCoinnich is the only family Magnus de Gray has ever known. But when a message catches up with him five years too late, he discovers he has more family than he thought. He has a son. But the dear lady who gave him this gift died while bringing the wee one into the world. Magnus isn’t about to abandon his child—not the way his father abandoned him. He’s determined to find the boy and bring him home to Clan MacCoinnich.

Brenna Maxwell loved her sister Bree with all her heart, but if she could reach beyond the grave, she would shake her until her teeth rattled. All Brenna ever wanted was to be a healer and even convinced her cruel father to let her leave the keep for training. She returned to find her unmarried sister pregnant and both of them banished from the clan. While on the run, her sister died bringing the babe into the world, leaving Brenna with the precious child to love and protect.

She spent years hating this man she had never met. The selfish womanizer responsible for her sister’s death and more pain and suffering than she could bear to think about. But then he saved her life. And he’s kind. And it turns out he’s not a womanizer at all, but a quiet warrior who struggles to say what he really means. He’s just a man who wants to take care of his son and make up for the past.

How can she hate a man like that? A man determined to make her love him?

A wonderful romantic adventure set in the Scottish Highlands.
This is one to really get your blood pumping and your keep your attention throughout.

Our hero Magnus sets out looking for the son he never realised he had until recently.
The child now five years old, Magnus follows a trail of supposed sitings until he finds a healer with a child.

Brenna has taken care of her sisters son since birth and she hates Magnus, blaming him for her sisters death and all that has befallen her and the boy since.

Magnus is a wonderful hero for this story .
Strong , quiet, passionate and honest, he gives all he has to his son and Brenna, who eventually returns his love.

Excellent book, really loved this series, it’s been a pleasure to read and follow the Clans adventures.

I received an Arc copy of this book and chose to post this review

This is the final book in the Highland Heroes series and I must say I have thoroughly enjoyed every one of them! Makes me want to be part of Clan MacCoinnich, all the main characters are absolutely wonderful. This is Magnus and Brenna's story and amidst the danger and heartbreak, there is also hope and love.

Magnus is pure male hero material and when he meets his five year old son for the first time, it will melt your heart. Brenna, who has raised her sister's son since his birth, feels only hatred for the boy's father until she meets him and realizes she's been wrong all this time and that he truly is a good man. Trust doesn't come easy to her, though, so Magnus has his work cut out for him!!

Maeve Greyson is a superb writer whose stories will keep you glued to the pages from start to end. Her characters have such depth and warmth, the plots filled with danger and adventure and the endings swoon worthy. I also love the humour thrown in throughout the stories, especially the way the heroes have a healthy fear of their heroines! lol

I received an ARC of this book via NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

Scotland, 1705
Magnus de Gray has been with Clan MacCoinnich his entire life, even though he is not a biological child they are his family. He recently found out he sired a son five years ago. and sadly the mother died in childbirth yet left him this amazing gift. It was complicated the reason he got her pregnant. This had been Bree’s desire, plus the fact she secretly got Magnus very drunk which made her harder to refuse. He had not known she was pregnant when he left. If he had known he wouldn’t have taken another commission and most likely would have married Bree. No he did not love Bree, but they were friends and it would have been the right thing for the child. He now is determined to find and claim his son and bring him back to Clan MacCoinnich. He will not abandon him repeating his family history! That is exactly what his good for nothing father to did him! What he doesn’t expect is to fall in love during this journey to a woman who despises him!

Brenna’s cruel and diabolical father finally allowed her to leave the clan to study the art of healing. He was wicked and diabolical not even giving his own daughters his surname since they were not boys. He made it abundantly very clear he desired sons not daughters, as they were his biggest disappointment! When Brenna returns home she discovers her best friend and sister is pregnant. Their father humiliates them both by having both his daughters exiled. This is the main who I chieftain of Clan Maxwell. So as they are on the run Bree goes into labor the baby boy survives but Bree dies and her sisters dying wish is that her her son knows his father.

Brenna Maxwell hates Magnus de Gray with every fiber in her being! After all that womanizer killed the one person that mattered most to her which was her sister Bree. Brennan has had five years to build her hate. She wrote to him years ago to come and he never did. She doesn’t realize it was a third party whom she trusted to send the letter never did. Yet this person is also worried for Brenna and her nephew and now reached out to Magnus to hopefully save them as they living dangerously alone on the woods,

Magnus is actually quiet, introverted and reserved, but also a very kind, smart, protective, brave and compassionate man. He can see all the goodness in Brenna besides her beauty and intelligence he realizes he is in love with her. He see’s how wonderful she has been to his son, more of a mother than an Aunt, plus so much more than that. He does not think she will ever care for him and it kills him to think that she see’s Magnus in the same image he has of his own heartless father! Will she ever be able to trust and care for Magnus or think he is not good enough to be a father to his son? Will his own son ever see him in a positive light? Read and finds out.

I am always sad when a series I have loves comes to an end. These books were so much fun read and the type historical romance readers absolutely love. I am sure she is plotting out her next amazing series, I have been reading Maeve Greyson books for years as I am never disappointed and always enchanted. So I absolutely recommend every book in this captivating series.

This well-written Highlander romance is dramatic, witty, and full of adventure as Magnus sets out to find the son he did not know he had. Having Evander at his side as he sets out on his journey is enough to try any man's patience. However, Evander proves his worth when they finally catch up with Brenna and his precious son, Keigan. Brenna has hated Magnus for five long years for leaving her sister pregnant, but much of what she believes regarding the circumstances is based on assumptions and it is only when Magnus and Brenna start to reveal the past to one another, do things fall into place. Both Magnus and Brenna have known so much pain and have fought their own wars, leaving physical and emotional scars. The closing chapters of this book are fraught with drama, but together with Clan MacCoinnich at their backs, they overcome impossible odds and find a way through their difficulties. I thoroughly enjoyed this exciting book. Having met Magnus in previous novels in this series, I was already half in love with him. However, this romance sealed the deal for me as the quiet warrior sets out to right the wrongs of the past. Brenna is a feisty and self-sufficient heroine, making her eminently suitable to fit in with the rest of the MacCoinnich women. Keigan is an absolute delight and his contribution to the story makes it that much more enjoyable. I received a copy of this book as a gift through Dragonblade Publishing and NetGalley and this is my honest and voluntary review.

An emotional journey that brings this amazing series to a close.

Magnus set out to find his son, who was five year old and he had not known about. Little Keigan was in the care of his aunt Brenna, since his mother had died in childbirth. Having been banished from her home by her father, they had been trying to make it own their own.

Brenna was determined to dislike Magnus, but he was so kind and helpful, not at all like she had thought. Attraction builds and it is wonderful to behold!

Loved this story and highly recommend!

The Ghost by Maeve Greyson is the last of the Highland's Heroes series which has outlined the lives and loves of men of the MacCoinnich clan. The hero of our story is Magnus de Gray who is a cousin but has lived among the clan most of his life. He is footloose and fancy free, no really interested in marriage. One day he receives a missive that has taken five years to reach him. It tells of a son, his son, born him by Lady Bree Maxwell. He had not loved Lady Bree but he had liked her very much. She was betrothed to a cruel man the age of her father and wanted out of it. She thought if she were ruined he would not want her and she chose Magnus to make that happen. She died in childbirth, having run from the clan with her sister, Brenna. Neither of them had known the fate of their home, that when the cuckolded betrothed had burned the keep to the ground and killed any left nearby. The villagers were lucky he hadn't turned his eye toward them. All that had saved his son was the fact his mother had run. But now, he had to find them. Stopping at an inn he got direction from the proprietor there and so they left on their journey, asking as they went. Meanwhile, Keigan and Brenna had built themselves a cottage in the forest and survived by their own hand and by the things the villagers brought in exchange for herbs or potions that Brenna distributed. When Magnus find them, they are about to be chased away or worse by villagers angry with her for supplying a death potion to an old couple, the wife wanting to die with her very sick husband.

This is another of Greyson's terrific romances with plenty of twists and turns before the end. Magnus' mother had been killed for a witch and he's always felt guilty that he hadn't been there to save her. Now he had Brenna, who had been forced to sleep with men by the cruel landlord who had housed her after Keigan's birth. This had made her stronger and more independent when she finally escaped. She loved Keigan like a mother but recognized that Magnus was his father. Magnus had already worked out a solution to this issue. But then tragedy struck. Greyson is known for her strong characters and this book is no exception. Magnus and Brenna are both characters with depth and serious emotion. Neither of them is willing to give up. Neither of them is shy about taking a life if that person is threatening either of them. The plot is good and as believable as any in this genre. The pacing is excellent, keeping the reader's interest and driving the story forward. All-in-all, this is an excellent book and I am more than willing to recommend it.

I received an ARC from the publisher via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

Maeve Greyson is a new to me author. The blurb caught my eye, and seemed interesting. I don't usually read this time period, but wanted to give it a chance.

Magnus de Gray fathered a child after helping his close friend try to break off her unwanted betrothal, but he was unaware of the son that had resulted from their brief encounter for five years. He recieves a letter from Brenna Maxwell telling him that her sister Bree has died giving birth to their son, and after receiving the letter he journeys to find both Brenna and his son.

I thought that this story was super romantic, especially with the added Gaelic, and that you really felt the love between the hero and the heroine. Keigan, their son for all intents and purposes since Brenna has raised him since birth, was adorable and sweet. I loved his relationship with his Aunt Brenna, and even with his father. Magnus really tried to be patient with both Keigan and Brenna because he knows how much pain he has caused them in the last five years. He was very understanding, loving, and extremely kind.

It was a well written book, but sometimes it felt like the story moved a little too slow. The ending did pick up, but then it felt like with all this going on in the last 25 percent that the ending felt a little rushed.

3.5 stars rounded to 4.

If you're a fan of very romantic medieval romances then this would check all your boxes.

This book was a great ending to the Highland Heroes series. I have loved all six books. They can be read alone, but a fabulous series. The characters in this book and the others were well-written. I have long waited for Magnus's story. I knew it would be an adventure. Finding his son was just the beginning of his adventure. He also found Brenna. Brenna was not just a healer of illness, but healed the heart of Magnus. It was nice to see him have someone and nit be alone. It was great to have appearances by previous MacCoinnich characters. I will miss this series.

Maeve, do you think we could get a book or series with Raithwaite and Lord Chestshire?

Outstanding

I have enjoyed this series so much, and to know this was the last was hard. But the best was waiting with this one. From the first page to the last it was griping. The characters were real with all their flaws and their emotional scars. The journey was one of growth and discovery. Don’t miss this one !

I've enjoyed this series a lot - so much so - that even though Secret Baby is my very very very very least favorite trope in all of Romancelandia - I still wanted to read this book. Magnus had a one-time encounter with a woman and then left to fight a battle. The woman asked him to take her virginity in hopes that it would help her escape a marriage she didn't want. It did that - but it also led her and her sister (Brenna) to be exiled from their home, an unplanned pregnancy, and everyone in her home to be murdered by the man she was supposed to marry. Since that time Brenna has been the primary caregiver for her sister's child. Her sister died following childbirth - with her dying wish for her son to meet and know his father. Unfortunately, due to circumstances outside of Magnus's or Brenna's control - the letter telling Magnus about his child didn't reach him until five years later. Magnus immediately sets off to find his son. When he does find his son and Brenna - he finds a woman who despises him and a lot of mistrust. All of which is totally reasonable in light of what they know of the situation.

I think the evolution of the relationship between Brenna and Magnus was completely reasonable and relatable. Brenna has been through the gauntlet. All for her nephew - she literally gave up everything for him and has been treated poorly by just about everyone she has encountered. She is bitter and untrusting when we meet her - with good reason.

I did feel that everyone was a little too hard on Magnus. Everyone - including Magnus himself came down very hard on him for his actions. While, I am not denying culpability, I don't think the extent of it was really fair. A lot of the blame towards Magnus was - perhaps misplaced. Obviously - in hindsight - he should have stayed and made sure Brenna's sister was ok and not mistreated - or maybe just helped her to escape instead of having sex with her. But the outside actors in the overall tragedy of that story - really are the ones that caused it to be a tragedy. I feel strongly that had Magnus known or had an inkling of what was going to happen he would have acted differently. And it is 100% not his fault he didn't find out about it until 5 years later. Ultimately - this knocked the story down for a me a bit because it felt like preaching about the dangers of sex before marriage. I'm not sure that has a place in romance.

Overall I liked this conclusion to the series - but it wasn't as satisfying as I wanted it to be.

I received this as an ARC from NetGalley, but these opinions are all my own.

Excellent Conclusion of a Perfect Series

This is the last book in the series and it features Magnus de Gray - the longtime Clan MacCoinnich friend and warrior brother to the MacCoinnich brothers. Brenna is the main lass of the story. She has been through numerous hellish situations, with the goal of protecting herself and her nephew-when it seemed nobody cared if they lived or died. That all changes when a giant of a man, with hair as white as snow and a heart full of love, shows up looking for his son. Brenna is forced to either open her tightly sealed heart and learn to trust again, maybe even LOVE again, or face the possibility of being left completely alone. Magnus, who set out on his journey to find his son doesn’t expect to find the love of a woman. Could he actually dare to claim not only his son but the beautiful, stubborn, self-supporting woman? - Magnus realizes he is both enamored and very intrigued by the warrior-strong lass, and he wants nothing more than to earn her forgiveness and steal her heart...just like a ghost in the highland heather.

Things I LOVED:
✔️I loved watching Brenna as she comes out of her self-imposed hell and realizes that she can lay claim to the man who looks good enough to eat.

✔️The slow burn between the Magnus & Brenna.

✔️Keigan and his big heart.

✔️Seeing previous beloved couples and catching up with them.

Things I could have done WITHOUT:
1. Unnecessary young lass who is troubled and attempts to cause trouble for Magnus & Brenna.

2. Keigan and his level of maturity. He was between the ages of 5-6 years old, yet at times he spouted phrases, wisdom, and his actions at times better matched a wizened 30-year old. It was a bit unbelievable.

3. The conflict in the story between the bloody Sassenachs and clan McCoinnich felt unnecessary and like the author was just trying to insert a “required” conflict.

Overall, 3.5 stars ~~> ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️4 stars. Not a lot of heat 🔥🔥in this story, the sexy times are slight let down, not quite fade to black, but they are barely above it.

I still recommend this story & this series if you crave sexy highlanders who find their matches in strong-willed women!

Check out this series if you haven’t already

A sword for hire; that is what Magnus was. He just found out he was a father of a five-year-old son except he had no idea where to find him. His went on his journey with a young man Evander. Unfortunately for Magnus, Evander was a chatterbox when all Magnus wanted was peace. Magnus was a good man, kind, fair, understanding, thoughtful and considerate. Although at times Evander pushed him almost over the edge. Over his travels he finds out the mother of his son had died at childbirth and the aunt Brenna had been taking care of the child. Eventually he found Brenna who hated his guts for deserting her sister and son when they most needed them. However, Brenna was not cruel to keep him from getting to know his son Keigan. The barbs Brenna kept throwing at Magnus I feel were like foreplay. They both were attracted to each other and yet because of the last five years of what she felt was Magnus' neglect kept her from getting to know him. She kept telling herself no one was as genuine as Magnus seemed to be. But eventually she realized that he was the real deal. When Brenna and Keigan were in danger, Magnus and Evander took them back to the keep Tor Ruadh. There Brenna found complete acceptance for who she was and not her past which she felt ashamed of. Then the trouble with the English happened and Brenna was faced by several of her tormentors of the past. Magnus and Brenna took off and ran to the cave storage holds to wait out the English investigation. But trouble followed. Someone had betrayed Magnus' clan and all the storage holds in the caves were destroyed. Even worse the English were crawling around the cave tunnels searching for them. Help from an unlikely source came and helped save them. An exciting story full of suspense, regret and promise. A good read and I do recommend it.

First book I've read by Maeve Greyson and I don't know how to compare this one to her others but... DANG this was good. I intend to go back and read every book in this series. This was so sweet, funny and suspenseful. The whole package, and I want more.

This was a sleeper. Based on other Highlander series I've read, I expect adventure and acts of heroism. This story took a while to get there but didn't disappoint. In fact the climactic late chapters had me so scared for the characters I had to put it down a time or two just to settle my nerves.

As always, Highland characters are amazing and these were exceptionally noble. Such a strong heroine Brenna, who will do whatever she has to in order to raise her nephew and keep him safe. Keigan is the five year old boy who is growing into one she can be proud of. And Magnus—every woman's dream—attentive, unselfish, virile, loving and protective. What more can I say about them? Magnus and Brenna grow into a romance of legend and fight for it despite all odds.

The story is expertly paced and plotted with excellent character development and beautifully touching scenes between Brenna, Magnus and Keigan. Secondary characters and the clan's history are also well understood so that I never felt lost despite having not read the previous books in the series. Ms. Greyson is skilled at what she does and has earned a place among my favorite authors.

I recommend this book to everyone who enjoys historical and/or Highlander romance. It's everything you'd expect—an exceptionally sweet romance and heart-stopping adventure. Yet it's just different enough to feel fresh in a well-established genre. I've read a lot of Highlander stories and this is among the best.

I enjoyed the overall plot of this book a lot, Magnus' journey to find his son and Brenna's family history were intriguing to read. Added to that, the plot got pretty exciting toward the end and kept me wanting to turn the pages. I also very much enjoyed the way the author wrote, she painted a very vivid and realistic feeling picture of Scotland in the beginning of the 18th century.

The romance of this story fell a little flat for me. It felt not well established especially when the big L-word came way too soon, there were also some moments of 'no means convince me' that didn't quite vibe with me. Overall they spend most of the story acting like they had a much longer and deeper relationship than it was actually developed and shown in the story. That dissonance kept me from really connecting with the romance, which bummed me out because I really enjoyed both Magnus and Brenna as characters.

The cast of side characters were a great addition, especially little Keigan stole just about every scene he was in, he was just an adorable little munchkin. I adored his relationship with his aunt, Brenna, and the development of the father and son bond between him and Magnus as well as his own (conflicted) thoughts about the entire situation.

It's not often you can say you hate to see a series end, but I do with this one. I've read 4 out of 6 of the series, all stand alone. I hope MG continues the series, with the off spring because they're certainly very interesting character's with all the kids - hint - hint! It was an added joy to have some of the character's from previous stories make an appearance.

The beginning is so emotional that I felt a connection to the h/H and of course H's son. The H laid with the h's sister (per her request). I wanted the h to have some doubts about also being with the H as her sister had him first.

Romance builds slowly and you understand why the h is cautious. There is lovemaking outside of marriage, bedroom door not opened wide. The way the h talked to her nephew was so touching. The words that the boy spoke were so heart felt and endeared me to him. That's why I want his story to be told - hint hint again! Then you have the H who is so unique because he didn't convey his feelings correctly - caused some very funny dialogue in the beginning with the h.

Nasty villains, a troubled maid whose feelings and actions tore at my heart, suspense, twists, intrigue, romance and some steam - homerun in my book!

No cheating, no cliffhanger, HEA and an epilogue that I was happy to glimpse 10 months in the future. (ljb)

Magnus de Gray is on his way to find a son he never knew he had. It has taken five years for this message to reach him and Magnus knows he has a lot to atone for. Determined to find and raise his son no matter how long it takes, but Magnus is not prepared for the meeting of the woman who has raised him.

Brenna Maxwell has raised her sisters son since his birth loving him as her own Brenna has run from place to place trying to keep them safe. When a man comes to claim his son Brenna is not going to let him go, especially to a man who abandoned his son.

When Brenna is threatened by some villagers her and little Keigan are left with no choice but to follow Magnus to his home. Brenna starts to realize that Magnus is not the man she has come to hate and Keigan is growing closer to his father. Brenna and Magnus will have lots of things to overcome to be able to have a life together! This was a wonderful story to read. I loved Magnus and Brenna and definitely enjoyed reading their story.

Loved this series and a no better way to end it than with Magnus. He is ever the loner. More at ease with animals and the quiet of the land. Always willing to help and when he gives his word, he keeps it. Breena has been on her own since her sister died giving birth. She would do anything to keep and protect Keigan. She is a healer that got her disowned by her father. She keeps to the woods as people tend to accuse female healers of witchcraft. Into this comes Magnus and Evander. He has just learned of his son and plans to take him home. Ever the down to earth person, he gives Keigan the option to get to know him. Breena is afraid she is going to lose him but Magnus knows better. How can he take the only person he has know as his mother away from him. A promise is made. He keeps his word. Clan MacCoinnich is welcoming to Magnus and his family. Breena is leery. She keeps waiting for the shoe to drop. Only it never does. They are all for one and will do anything to protect each other. The next generation is well on it's way.

Magnus de Gray has found out he has a five son out there somewhere, a son he never knew existed living with his Aunt after his mother died. His one goal is to find him. Clan MacCoinnich is the only family Magnus has ever known, they have taught him the importance and meaning of being a family. Brenna Maxwell made a deathbed promise to her sister for her son to know his father, but why hasn’t the man ever shown up? When Magnus does show up her and Keagan her nephew are suspicious and wonder why he’s just now showing up? A captivating story of young Magnus helping a friend escape an unwanted marriage to finding he has a son he never knew about. He’s always longed for a family and poor Brenna whose been abused and has always taken care of herself and Keagan. She know if Keagan goes with his father she’ll lose everything she loves and holds close. What she doesn’t expect is to like Magnus, really like him she’s portrayed him in her mind as a rogue and a seducer of sister who loft without a thought. I have voluntarily read and reviewed the excellent story of love and redemption.

I'm on a Highlanders romance spree, and I'm loving every second of it!!
The book was fantastic. The romance was so beautifully written, the characters reactions and the way they delt with challenges were so mature and reflected how hard their lives were.
The plot was super engaging, it was fast paced and it had multiple subplots; they all were interesting and added to the beauty of the story.
Magnus and Brenna are officially one of my favorite couples, their romance was my favorite kind, mature and heartfelt. Some scenes actually managed to make me tear up, that's how invested I was.
The setting of the clan and the side characters were all really nice, they definitely enhanced the book and made the reading experience so enjoyable.
One of my favorites this year.

Love the cover.... absolutely hawt! This was my first book of the series and the last book of this series but completely stand alone. My first by this author and this was a fun historical romance.

What did I like? I love highland romance and this was such a fun book. Brenna was a tough lass keeping Magnus’s son well after her sister passed. Magnus never knew he had a son and after receiving a missive he journeys to find his already five year old child. The two meet and sparks fly.

Would I recommend or buy? Fun historical romance but I would buy based on the blurb and cover. Recommend to anyone who loves historical bodice rippers! Four stars!

I received a complimentary copy to read and voluntarily left a review!

This was a very sweet love story. Lots of adventure and even a few twists and turns. My heart went out to Brenna because she truly sacrificed herself for her nephew as if he were her own. But of course I wonder if Magnus would have been so determined to care for Brenna if she had not already given so much for his son. Would he have still wanted her if the situation had been different? Was it just his GUILT that made him want to take care of her as repayment for all that she'd been through? Overall, the story was beautiful. The only negative was that it could have used a few more details. Some parts seemed glossed over and I just wanted MORE.

Great end to the series.

Magnus has always been a loner. His mother was murdered accused of being a witch and he has not been much for people ever since. Then he received a 5 year old letter announcing he is a father and that the mother had died birthing him. He set out to find his son and make amends. The aunt of the child had secreted him away for safety and spent the last 5 years hating Magnus. Once Magnus finds them their lives change. This is a story of forgiveness and love that grows from a rotten past. I find I have enjoyed the male character in this series very much. Their goodness and acceptance of the independence of their women is refreshing.

Sadly sounds like this is the last series. I loved them all but this last one, I liked the most!
I loved the humor banters between Magnus and Keigan! I just loved that little lad! I wanted so bad for him to have his own story someday!? Thought there be next book for Edward John Cunningham???

Author has a way with her words! Like this one..

love this story

This was a great story. Well written and interesting. Magnus just found out he has a 5 year old son. He found him with his Aunt Brenna who raised him after her sister died giving birth to his son Keigan. As Magnus got to know his son he fell in love with Brenna. She decides to go with them to Magnus’s clan. They have a run in with the English and they had to hide out in a cave. This book has a lot of action and humor. I highly recommend this book.

I finally could read a series of books well written and edited! It was a delight to find someone who cared about her reader enough to develop a strong plot, build good characterizations, and write with attention to detail in spelling and grammar. Wish we had more authors like Maeve. And please, Maeve, contine writing with the same skill! And Amazon...take a page from Maeve Grelyson's books and hire someone to check out the books you are putting your name on!

I’m exhausted!

I’m not sure I can read another book by this author. I don’t think my nerves can take it. There was so much cruelty, danger, etc. my heart raced through the whole book.

I could not read it in one session because it was just too nerve racking. Just when you thought the H/h would have some peace, up popped another danger.

Read at your own risk!

Sooo Good!

A friends request leads to a search for a son not known NY his father. But the success of the search leads to more than just a son. Magnus , known as the Ghost, finds a love forever true and a ruin with an evil English Commander. One of the best books I've read in a while

Praise for Highland Heroes series

This review is for all 6 books in the series. They are enchanting and very real. Bad things happen to good people and good things can still follow. Praise for the author and her books. I loved everyone and lost sleep reading. As fast as I finished one I couldn't wait to get to the next.
