I use this book as a reference to remind me of the nature of studies shared in the news, on social media. and in written materials. The book helps you to discern the validity of a survey. It helps you to critique a study by reviewing it intelligently. For example, how were the subjects identified, how many were there, what was the nature of the questions, etc. In a time period full of information and misinformation the book helps one to pause before accepting information as is given.
