Following a devastating attack by the Kilvar aliens, humanity and the Daklan are left counting the costs. The enemy warships are technologically advanced and near invulnerable. If a way isn’t found to even things up, the war will be over in weeks.
Fleet Admiral Carl Recker is not a man who accepts defeat and he takes an incredible and potentially deadly gamble. That gamble is nothing less than a mission to plunder the Ancidium.
The Ancidium is a warship of incredible power. Neutralised a decade ago, and trapped in stasis before it could unleash its terrible potential, Recker believes it holds the key to defeating the Kilvar.
However, the Kilvar are equally interested in the Ancidium and they have seemingly endless spaceships with which to accomplish their goals.
Commanding the experimental heavy cruiser Firestorm, Captain William Flint and his crew find themselves in an increasingly desperate battle to protect this greatest of prizes. If they fail, the alliance will lose the war.
Meanwhile, inside this titan of alloy, Lieutenant James Vance and his platoon will discover that not everything is what they expected. Alongside the combat and the death is an opportunity which will have far-reaching consequences for the alliance’s 300 billion citizens.
The game begins, and, as both Vance and Flint are about to discover, fighting in stasis is far more challenging than they could have possibly imagined…
The God’s Titan is a traditional-style science fiction action adventure and the second in the Forged Alliance series. Inside this book, a reader will find space combat, ground combat, ruthless aliens, incredible tech and lots more.
Anthony James spent his youth reading what might now be called classic sci-fi and fantasy books. These days, he spends time in his study with the door locked against rampant and ferocious toddlers, writing books of his own.
That's the third person stuff out of the way.
For anyone who's read any of my books, you'll know that I write action science fiction that pulls no punches and which doesn't cram the good stuff into the last couple of chapters. The action starts early and it doesn't let up. I also take care to mix in plenty of humanity. The characters I write are all distinctly believable, often facing uncaring enemies and overwhelming odds. When they win, it's because they did their best.
Go on. Punch an alien today. Better yet, check out my series of books, each one filled with action, technology, warfare, aliens and against-the-odds survival. Lots of kick-back-and-enjoy weekend or evening reading.
Well that was a turn up for the books lol.. The Lavorixs have over 100 God's must confuse things lol.. Well that was a great storyline and I am really looking forward to the next book..
Story line got my imagination going. Loved the plot turns and some familiar characters. Probably enjoyed book 2 more then book 1 as I warmed to the new characters.
Wow what a change in the story line. Excited to see where this goes. Really like the characters. I’ve read all the previous books and it just gets better.
