Countless people must have questioned whatever would occur if they picked passion over their profession. There may be some who must be wondering what true passion is. Can a hobby be deemed as passion? Is it likely to earn sustenance out of the passion & leave the prevailing, round-the-clock paying job? These are only some of the various thoughts that must have risen in your mind at some time.
Parul has made sure to remove all such thoughts & provide you with an unobstructed pathway in making your passion your profession. She begins by sharing her experience in a big city during her engineering days. It's the struggle & failure during the first year of her college that changed everything in her & encouraged her for success. She never quit on her goals & that's what she advises everyone as well.
There are Points to Ponder behind each chapter, which actually opens up one's deep recess. The entire purpose of the work is to grow as much as attainable & Parul has done it so eloquently. Personal events help trigger one's inner-most passion; one should pursue their aspirations irrespective of how several people drag them down; viewing failure as the first step in learning is how one can advance in life.
The one point that actually held me is when Parul stated that rather than simply choosing any hobby as our passion, we first require to understand its inherent perspectives, next decode its know-how & investigate further on the matter. Only when you are content & your inner voice encourages you (yes, your voice when reading this) give it all you got. Though only 51 pages, this book is packed with punch.
Overall, I would definitely suggest this book to everyone; you won't be left complaining.

Engineer Your Passion is very inspirational book for all people with any age group. This book is based on the author's life itself. It is about how we can reach out to our passion through hardwork and belief of magic.
This book motivates the reader to never give up even if you fail. The hardwork will pay off one day. Always listen to you Inner Voice and it will lead you to success. The book is about the life journey of the author from a failed student in first year of Engineering to a successful graduate with a job as an engineer and the circumstances which lead her to a health advocate. From health advocate to an author and to an authorpreneur. It briefs about the changes made by herself in her lifestyle and thoughts to attain her success. This is a must read one.

At least once in all of our lives we stand at the forked-path of passion and profession. What to choose and what not to... that is the question. But why don't we just create our own path, a middle path which has the blend of both passion and profession? And if you do want to create; how to? After all it's not an already laid path but you have to create it. This book holds the answer for you.
Starting from the meaning of the word 'happiness', the author walks towards FAIL which she explains as 'First Attempt In Learning' and isn't it common to FAIL in the very first attempt in learning. If you don't fail, how will you know where you are going wrong? So accept the failure and learn the lessons that fail is gifting you with.
Written in first person narrative, the book will make you connected to the author. She has narrated her journey, both ups and downs with clarity, optimism and wisdom. Her story is like an inspiration which keeps on telling you NOT TO QUIT! And if you feel like to, don't concentrate on the path you walked, but remember the why you walked?
One thing which I absolutely loved in this book is the author's life journey and the reason behind the happenings of every downs of her life. It's as if God has given her the opportunity in the form of a bad situation, now it was upto her if she wants to walk ahead by grabbing the opportunity and learn her lessons or if she wants to stop and stand at the dead end. But as you can see, the author has not only learnt and grabbed her opportunities but also soaring higher in the field of both passion and logic. And this inspires the readers of this book as well to not to quit, but to walk ahead and do work, which makes an individual happy.
Showcasing the ways to hone leadership and marketing skills, motivating her readers is one of the best jobs she has done through this book. But is this only her book and her, motivating her readers? No. She also has short exercises set after every chapter. But mind you, the exercises maybe short but your answers may not be, because they will make you think and use both the left and right side of your brain, that is both logic and imagination.
So my dear friends, I would really request you to not leave your passion behind by hearing others' words because it is YOUR passion for a reason. Listen to your inner voice as stated by the author and then take the decision. Engineer your inner passion and turn it into your career. Don't go back out of fear or due to lack of faith. Believe in yourself and grab this book to nurture your passion so that you can create that middle path for yourself.

This book really emphasis in living in hope and believe yourself.
Author also portray her problems when she was all alone in the Bombay pursuing her engineering degree she failed the first year, she wants to quit but she didn't now she hold three degrees.
In the last chapter there are some logical questions and tips to ask yourself I really appreciate it
It is short read of 51 pages it easily completed in one sitting.
Overall it is motivational read to trust yourself.

This book shows me why I need to use my inner voice to identify what I truly need, my desires and how to use them to create a purpose.

"I don't equate success to money".
This line resonated with me so well. Being an Indie author, initially, the money was not coming in. It would be so easy to give up. But persistence is the key and this is exactly what Parul's book is all about. I read it, re-read it just to embrace the idea of not being alone with my doubts. At every step of her journey (I will call this book Parul's journey) as she spoke about simple things. - everything we follow in our daily life, yet forget about once our goal is achieved. Starting from her childhood journey to starting her own business in India, Parul has opened our minds to many possibilities. She is a wealth of information. Trust me, this is something every woman out there needs - whether you are convinced to start on your own or taking the first leap of faith. Looking forward to the next.

Experience is the best teacher. Likewise the author has suggested to learn from our failure. Failure is the growth of our aim. Learning from them and making ourself steady to meet our passion is her idea.
She tries to make the failure as the learning process ( positive approach ) of examine ourself through these questions,

She advises to trust our INNER VOICE, which has the power to meet our passion. Having confident and visualising our dreams are helpful to reach our aims. Non fiction book which tells about a girl who comes from a small town named Rookee, born and brought up in a joint family with the love for education. She wanted to become an engineer and make her family proud. She tells about how she moves to Bombay to fulfill her dream but faces a lot of difficulty living and studying there. Her first encounter to failure happens when she fails her first year of engineering, filled with a lot of self doubt but the best part is that she didn't give up. She completes her degree in engineering with flying colours. She had a degree in her hand with a good pay job when she gets married and moves to Arizona. She lives happily there when she hear about her father's health condition and comes back to India. There she realised that she want to help people by being a personal trainer, a nutritionist. She went to various places to learn all about it and started her career from her passion. She had a dream to publish her book so by the time she realised it she had a 3 year old son in her hands. She used to work really hard the whole day and then she used to sit down at 10:00pm to write the book till 5:00 to 6:00 am. She wrote the book but after writing she started wondering about the marketing of book because she wanted the world to get the knowledge she was willing to share. She started learning about marketing skills too, so she became a marketer. She started collaborating with the other moms asking them to write their story and that's how her authorpreneurship started. A small town girl who just wanted to be an engineer turned into so many things.
This is an inspirational story and I enjoyed reading it.
The language was easy to understand and it is a fast paced book with facts.

Passion to profession is an arduous yet not preposterous journey. We all hallucinate, but scanty of us triumph making the dream come true. Success predominantly have three phases- 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸, 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻 & 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝘆! Aforementioned was browned by the author. She thought, she processed and she made it happen.
The author grew up in a small town in India known for housing the very first engineering college in the country. She was distinctly ambitious vis-à-vis her carrier since childhood. The author, Parul Agarwal, here makes an apportionment of her odyssey from being an engineer to being a health advocate and then to being an author. Cladding and veneering a multifarious failures, she promised self to be an inspiration for the younger ones; not giving up on her goals and plans. She promptly moved to America, got hitched, gave birth to a girl child, living blithely yet with a miserable schedule. Life brought Parul profound ups and downs. She had to superintend being a virtuous mom, a righteous wide besides heading up work and household stuffs. The struggle was real but she made it go. Throughout the book, she pumps up a umpteen questions (I personally answered ‘em, penning down at my journal), which made the book engrossing, riveting and thought-provoking.
For about the review, I sewed up the book in just one go. Unlike self help books repeating alike verdicts and stuffs persistently, this book had a story. Although I don’t really have a proclivity reading e-books, I spared my time flicking through this. There were number of entities and incidents I felt were missing. I could question over and over again for “How it happened? Why it happened? What happened then?” etc. They’re still running hush-hush my head. Apart from inkling like integers are passed over, the book is worth reading. I could solitary satisfy myself edging it’s an e-book, so how am I even conjectured to know everything (perhaps).

Author has put forward great ideas through the book thereby sharing a pool of vast experience. Ideas are less theoretical and more practical.
Book is small and point to point. Language is easy. Book has lot of exercises which helps reader to get understanding of deep ideas. I would recommend buying a paperback of this book so that you can complete the exercise with much ease. The book is inspiring
There were many takeaways from this real life journey mentioned in this book. Two major takeaways, which I would like to highlight, are –
i) Getting 3 degrees after failing in first year is not impossible. Miracles happen for those who believe it. If you trust something, it will happen. If you mistrust, it won’t. Life is as simple as that.
ii) If you have passion to do something, the task will become easier. In the contrast, if you don’t have passion to do something, the task will be burden for you. So make your choices wisely.
On the other side, book claims to be on the “Leadership in digital space” which I found to be exaggerated in the sense that book talks more about leadership as a whole without giving adequate consideration to digital space. Secondly book talks more about core idea of engineering your passion but does not lay down a holistic approach on how to implement it. From the description of the book, it seemed to be much more interactive but many a times, book was like a monologue.
I liked this book and recommend it.

Just as much the Fictional books touch the chords of our creative side of the brain, the non-fiction books try to stimulate our logical side of the brain and urge us to reason and compare everything we read to the practical scenarios we face in our lives.
However, we often tend to loose our interest while reading such books because of the plethora of content in them and the limited experiences we had in our lives to actually correlate. Here's when short books come to play.
Engineer your passion is ome such book which is written keeping eloquence the main focus and intending to directly approach the reader's mind with some real questions.
It is a short memoir cum self help book which helps readers to understand the meaning and importance of passion and how we can engineer our ways to make it a success.

"Engineer Your Passion: Leadership in Digital Space" by Parul Agrawal. This book is about the author herself and her journey to let us know how she has achieved so much in her life and motivated many people to work up on things and not give up kind of attitude. Coming from a small town like Roorkee, being so ambitious about studies and getting a seat in an engineering college in Mumbai, she failed in her first year. Studies are everything for her, but what happened to her then? Why she couldn't pass the exams and basically slay them like usual? She was filled with guilt and unhappiness in her heart and thought she had utterly failed in her life. That is when she changed the meaning of "FAILURE" into "First Attempt In Learning. In a chapter, the author has raised some insightful questions like "We have different definitions for happiness, then why we have the same definition of failure? ." Questions like these, which are in the book, did really made sense to me. This explains her journey from an engineer to a nutritionist, author, authorprenuer. She did all these by simultaneously managing her family and being the best-selling author for 2 books of hers. This book “Engineer Your Passion” revolves around the author's life experiences during her journey that went from failure to success. While studying Engineering she was unable to cope up with new environments and that drastically affected her studies. She failed in her first year of engineering but after that, she worked hard and overcome a lot of hardships, and finally graduated in Electrical Engineering. Then she wanted to help people by becoming a nutritionist and she did that. In such a wavy journey of her one thing, she kept constant, was never to give up.
That’s how from a failure she became a B. Tech engineer, from an engineer she became a health consultant, then author, and now an authorpreneur.
Listening to the inner voice, finding logic in magic to change attitude, developing patience, and visualizing success. She has provided some magnificently practical tips to gain leadership in digital space at the end of the book.

Engineer your passion Book Review: In the midst of fictional books, the written words of the realities of non-fiction often gets shadowed. Whether it be a short read or a long, as is the tendency of the human brain, it cannot take anything that is termed as 'motivated talk' too long. But, this book follows a different path altogether. It provides motivational insights with personal experiences and traits. Parul Agarwal in this book has detailed the path to success in such a brilliant manner, that this work is simply unputdownable. The very first aspect that will attract readers to this book is the approach, which all throughout says that it is okay to fail, but one has to learn from that and never to give up. Even the author in her initial days of engineering wanted to give away her promising career but she Stoodfast and came out with flying colors. The skills that the author achieved, holds all that points that are mentioned in each chapter. One of the most important aspects of this work is that the author has provided practice paper at the end of each chapter to enhance the motivation steadily. Amongst many other chapters in the book, I liked the chapter on brain the most. This book though, is a must read for all irrespective of the age.

The book starts with a bit of sarcastic note, and perhaps it was true to the core. The lines are -
"Everyone says: Follow Your Passion! But how do we do this? I believe it takes a bit of engineering."
The author has portrayed her simplest emotions so beautifully that i was all set with my thinking cap on that why are we searching for complex and complicated gestures, behaviors, words or emotions when simplicity is easier to touch people's hearts.
The book is very simple describing some life struggles of the author. And through these life struggles she has motivated and inspired a number of people who read this. It is a very short, sweet and simple self help book which can fill someone with lots and lots of positivity by the end. My favourite part was those questions and spaces to fill the answers for the readers at end of chapter, it can really help us in self introspection. Reading this I felt as if I was talking to a long lost friend who's telling me her life struggles and motivating me.
I would recommend it to everyone because we all need positivity and motivation to pursue our dreams and keep going with quality of leadership.

This small book contains real story of the author about her passion, struggle, achievements and journey as an entrepreneur. Everyone of us has dreams to achieve, aims to be successful but how many of us achieve our dreams. Fulfilling your dreams require hard work, and hard work is always a key factor to be successful. Author Parul Agarwal has written her story of coming to Mumbai from a small town for engineering, how she completes her degree even after getting failed in first year, getting settled abroad and finally coming back to India due to her father's health condition. The journey to become entrepreneur, an author , a health coach are self motivating to many. The difficulties faced by author in her life and how she overcome to become successful are discussed in the book in the form of a story. The book also has some space for the readers to write their answers after a few chapters.
