From the author of the #1 bestseller & award-winning poetry book, Healing HER, comes the mythopoetic book about the healing power of nature.
"Story Medicine by Sez Kristiansen is a deliciously healing piece of work that will make you want to run wild into nature's arms. Look out Mary Oliver, you have a new prodigy!" The Danish Literary Magazine, 2021
This book is dedicated to those who seek a remedy of which this world cannot heal alone.
These books have been created for sensitive souls who want to heal and empower themselves through the profound power of story medicine.
Through the spoken word, journaling, meditation, poetry & mindful listening, you will be guided back to the essence of yourself - the whole, validated, worthy, confident & self-guided reality of who you already are.
The mission of Sez' work is to provide you with a mirror of the voice you already have in your own head. The words used in all of these meditations, storytellings and poetry come from living in the wilderness and being closer to that unconditional Heart that speaks of kindness, healing & presence.
This is the place where words are planted as seeds into the very heart of your being - and where you will be able to rewrite your emotional health story; blossoming from truth.
I first encountered Sez on the Insight Timer meditation app. I then explored her website and subscribed to her podcast. This is her first book that I have read and it didn't disappoint. Sez has a lovely, magical voice and writing style. which works uniquely well with this small book of poetic passages.
Her writings encourage us to explore our deeper lives, where we come from, our wholeness, and how to stay grounded in an often demanding and chaotic world. She encourages us to look beyond our surface experience, emotions and expectations, and to delve deeper into our heart for guidance.
I see so many people on social media who are in real pain and could use some quiet time with this book. Some may laugh and see it as "woo-woo", but for those seeking some validation and acceptance, I would highly recommend the read. I'll be rereading for sure.
