Books saved my life after losing my parents as a teenager. Now as a librarian, sharing books with teens to get them through hard times is a privilege and joy. So imagine my surprise when I meet Prescott, a man who values the same things as me. He runs the teen outreach center and is giving his life to make the world a better a place. It’s like we’re a match made in heaven. After a whirlwind night where love is at the tip of both our tongues, I learn that maybe we aren’t the same after all… I wanted him to check me out on a long-term loan, but maybe it’s too good to be true. Maybe we better shelve this romance before both our hearts get broken.
His Curvy Librarian is a new filthy-sweet series brought to you by Frankie Love and Kaylin Evans. It’s full of heat, heart, and literary innuendo. What’s sexier than a man who loves to read? How about a naked man who loves to read?
Frankie Love writes filthy-sweet stories about bad boys and mountain men. As a thirty-something mom to six who is ridiculously in love with her own bearded hottie, she believes in love-at-first-sight and happily-ever-afters. She also believes in the power of a quickie.
❤️ Get ready to fall in love ... you deserve it! ❤️
This is book two of this series and I couldn’t be more thrilled. Prescott and Brooklyn are literally a match made in heaven. They both love classic romance and have a love for teens. Brooklyn is a local librarian who works in the teen department and is assisting Prescott with a library program for his outreach center.
They exchange strictly over email and phone calls for about 2 months until it’s time to bring over books to complete their project. Who knows that when Prescott comes out to grab the books from Brooklyn that he is tall, dark and handsome.
From there their story is written they fall hard for each other. This book was sweet and even though there were a few bumps in the road this is my favorite book in the series so far.
Brooklyn thinks things are too good to be true after their first beautiful night together and things get a little heated. Will Prescott fix their little fight and make her the happiest woman ever?
“So what, Prescott, you’re here to try to make us feel guilty for what we have?” my mother asks, sounding tired. “No,” I say. “I’m only here for one thing—Grandma’s engagement ring. You told me a long time ago that I could have it when I found the right woman, and that woman is Brooklyn. I’m going to ask her to marry me.”
Read to see if she says yes🙌🏽.

The second book in the His Curvy Librarian is very good. There is some family drama because he is rich and she is poor and they have a totally different social status but I liked the angst. Adorable epilogues too!

The second book in the series and personally I think the best one, even though it's still too stereotypical for the genre it is coming from... 2,5 satisfied curvy kittens, almost rounded to 3 :)
First sentence: IT’S early afternoon at Golden Creek Library, about half an hour before the local schools let out for the day, and I impatiently blow a wisp of blonde hair away from my eyes. Last sentence: “Upstairs. Bring your library card—I’ve got something for you to check out.” Goodreads Challenge 2022: 24. book
Thus story was a real sweet story. The sweet curvy librarian that fell head over heels in love with Prescott the hot social worker that loves books just as much as Brooklyn.😍😍This story was sweet, romantic, steamy, fun to read and with a few twists and turns😉 Safe without OM/OW drama.👍👍👍
Book 2 of this series. Brooklyn meets Prescott when she delivers library books to the youth centre. She’s instantly attracted to him and through conversation finds out that he enjoys the classics as does she. Prescott can’t believe his eyes when he sees Brooklyn for the first time and after an afternoon together talking, he decides to ask her out. He can’t believe how smart, caring and beautiful Brooklyn is but he’s not sure how she’ll react to finding out who he really is. A sweet entertaining read with likeable characters. They are funny, enjoy a lot of the same things and and have great chemistry together. I received an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
The second book in the His Curvy Librarian is even better than the first. I didn't think I would love Brooklyn and Prescott so much. They are just perfect for each other. The chemistry is instant and intense. Like they're pulled right together. They have family drama to deal with and work through, but this short ends with a very happy ever after. Such a wonderful series and story!
This is the second book in this fun new series of fast and fiery reads with plenty of feels. Brooklyn and Prescott were lovable and shared an amazing chemistry and attraction. The story was entertaining and enjoyable. A bit of drama added to their story really helps your heart become invested. I totally loved it and am looking forward to book three. This is my independent, impartial review.
Check Her Out is the second book in His Curvy Librarian series. There are three books in the series. The story is told in dual pov. It’s a short insta lust/insta love read.
There were some inconsistencies between book 1 and book 2 that drove me nuts. In book 2, Brooklyn talked about Cassidy’s father-in-law. When it was Chuck’s “grandfather” not father. Also, Brooklyn kept talking about being sad that she lost Cassidy as a roommate when Cassidy got married to Chuck. Cassidy wasn’t Brooklyn’s roommate. In book 1, Cassidy lived at home with her parents. In book 1, Cassidy said her sister Nora and Brooklyn were roommates. In Check Her Out, Brooklyn mentioned it at least 4 times about being sad Cassidy was no longer her roommate.
“Nora’s got a place of her own across town and she and Brooklyn are damn near inseparable roommates.” ~ Cassidy, Talk Wordy to Me (book 1)
I found the inconsistencies distracting when I was reading the story. Inconsistencies drive me nuts. Other than that, I thought it was a nice short read.
Brooklyn Hart (h) age 24 is a librarian at the Golden Creek Library. She is in charge of the teen section of the library. Books were her salvation when her parents died when she was a teenager. She ended up moving in with her best friends parents (Cory and Martha Baker) after her parents died.
For several months, Brooklyn has been corresponding via email with the leader of a teen outreach center Prescott Beufont (I don’t recall his age being mentioned). Prescott is interested in starting some type of library program for the kids at his outreach center. They both share of love of books. Brooklyn is happy to help him with the endeavor. Prescott used to be very materialistic. Then two years ago, his outlook on life changed when he was on a trip. He decided to use his money to start up a teen outreach center.
Brooklyn loads up a lot of book from the library and takes the books to the teen center. The first time Prescott and Brooklyn meet, there is an instant attraction. He asks her out on a date. He shows up at her place driving a Lexus. Brooklyn wonders how a guy that runs a teen outreach program can afford an expensive car. They end up going to the town’s festival that night and go to a showing of Casablanca. They have a magical night and a wonderful first date. Things end up moving fast with them. I think the following day or two, Prescott asks Brooklyn to join him for dinner at his parent’s house. Brooklyn is in for quite the shock when she arrives at Prescott’s parent’s home. Dinner with the parents ends up being a disaster. After the disastrous dinner, Brooklyn wonders how they could even make things work when they both have lived very different lives. Prescott knows that Brooklyn is the one and is determined to convince her that they are perfect for each other.
Of course the two get their HEA. The story has two epilogues. The first epilogue is 1 month later The second epilogue is 5 years later.
I did like the story, but like the inconsistencies distracting. I found the main characters to be likeable. I liked that Prescott had a big library in his home. I liked that Prescott has read Jane Austen. I liked the two teens Ty and Jaxon as side characters. Other characters from the first book make appearances in book 2. It’s a quick read.
Check Her Out is the second book in the His Curvy Librarian series and is a delicious and decadent romantic story with a good hit of smokin' hot sexy passion added in. The story is about Brooklyn Hart and Prescott Beaufort. Brooklyn is twenty-four years old and is the teen librarian at the Golden Creek Library, where she works with her two "sisters". Brooklyn has had a lot of tragedy in her life as she grew up on the wrong side of town and her parents were killed by a drunk driver when she was fifteen. But luckily for her her parents has loved her, even if they did not have much money, and they worked hard to provide. She was also lucky as she was friends with sisters Nora and Cassidy and it was their parents who took her in and looked after her, becoming her second family. Prescott started and is the director of the teen outreach center in Golden Creek. Prescott opened it two years ago and has worked hard to make it welcoming to the kids and a place they want to come to. He has also started different programs over the years and the latest is a satellite library. For the last two months he has been emailing with Brooklyn to get this project started and today is the day that she is to deliver the books and help set it up in the corner of the room he has gotten ready. What neither Brooklyn and Prescott expected was that they would be checking each other out and not returning their hearts, overdue fines be darned. But Prescott has not told Brooklyn something that will come back to bite him on the butt......he actually is the son of the richest family in Golden Creek.
This book was really enjoyable, sweet, sexy story with some drama and angst, family and more. I liked both Brooklyn and Prescott and how they connect with each other on a deeper level with their minds, souls and also bodies.
Frankie Love and Kaylin Evans are just knocking it out of the park with the awesome His Curvy Librarian series! If you haven't read the first book, Talk Wordy to Me, you can still enjoy the wonderful Check Her Out as it is a standalone (but WHY wouldn't you take in as much awesomeness as possible?!). This book has everything your instalove heart desires: fabulous characters, steamy romance, brilliant writing... Brooklyn, the teen librarian at the Golden Creek Library, has been collaborating with the director of the local youth outreach center to create a library at the center - but up until the day she delivers the books, they have just been communicating by email. But when Brooklyn and Prescott finally meet, they are both instantly attracted to one another. It only takes one date for them both to believe they have each met their One - but of course, there has to be a LITTLE drama before they find their HEA...
This is a fabulous collaboration between Frankie Love and Kaylin Evans, a wonderfully-written, un-put-downable love story and I cannot recommend Check Her Out - and the rest of the series - enough!

In this book we get Brooklyn Hart's story and are introduced to Prescott Beaufont. Brooklyn we met in Talk Wordy to Me. This book can be read as a stand alone or as part of the series. Brooklyn wasn't originally a Hart she was adopted by them after her parents passed away. She has grown up and is currently one of the 3 town librarian's an honor she shares with her sisters. Each of them work in a different department and Brooklyn's is young adult. So when she emails back and forth with Prescott looking to start an outreach library at the community center she agrees. When delivering the books she gets her first look at Prescott and realizes with him she might just agree to anything. Prescott knew he was emailing with a librarian but did realize how beautiful she actually was. In his mind after just his first look at her if he had known how she looked he would have been at the library quicker. Can he convince her that he is more than what she sees on the outside though? Will this be a HEA or just a missed opportunity for someone amazing?
Such an amazing story. These characters have you rooting for them the whole book through. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it and this one here it is the scratch to your itch or better yet the filling to your oreos! Speaking of filling…..wait, that’s for later. Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with! By the time you’ve figured out who is who and how deep hate can run, you’re already hooked, and you may as well give up the fight and prepare yourself for an all-nighter! Can’t say I didn’t warn you. This series is really great and short about the librarian and the things they have to overcome to have their own happily ever after. The chemistry is intense from the moment the librarian and the teen outreach owner meet in person for the first time for a project. They have a love for books is the first common ground but upon getting to know each other there is so much they have in common other than books. What happens when a wrench is thrown into the mix will they continue to see each completely or will that wrench separate them or will they will you find happiness?
Brooklyn is a librarian and she works in the teen department of the library. She is helping Preston get a library started for his outreach center. They have an instant connection from the time they started talking through to meeting in person. Preston immediately asks her out and she surprises him by inviting him out with her friends. Things change when her friends back out so she can be alone with him. They have an amazing night and Preston doesn't want to lose her so he asks her to go to a family dinner with him. Brooklyn thinks its fast but she agrees having no clue what she is in for. Preston hasn't told her about who he really is and when they pull up to his family's home Brooklyn gets an eye opening exeperience. Will his family cause him to lose Brooklyn? Can they be together with how different their backgrounds are?
This is a great story that once I started it I couldn't put it down. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

They're literally engaged within 2 days...yes, 2 days. This is very much an insta-love novella and I wasn't buying that they just fell in love and decided to marry that quickly. I get that when you know you know. But it still felt incredibly rushed to me.
I did like both Prescott and Brooklyn. Prescott comes from the richest family in town, but he chooses to run a successful teen program for underprivileged kids and I had to give him props for stepping outside of his family's money and bonds and doing something to help others. He had a real connection with the kids and I just loved that about him.
Brooklyn was also cute and of course, a librarian. She grew up on the wrong side of the tracks, according to Prescott's parents, and then lost her parents in an accident when she was 15. She really did overcome a lot and was such a great and humble character. She was a bit down on herself to begin the book and his parents didn't help. But I liked seeing that she found a man who loved her, past and all.
Brooklyn is a librarian who oversees the teen book section at the Golden Creek Library. Prescott is the director at a teen outreach center. Prescott has reached out to Brooklyn to set up a lending book program at the teen center to give teens better access to reading material. Brooklyn and Prescott find they share similar beliefs and values. The chemistry between Brooklyn and Prescott is scorching hot. Will Brooklyn walk away when she finds out Prescott comes from money and his snobby parents treat her horribly? Will Prescott stand up for Brooklyn against his parents? Can Prescott convince Brooklyn she is the woman for him no matter who her family is or what she does? I really enjoyed Check Her Out by Frankie Love. I would definitely recommend getting Check Her Out and the other book in His Curvy Librarian series by Frankie Love.

First things first; I love the cover of this book! Check her out is the second book in the ‘’his curvy librarian’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters loveable and the storyline enjoyable. Brooklyn is a librarian and book lover. When she works on a community outreach project, she meets Prescott. Prescott wants Brooklyn as soon as he meets her but will love blossom between them? The chemistry Prescott and Brooklyn is clear to see and I liked them together. I thought they were perfect for one another. I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more books from this series.
This brings us Librarian Brooklyn Hart and Prescott Beaufont, director of a teen outreach program. Brooklyn brings books to the program and is surprised when she meets Prescott, and she has only been corresponding with him through emails. Their attraction is instant, however, Prescott comes from a very wealthy family and when they meet Brooklyn, they are absolutely horrible to her. To Prescott's credit, he tells them off and wants nothing to do with them. However, Brooklyn feels horrible, and it will take Prescott some time until he finally convinces her that she is it for him, no matter what she does or her family status. This was a great read and I highly recommend it. I did receive an arc for an honest review.
Check Her Out by Frankie Love is a quick, lovely, sweet steamy romance story of Prescott and Brooklyn..Brooklyn lost her parents ih her teenage years but thanks to friend parents who treat her as their own and become her second parents.; now yaers later shes the Librarian in her hometown and met a Gourgeous man Perscott who loves the same things as her..He runs the teen outreach center and is giving his life to make the world a better a place..It’s like the’re a match made in heaven.but things got complicated when she met his snobs parents and Brooklyn thought its better to stop it now before both their hearts get broken...

I kind of loved this story. It was entertaining and enjoyable with one exception. The characters were interesting and likable for the most part. Prescott's parents did some major changing so it made me wonder if they were worried about some sort of comeuppance. The teens that Prescott worked with at the outreach center were funny but also sweet. Nora and Cassidy were wonderful friends for Brooklyn and practically sisters. I loved that Prescott and Brooklyn had been getting to know each other for a while online before meeting in person and having fireworks go off. They were super cute and sweet together. They were also a bit steamy. I loved their happy ever after. I recommend reading this book.

Brooklyn is excited that the library will be opening up a satellite location at the teen center. Brooklyn is the teen outreach librarian and her goal to to make as many books as possible available to everyone. Growing up, Brooklyn has had a hard time and getting lost in a book was her favorite goto activity. Her contact at the youth center, Prescott shares her enthusiam. The day Brooklyn delivers the books to the center and meets prescott in persona, sparks fly. Prescott asks her on a date and the two are falling in love. Then Brooklyn discoves who Prescott really was and lets fear bury he love.

I like short reads for days when I want to relax and don't have a lot of time. But, it really frustrates me when two or more authors write sister books with very obvious mistakes. In this book the author refers to Cassidy as her former roommate when in book one Cassidy lived at home with her parents, her sister Nora was Brooklyn's roommate also Cassidy s husbands grandfather is referred to as Cassidy s father-in-law. Do authors not read the others books? Where is the proof readers? Maybe its just me but I really find this more annoying then the other mistakes ( typos missing words, etc) enjoy the stories just wish they were accurate.
Brooklyn and Prescott’s story is so sweet and steamy. Sparks fly when the librarian and the teen outreach owner first meet in person for a joint project. With their mutual love of books they go on to learn that though they share many other interests, there is one difference that might put a wrench in their budding relationship. But, as always, Frankie Love delivers an amazing and steadfast HEA! I love his series! Can’t wait for the next one.

Book two in the series is about Brooklyn's shot at a HEA; good looking, book reading, loving men...what's not to like? I liked the connection between Brooklyn and Prescott, it was lovely to see two people who got each other. Things moved super quick for them which leads to some problems, but with faith, good friends and honest opinions, things have a chance of working out. I am enjoying this series so far.

Really liked this one more than the first one. Brooklyn is a local librarian who is bringing some books to a non profit Prescott runs. They have been talking via email and when they meet for the first time, it’s an instant attraction. While they start off hot and heavy, once she meets his family it knocks some of the shine off their relationship. I loved how determined he was to show her how much she meant to him. Such a great read with a great happy ending.

This is the second book in the His Curvy Librarian series. It's a sweet and steamy instalove story. This is a great series. You can enjoy this book as a standalone, but the books are connected because Brooklyn's friends with Cassidy from book one and they both work at the library. I loved Prescott and Brooklyn's story. If you like steamy instalove stories that are also a little sweet too, you'll enjoy this story. I can't wait to read Nora's story.

Brooklyn has been working with Prescott to add books to the teen outreach center. When they meet, there is a instant connection, but he is hiding a secret of his past and his family, because he wants Brooklyn to know him. When the truth comes out, can they find the middle or are they to different.
Grab this book and settle in to enjoy a beautiful journey of finding love, understanding differences and working to help others.

I enjoyed reading Check Her Out(His Curvy Librarian Book 2)!! All about Brooklyn who is twenty-four years old is a Librarian working in the Teen Department and Prescott who is in his late twenties & owns the Teen Outreach Center. He has reached out to the Library to set-up a lending book program at the Teen Center. Read about Brooklyn & Prescott and the various adventures they go through!! The story was a page turner, that kept me up, most of the night!! I can’t wait tread book 3 !!!!
Prescott has taken off the rose tinted glasses he’s been wearing ever since childhood. He has taken his money that he’s earned from his father‘s legacy and turned it into something positive. Brooklyn was always looking for something but didn’t know what. These two characters meet in the middle by circumstance. Both have one thing in common books and more books. Let’s hope the Dewey decimal system does not interfere with their reading pleasures.

He was from a very well to do family,he finally woke up to what is really going on around him, and opens a center for the youth. They been talking through the email for months about getting a library fixed up at the center. Instant attraction,¹st date and meeting of his parents(not a good thing). He tells them off, gets his grandmothers ring and goes to her. She gotten on line and seen his life2 yrs earlier how can she compete but he showed her and told her the truth ,and that they belong together.
This is a fairly short story with instant desire between the two main characters who are both book lovers who work at trying to get kids interested in reading. Frankie Love's stories are always easy reads that feel like they are based in reality and her characters would be great friends. This story with Brooklyn and Prescott is no different. I liked them and their characters felt realistic to their jobs and the plot. Very nice.
