Eh, I didn’t like this one nearly as much as any of the other stories in this series.

Luca is the bodyguard from the previous book, Dylan’s friend. Mia is a popular online gamer whose address was posted online and she’s getting death threats. She hires Luca as her bodyguard.

Mia is somewhere around 19-20 and it’s mentioned that Luca is around 15 years older than her. Age gap, yessss. Mia is a Little who likes to wear diapers and suck her thumb and it just so happens that Luca is a Daddy.

The whole transition into their DDlg relationship was way too fast. It was like “Do you wanna be my Daddy?” ... “Ok sure.” 🙄

Luca also said “Little One” every other damn sentence. Mix it up with some other pet names or something. Geez.

We still got the intro to the next book’s Daddy and it’s going to be a professor. Drooool. 🤤

This was about a 2.75⭐️ for me. Good for a one-time quickie read and that’s about it.

It was... predictable. What a shame.

I have read the previous four books, and I am seeing a repetitious pattern that irks me. Other than the need for a better read-through to find silly-stupid errors, this story really needed a few punches in its plot lines to be a little more original and creative. I know it's a short story, but I've read short stories with better and more twisted plot lines that would have made me a happy girl.

In this story, Mia is a gamer. Of what, I don't know. Could had been D&D. Could had been Mario Brothers video games. Sure, females are few and far between in this activity, but I wish we had better world-creation than what was presented here. She could had been going for Miss America or Battlebots. Not enough exposition that worked itself into the main plot of this story. Mia has been the recipient of nasty email full of death threats enough to warrant an official investigation by local police. (Personally, I would think some other agencies would have had come online to help out at the main threats crossed state borders, making it a federal crime.) So she hires a bodyguard, Luca, who is now stateside with a butt-load of PTSD to deal with. Perhaps a little DD/lg will help him calm down and get his brain back into civilian life rather than expecting an enemy around every corner.

I have more sympathy for Luca than I do for Mia. Considering that Mia, herself, has her own PTSD moments to battle in the dark, you'd think you would feel at least something for her. Not as much, I'm afraid. I keep seeing the writer forcing himself to write about things he isn't familiar with. Shame because this could had been quite the story to follow. Still debating if I want to read the last book in this series.

Primal Bodyguard Daddy is the fifth book in the Daddy's Little Girl series and is the story of Mia and Luca in the DD/lg romance. Luca is retired military who now works as a private security/bodyguard. Mia is in college part-time and also is a professional online gamer. When Mia is doxed with her address being put on the web what follows are some very volatile and vile posts on a gaming forum. The only thing Mia and think to do is call the local Sheriff who recommends she get a bodyguard for a while and he will report it to the FBI to investigate. Mia has never had this happen before but luckily Sheriff Adam gives her Luca's name and number as he had met him at his brother-in-laws wedding. As Luca has just finished his last job he flies in to start guarding Mia. Before he did though he did a bit of research on her and his Daddy kicked right in as soon as he saw the young, adorable and exuberant young woman who he just knew was a Little. Then when he meets her at the airport he finds out she is not only a Little but also is feisty, has an opinion and is not afraid to speak her mind to him. It is enough for him to want to spank her little bottom and then have all sorts of fun.
This is a nicely written, fun, witty and fast paced story. The characters are likeable but do not have any depth. They also really quickly jump right into a full blown relationship without any type of connection between them beforehand. But the book was still a good read and not heavily into Daddy/Little play.

This was an extremely quick read and fast paced, I enjoyed the characters and the instant attraction and chemistry between them. Mia is a professional Gamer and does very well for herself but the problem is that she is a girl and the guys don’t like losing to her and are very intimidated. Now that her address was leaked onto the internet the threats are thick and fast the police are short staffed and recommended that she get a bodyguard for now until they catch the person involved. Luca is a bodyguard for hire and is in between jobs at the moment and to help a friend out he takes on a new job protecting Mia she is professional gamer and has received death threats but what Luca didn’t expect when meeting her was that she was gorgeous a real beauty and so small compared to him and makes him want to protect Daddy’s little girl, wow where did his mind just go besides she is to young and wouldn’t be interested in a old guy. Hot Dam this Luca guy is so sexy and I’m glad he is protecting me and all I want to do is call him Daddy and be his little girl but what would he want with someone like me a boring gamer anyway I shouldn’t be having these sexy thoughts about my bodyguard. Can Luca keep his hands off her and keep her safe until the threat is over or does the explosive chemistry between them make that impossible and he fails. To find out get this quick read you will love it.

Primal Body Guard is the fifth book in Scott Wylder’s Daddy’s Little Girl series. Readers meet Mia, a professional gamer, and Luca, a bodyguard. Destiny brings these two together when Mia’s personal address is made public by a hacker. Subsequently, she receives a slew of threats—amongst them a few death threats. Once again, Mr. Wylder strong female lead- characters wounded with emotional scars. They embrace fake bravado attitudes and barely navigate their daily existence. In so doing, they evoke the protective and possessive streaks in their strong, dynamic, and alpha male lead characters, some of which are also emotionally wounded. Mr. Wylder penned another appealing character-drive plot with this age-play novella. It is a quick read capturing the magnetism of love at first sight. Readers get to witness their romantic journey as they discover the healing power of falling in love. I found these characters appealing and enjoyed258 chemistry between them.

Scott Wylder has written a 5-star short book. This is the story about Mia and Luca. Luca is a bodyguard and is called to protect Mia. She is a gamer and someone has sent her a message that is threatening. When she picks him up at the airport, he thinks she is cute. Once they reach her home, he tells her to let him go in first to check things out. On his check, he finds out she is a Little. Things happen between them and they sleep together. The sheriff calls and tells them that they have the person who sent the message to her. She has a conference to go to and Luca is there with her. He sees a security guard pulling a gun and pointed it at Mia. He stops the guy and he gets shot.
Will Luca stay with Mia and become her Daddy to her Little?
This was a wonderful and fast read and I would recommend it to anyone.

Mia was a social media star with a bullseye on her back when she is targeted by a fanatic and her personal information leaked online. Luca was between gigs and the job sounded simple enough but when he saw the body he was to guard his daddy instincts kicked into high gear. Before long neither one could deny the attraction they had been fighting and when Mia's stalker sends another barb they find themselves in lockdown - together. This is a very short story with an uncomplicated plot. The key here is that the story is so short that it is difficult to either fully form the characters and for the reader to believe that they have reached that 'ever after' stage. This was an enjoyable enough read. I liked the tiny itty bitty bit of Primal kink mixed in with the Daddy Dom. I wish there was more than just that one tiny thing, but I appreciated that it was included since it was right there in the title.
The plot was ok. The sex was what I’m coming to realize is classic Scott Wylder. Steamy, but not the best sex I’ve ever read.

Something I’m noticing and finding a bit annoying is that, in the blurb they make it seem like therell be all this resistance from the male character because of his job, and then there just isn’t. It’s just a simple “Will you be my, Daddy?” “Yeah of course.” And then that’s it. And the other books I’ve read from him have that same problem.

I don’t know. It was just alright.
I’ll read more from him, but I won’t be expecting much.

The Sheriff recommends Luca as a bodyguard until the culprits can be found. These two have an instant attraction. He is a Daddy and she is a Little. Amid trying to keep her safe they fall hard and fast for each other. This was an enjoyable short love story. Luca realizes that he can no longer deny what he wants. Mia has found the perfect Daddy that she had dreamed of. I look forward to reading more of these short but steamy love stories that Scott writes.

I like very much this story. Mia was a YouTube celebrity in the game area and she began to receive death threats. She contacted the Sheriff of the town and he recommended Luca to work as his bodyguard. Once they met, the connection was immediate and both loved the interaction between them. I like that she respected the recommendations Luca made to keep her safe. He was a Daddy and she was a Little One. After a really bad threat they decided to be together but he was worried about her safe. Luca never failed Mia and kept her safe even though he had to risk her own life. I loved the characters and the plot. Nice book to read.

Mia is a gamer that the guys are intimidated by and not happy to lose too. She has had death threats to her since someone let her address out on the internet. Now she is in need of the police to protect her. Problem is they are short staffed, and she is in need for a private bodyguard. Luca is between jobs and takes the job to protect Mia as a favor for a friend. When they met they both think the other is for them but keep it to themselves, not thinking the other would be interested in the other. Things get dicey and Luca ends up being her Daddy while Mia is is little girl. Can these two have a HEA with her being threatened and also with each of their jobs?

Mia is an online gamer. She's very busy and she doesn't have time for the stalker who's outted her address online and caused all kinds of crazies to come after her. She had to get a bodyguard. Wow, what a bodyguard, Luca. This Little has no idea that her new bodyguard might be a Daddy. Luca takes one look at this little girl and he wants to be her Daddy. He knows he's just there for a job and when it's over he'll leave, but he doesn't want it to be that way. A short read, but with Wylder, it's a satisfying read.

Gamer Mia starts getting threats she hires bodyguard Luca.
Professional gamer Mia is shocked to find her address had been put up online and that she was getting a stream of abusive and violently graph threats so she calls the Sheriff. He suggests hiring a bodyguard and when she asks if he can recommend one gives her a phone number. Mia picks up Luca the big buff older man from the airport and finds herself feeling safe sitting next to him in the car. Luca is a Daddy and once he sees Mia he hopes she is a Little so seeing all the soft toys then the adult diapers in her home confirms what he suspected.

Mia is an online gamer streamer who has lost her privacy. Someone hacked and found her phone number and real address and posted it on-line. No she is getting tons of nasty e-mails and phone calls. Since the sheriff department is short handed, the sheriff recommends that she hire a body guard and gives her the contact information. Mia is worried about letting the bodyguard get too close. She is a Little with her stuffies and wearing a diaper. She really wishes right now that she had a Daddy to protect and comfort her. Then she meets Luca. He is comforting, bossy and protective. Could he be her Daddy?

This is a very nice short romance with a very protective bodyguard Daddy who takes care of his little customer who is under threat from some Internet wackos. I liked that Mia was true to herself and when scared curled up with her stuffy. Both characters felt realistic and their relationship was fast, but felt honest. The world building surrounding Mia's job and the gaming world with streaming also felt realistic. Nice job overall. I did not notice any grammar issues that impacted the story negatively. The writing was easy to read and the romance was sweet.

Mia is a professional real-time online gamer and she is getting threats after someone leaked her address online. Needing a bodyguard, she contacts Luca and he comes to her aid right away. Secretly they are both into the Daddy Dom/little girl lifestyle and once they both know, they are even more protective of each other. The threats become real, more than once, but their bond helps them through. The characters are passionate and determined. Loved the ending and can not wait to read more of this series.

i read this book as part of an arc program. Mia is a gamer who is getting threats on her life, so she hires a bodyguard named Luca. When Luca meets Mia, he is attracted to her, but he vows to stay professional, until he discovers she is a little. When Mia asks Luca to protect her, he gets very protective of her and doesn't want to be without her. Luca is a Daddy and he has strong feelings for Mia and when he realizes she feels the same about him, he knows they belong together. i liked this book, i liked Luca, he tried to keep things professional, but his feelings were too strong. I like how Mia knew she could trust him from the beginning. Good one.

Protecting His Love -
Mia finds herself in the midst of chaos, when a nut-job posts her home address on the internet and she starts getting threats. Luca did expect to meet the love of his life, when he accepted the protection job. This is a really intriguing and steamy page turner, that you will be very happy to spend a few hours devouring. Bravo Scott Wylder! This is definitely another brilliant book to add to the collection.

This is by far my favorite of the "Daddy" Genre so far. I am still a newbie to the Genre but have read about 10 in the genre and This is my favorite.. Its short, sweet, and innocent. I was into the book from the moment I started reading. It could be that my husband and I are gamers that stream from time to time- so I totally understood every aspect of the story. I felt like the author knew what he was writing about like he him self was a streamer or someone close to him is in the field.

I won't fault the book because it did say "ABDL" in the preview... I just didn;t know what that meant. I just can;t wrap my head around an adult wanting to wear a diaper and when they go into "Little space". That's just too much for me. But if I take those things out of this book, it was an entertaining story that I thought was enjoyable. I like the age gap romances, even the Daddy scenerio just not to the extreme.
( I will say the ABDL info in this book was not graphic or even discussed excessively, so to me that was a good thing. )

I love bodyguard romance, so I was excited to read by Primal Bodyguard Daddy Scott Wylder. Mia is gamer by profession and being a female she expects the occasional threat. But now she has a stalker and when the police cannot help, they suggest a bodyguard. Luca agrees to be her bodyguard but he has no idea how life is about to chance. Luca is a Daddy and he is surprised to learn that Mia is a little. As they spend time together, they fall hard and fast. Can Luca keep his little one safe and will they get their HEA?

Bodyguard Luca was what Mia needed when threats against her began to arrive. She was already a Little so what would not be her surprise when she found out that he was a Daddy. But the threat did not seem to end, and her life was at stake. Interesting gamer theme, entertaining narratives, some action, suspense, danger, DDLG and passion. Loved the book it was great, the story was written well and the characters were interesting. Scott Wylder has outdone himself again, this whole series so far has been amazing and this book with Mia and Luca. Mia has been getting threats and being stalked so she hired a bodyguard to protect her, Luca is a Daddy and he has a feeling she is a Little and he will do anything to protect her. It was hot and steamy, arousing, pleasurable and many more feelings.

Luca is hired by Mia who is an online gamer and she has been hacked and someone has put all her information out there and she starts receiving threats. Luca knows he needs to keep things professional but he is instantly drawn to her and knows she is a little.
This was a good storyline that packs drama, action and steam. Nice addition to the series.
