This was a cute super short Daddy story. Dylan is Evie’s brother introduced in the previous book. He met Mindy in Maine where she worked as a waitress. He came in the diner for about a week straight just to see Mindy.

Now it’s been a few months (I think?) and Mindy had an issue with her boss, just quit her job, and she’s taking a break in an AirBnB for a week in Knoxville. And Dylan just so happens to live next door.

Dylan just got out of the military so he has some issues, but so does Mindy. They kind of take care of each other even though Dylan is the Daddy. It’s super cute.

Loved the epilogue. We had a brief mention of Evie there too. I love how these books casually introduce the next book’s MC in a brief way but also connect them to the current story. I also love seeing the previous characters mentioned in the new books too. Can’t wait to read the next.

These books are just a super short and light read but I enjoy them in between longer books. I’d give this one a 3.5⭐️ Same as the previous book.

From Bangor to Knoxville....they finally make a connection

Possessive Daddy Soldier is the fourth book in the Daddy's Little Girl series and is the story of Dylan and Mindy.
Mindy has just quit her job as a server at the diner located at the Bangor International Airport. She quit because her boss, the owner's son, too one liberty too many. She decided she needed to get away to figure out what she wanted to do next so she ended up flying to Knoxville and renting a small cottage AirBnB for a week.
Dylan is retired from the military but he still suffers from PTSD from his overseas deployments. When he originally flew back to the states several months ago it was through Bangor. There he stopped at the diner in the airport and took a liking to the sweet young waitress. So much so that he stayed in town for a week and would go to the diner each day just to see and talk with her.
Both Mindy and Dylan are surprised, but also maybe a bit hopeful, when they discover that the are neighbors for the next week while Mindy is on vacation. They each find there is a pull towards each other and an attraction that they cannot really deny. Has this Daddy found his perfect little girl that will help him to deal with his PTSD. Will Mindy become Dylan's lg and he her Daddy, even though she has never heard of this before?

Une jolie histoire.

J’aime bien cette petite série, des tomes rapides et complets.

J’avais déjà rencontré Dylan dans un précédent tome, et j’avais aimé sa prévenance envers sa sœur. En prime, j’aime bien les romances qui incluent des militaires, je ne pouvais donc que profiter pleinement de cet opus. Et ce fut le cas.

Pour une fois, j’ai aimé le personnage masculin autant que le personnage féminin. Ce tome est très sensible, justement dosé, parfaitement rédigé. Dylan est un soldat toujours en alerte malgré la fin de son service et je l’ai trouvé très touchant. On le sent profondément marqué par son ancien métier de militaire et je me suis immédiatement attachée à lui. J’ai tout de suite su qu’il serait parfait pour Mindy car très protecteur. Mindy, elle, est une jeune femme fragilisé par les agressions répétées de son gros dégueulasse de patron et la fuite est la seule solution qu’elle a trouvé pour lui échapper. Retrouver Dylan, un visage familier, la rassure énormément et lui redonne l’espoir.

Le récit est rapide mais complet. Comme à chaque tome, 45 pages d’une histoire d’amour juste adorable, où l’acceptation de soit et de l’autre est traité avec justesse et douceur. Les précédents personnages font toujours une petite apparition rapide et c’est bon de savoir que tout va bien pour eux.

Dylan has been serving in the military. During his years of service he saw a lot to give him nightmares. Now he is out and struggling to adjust. On his way home he stopped off in Maine and met a waitress in the airport diner. He was so attracted to Mindy he extended his stay for a week. He enjoyed talking to her . After about a week, he left feeling that he was too old and messed up for a young woman like her. Plus he was a Daddy Dom and she wouldn't be interested in that kink. A few months later he is still adjusting to civilian life but is struggling with nightmares and feeling danger around every corner. Hearing noise from the house next door that has been empty for a long time startles him but he is really surprised to see Mindy is staying there. Maybe this is his second chance.

Mindy has been struggling for a while. She never went to college so the only jobs she is qualified for is waitressing. When she worked at the airport diner, the manager kept harassing her and being too touchy. She was too afraid of losing her job to tell him to back off. The only part of her job she enjoyed was the week she talked with Dylan. She hoped they could have a real relationship but he left. Then a few months later, her boss assaulted her and she was lucky to escape before he could rape her. She swore never to return and is spending a week at a rented house to plan her future. To her surprise Dylan is her neighbor. His size and power should scare her but he makes her feel safe and protected.

Mindy was on a vacation in Knoxville but it was more of a change of scenery after having quit her job. Dylan was a soldier home from the wars and suffering for the affects of PTSD, the only bright spot since he'd come back was the waitress at the cafe in the airport who had caught his attention. To both their surprises, they found themselves neighbors. Dylan finds himself an unexpected hero after a fire with Mindy staying with him. Their attraction triggers the Daddy in him and when he explains the DDlg dynamics Mindy is fascinated rather than repulsed. Oh, the heat is HOT, and the physical chemistry is captivating so be careful you may just get burned all the heat coming off these pages. There were some "oh no" "oh wow" " what the what" moments and add in uncanny mishaps, and shenanigans the good kind that makes you keep turning the pages till last page has been turned. When ghost from the past and wars from the past come that is Dylan’s daily life fighting the ghost, war, hurt, and lost friends/brothers. Mindy doesn’t trust easily well she doesn’t trust at all due to past disappointments, distrust and hurt all at the hands of someone who was supposed to love you. She moves in next door to Dylan, but can they help heal each other and give each other what is needed maybe along the way they will find their HEA.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the story of ex soldier Dylan and Mandy, a young woman who used to work at the airport cafe. Dylan used to fly in and out of the airport and flirted with Mandy, but then he retired and now lives in Knoxville. Mandy quit her job after her boss got too hands on with her and she decides to go away for a vacation, so she rented an AirBnB. Mandy is shocked to find her neighbor is Dylan, the man she keeps dreaming about. Dylan suffers from PTSD and wants to be a Daddy to Mandy, but he worries if she can handle it. I really like how they found each other again.. I think Mandy helped Dylan as much as he helped her. I loved their chemistry and their connection. Good one.

Mr. Wylder introduces readers to Mindy, an adorable and vulnerable LG, and Dylan, a former soldier suffering from a form of PTSD. There is an instant attraction between these two. Mindy awakens his protective and possessive streaks causing him to want to take care of her and keep her safe. Can he?

Once again, readers find another appealing character-drive plot with this age-play novella. This book is a quick read capturing the magnetism of love at first sight. Readers get to witness their romantic journey as they discover the healing power of falling in love. I found these characters appealing and enjoyed chemistry between them.

When Dylan and Mindy first met they were strangers, but they were surprised when kismet brought them back into each other’s lives again. Mindy needed protection and Dylan needed someone to love and protect. They realised they were each half of the same coin, but it would take spending time together and overcoming their painful pasts to allow them to have a happy ending. The heartwarming and heartfelt romance will definitely take you through a myriad of emotions, but will surely leave you wanting more.

This is a real quick read, ideal for a short trip while you’re not driving (bus/subway/train), just don’t let anybody read over your shoulder. Told from alternating viewpoints, Dylan is a recently dishonorably discharged serviceman with some PTSD issues. Mindy recently quit her waitress job due to abuse from her boss. They initially meet at the restaurant she worked at and then coincidentally ended up next door to each other in a different city. Dylan’s dominant daddy persona coupled with Mindy’s desire to be a “little” help them overcome their issues. A little spanking, a lot of sex, and a little hint of what the next book will be about. Could have been so much more…… 3.5 Stars

This is the story of Mandy and Dylan. They met while she was working as a waitress and he was a client. She liked her really much but after couple days going to the restaurant he felt her different and distant. He thought she was scared of him. But she rented the cabin next to him for a week and they reconnected. They opened to each other and helped each other to deal with their own demons and disturbing past. The story is nice. The characters are sweet and nice. I loved this short story of second chances.

This book brings us Dylan and Mindy. Dylan and Mindy knew each other, as Dylan used to come in to where Mindy worked as a waitress and always sat at her station. He would bring a smile to Mindy's face. Mindy hated her waitress job as her boss kept hitting on her. Dylan has served in the military and upon his return home, he finds himself not knowing what he wants to do with his life. He is struggling with reoccurring nightmares, and he realizes he doesn't know what to do with his life. Shockingly, Mindy moves next door to Dylan, and he becomes possessive of her. He is exactly what Mindy needs and she loves the protectiveness he shows her. This was a good read and I do recommend it.

Daddy needs a little. This is a really sweet Daddy/little, age play, instant love romance.
After being mistreated by her boss, Mindy rents a cottage for a week to try to figure out what to do next. Her rental happens to be next door to Dylan, a soldier she met at her job. Dylan suffers from PTSD and needs a little but doesn't think he can take care of one. Mindy needs Dylan to feel safe. When her former boss show up, Dylan proves he CAN be a Daddy and Mindy IS his little. Can they really make this work?

He heads home and surprise, after the boss goes after Mindy, she rents a house and leaves the area for Knoxville, where she becomes his next door neighbor. Now the romance heats up and they decide to give it a try and then some. Their connection is heartfelt and trusting, which they both really need. Surprises and twists, like a fire, give way to situations that bring them closer together in the end. Well done.

This was enjoyable.
If you’re sensitive to anything having to do with sexual harassment/abuse, I’d say proceed with caution. She talks about a trauma that happens not too far back. It’s not an explicit retelling, but even I teared up at all the emotions swirling around.

It had an ok, if a little scantily detailed, plot.
The sex was steamy and actually present in this one. The DD/lg aspect was ok, no glaring flaws in the dynamic that I could tell. Though there wasn’t any time to let Mindy have some little time with how short the book was.

Definitely no Laylah Roberts, but definitely not terrible if you’re in the market for a short, light, Daddy Dom romance.

With the demons of war still haunting him, Dylan was having a hard time adjusting to civilian life until he found his Little. Abused by her vulnerability Mindy remains disappointed and distrustful, but she finds what she desperately needed, to be protected and loved. Interesting and entertaining story with two vulnerable protagonists, romance and passion. I voluntarily reviewed this copy which I received free from Booksprout.

This story is about Dylan and Mindy. Mindy left her job and is renting a place trying to find out what her next step will be with her life. She sees Dylan doing push up on the back porch next door. Holy hotness this book was absolutely great and I absolutely loved it. Book 4 of this DD/lg series is, unfortunately, pretty much the same as Book 3, just change the names and the circumstances. Even the PTSD feels too warm and fuzzy on its resolution, and I know that isn't the case. It's more of a short story rather than a novella. If it weren't for the fact that I have KU, I doubt I would have read beyond Book 1.

I'm reading this series in order and was wondering if Evie's brother was a Daddy. I find out he is and how he found his Little One. It was sweet that they had known each other before and then finding they were neighbors. That they helped each other through their personal anxieties and found their HEA was nice.
