جو ہماری چیزیں ہوتی ہیں وہ ہمیں ہی ملتی ہیں۔ انکی حفاظت فرشتے ہمارے لیے کرتے ہیں۔
Finished this book just now. And I'm literally in tears. This book made me cry on so many points. And I haven't cried reading for years.
The book that shakes your ideas about the hajj! The hajj that was just a big set of sacred rituals with a mystic history that involves some toilsome practices for me, is now one of the most important thing on my bucket lists.
When we think of prayers and success and achievements and whish to do something with life, we have our own timings in life. Our own ways imagined to get our dreams fulfilled. We just wait for a yes from the divine decree.
We forget that nothing happens on our timing or following our desired patterns. Sometimes prayers might take years to be fulfilled. And we might lose temporary happiness for the sake of them. But in the end, it will be worth it. With all of the bittersweet feeling for all of the hardships, reckless times, cruel people and unfair treatments of life in the past, you'd have your most beloved prayers in front of you and it would make your heart smile.
This book tells you how unfair we are towards the people of sinful pasts repented and moving on with pious lives. And how man is the worst enemy of man. And how we forget to treasure the beauty of humanity and run for other worldly possessions.
Oh my God! My review seems so simple. I really am spellbound by the beauty of this book.
If I could tell how beautiful it is that it's making my heart ache at this moment while thinking about its beauty. About how rudely awakening it is towards the love for our Creator.

There are few authors who i love so much that i can read their grocery list, Sumera hameed is one of them ugh the chokehold she has on me is unreal.
I LOVE HER HER WRITING AND THE WAY SHE PORTRAYS WOMEN, you can tell that she truly loves women ❤️

It has exceeded my expectations. This book is more than perfect I've never felt so alive while reading something.
this book is an experience, every character felt so damn close to my heart i can't explain I'll forever cherish them.

I loveee ibn e musa my sweetheart he really is something because the way he never held Jannat, aziza and amna's past against them always treated them with respect and after losing them he actually held himself accountable and thought he has failed his job of (ameer e karwan). Was ready to give up his position because he thought he no longer deserve it 😭 he's so good to be true.

This is one of my favourite novels,and one of the best novels by sumaira hameed. Short story yet impactful. It deserves all the attention. Sumaira Hameed's way of writing is unique and mesmerizing. I just adore the way she describes everything in her Novels, she is so underrated!
Tawaf e ishq, A story of the time when people used to go for journeys on camels. The story is based on Egypt(cairo). Three friends Aziza,Amna and Jannat who were formerly tawaif but they repented and accepted Islam in the hands of Darvesh who took them with him and they started to live with the old darvesh his wife & their children. They started practicing their deen (religion).They had a wish they wanted to go for hajj but they also knew that if people got to know about their past they won't accept and allow them.(Allah maaf kar deta hai, magar insaan nahi karta - yakeen ka safar) We People often judge others by their past. But somehow they were allowed to go with the caravan for hajj but they have to keep their identities as secret only the Leader of Traveler group (meer e karvan) knows about it. But in the middle of the journey there awaits for them something devastating , a journey different from the other caravans who are going for pilgrimage a journey of sacrifice, patience,trust & strong faith in Allah, somehow their past identity were know and they were not allowed to do Hajj as they were not considered pious, and they were sold in the market ( this part 💔), They went through so much but their faith was always firm, with all that they went in the end 3 of them become much more stronger they have succeeded in their test by Allah Almighty while mankind has failed . Also The character of Darvesh and his home scenes were beautifully portrayed. I also loved the character of Murad & Ibn musa his loyalty and how he waits for them all this year .
A must read for everyone, you'll definitely love it !

This story isn't just about the 3 beautiful ladies and their way to Iman , Kabba and love , its every human's journey to find themselves,
Ham insaan itni choti choti cheezun pe khud ko aziyat dedete hai, lakin ye bhool jate hai ki ye dunya ek Imtihaan hai, hume Allah ko bhi muh dikhana hai, ye sab kuch nhi rehna wala , rehna wala tu sirf Allah hai.

طواف عشق:
جو سفر پر نکلتا ہے وہ منزل تک ضرور پہنچتا ہے بشرطیکہ منزل تک پہنچنے کی تڑپ سچی ہو۔یہ کہانی ہے سچی تڑپ رکھنے والی تین لڑکیوں آمنہ، جنت اور عزیزہ کی، جو کہ تین طوائفیں تھیں مگر ایک درویش کی دعوت ہدایت پر تائب ہوئیں اور اپنی باقی ماندہ زندگی اللہ کی رضا کے مطابق گزارنے کا عہد کیا۔ یہ اس زمانے کے داستان ہے جب لوگ حج کے لیے امیر حج کی سربراہی میں قافلوں کی صورت میں سفر کیا کرتے تھے۔ ان تینوں نے بھی حج کی نیت کی اور سفر پر چل پڑیں مگر یہ بھول گئیں کہ توبہ کرنے والوں کو اللہ تو معاف کر دیتا ہے مگر زمانہ نہیں کرتا۔ وہ نہ تو خود دوسروں کا ماضی بھولتا ہے اور نہ ہی انہیں بھولنے دیتا ہے۔ ان تینوں کے ساتھ بھی یہی ہوا۔ طوائف کو طوائف سمجھنا آسان اور طوائف اب طوائف نہیں رہی تسلیم کرنا مشکل ہے۔ ہر ناپاک شے پاک ہو سکتی ہے لیکن طوائف کا دل نہیں۔ ایسا فرض کر لیا گیا ہے۔
کاررواں پر بدوؤں کا حملہ ہوتا ہے اور اسی دوران یہ انکشاف ہوتا ہے کہ اس کاررواں میں تین طوائفیں بھی شامل ہیں۔ بدوؤں کے حملے کو ان طوائفوں کی نحوست تصور کر کے انہیں کاررواں سے بے دخل کر دیا جاتا ہے اور ڈاکوؤں کے حوالے کر دیا جاتا ہے۔ ڈاکوؤں کا سردار انہیں منڈی لے جا کر کوڑیوں کے مول بیچ دیتا ہے اور یہاں سے ان تینوں کا کڑی آزمائش کا سفر شروع ہوتا ہے جو کہ سات سال پہ محیط ہوتا ہے۔ یہ سات سال ان کی سعی کا زمانہ ہے۔ ان سات سالوں میں وہ زندگی کے تلخ ترین تجربوں سے گزرتیں ہیں۔ دنیا کی سفاک حقیقتوں کا سامنا کرتی ہیں مگر پھر بھی ثابت قدم رہتی ہیں اور بالآخر اپنی منزل پر پہنچ جاتیں ہیں۔ کیونکہ اللہ تعالی اپنے بندے کا مقام بلند کرنے کے لیے ہی اسے آزمائشوں سے گزارتا ہے۔
مہر میراں:
مہر میراں دو مختلف زمانوں سے تعلق رکھنے والی لڑکیوں کی موسیقی سے عشق کی کہانی ہے۔ موسیقی سے ان کا یہ عشق دونوں کو امر کر دیتا ہے مگر فرق صرف اتنا ہے کہ مہر اس عشق کی قیمت اپنی جان دے کر چکاتی ہے تو میراں اس عشق کی خاطر ہر داؤ کھیل کر کامیاب ہو جاتی ہے۔
برہا بہاگ کی مینا:
یہ کہانی غربت کی چکی میں پستے فنکار گھرانے میں پیدا ہونے والی مینا کی ہے جس نے یتیم خانے کی سیڑھیوں پر مہ جبین ناز کی حیثیت سے آنکھ کھولی اور اپنا بچپن قربان کر کے اپنے دور کی سب سے کم عمر، حسین اور کامیاب اداکارہ مینا کماری بنی۔ مگر اس شہرت کی اس نے قدم قدم پر بہت بڑی قیمت چکائی۔
سمیرا کی کہانیوں کی سب سے اچھی بات یہ ہے کہ ان کی کہانیوں کے موضوعات متنوع ہوتے ہیں۔ عام طور پر لکھاریوں کے لکھنے کا انداز اور موضوعات بھی کم و بیش ایک جیسے ہوتے ہیں مگر ان کی ہر کہانی دوسری کہانی سے بہت مختلف ہوتی ہے۔ کہانیوں میں موضوعات سے متعلق ان کی معلومات بھی خاصی وسیع ہوتی ہیں جس سے پڑھنے والے کی معلومات میں بھی خاصا اضافہ ہوتا ہے۔

Tawaf e ishq, ishq e haqeeqi ki intehaa, bahaduri ki intehaa, zulm o jabar ki inteha, sabr o shukar Allah ki zaat pe yaqeen ki intehaa!!
This book has my heart my soul! I cried like crazy, but I also smiled through the tears. Even now, some lines randomly come to mind and make my heart ache and soar at the same time. Hajj ka itnaa taweel safar shayad hi Kisi ne Tay kiyaa hogaa and I want to read this again and again and againnn.

This book has my heart my soul! I cried like crazy, but I also smiled through the tears. Even now, some lines randomly come to mind and make my heart ache and soar at the same time. Hajj ka itnaa taweel safar shayad hi Kisi ne Tay kiyaa hogaa and I want to read this again and again and againnn.

Excellent theme. Sumaira Hameed is writer of love and she writes it so beautifully whether it be love of Allah or love of mankind. After an extended period, I've encountered something exquisite that goes beyond the conventional hero and heroine narrative.
Girls love for Hajj as well as the beautiful scenes of desert , it was all beautiful. Girls have succeeded in their test by Allah Almighty while mankind has failed.

Uff such a beautiful and heart warming novel. This is my first Sumera Hameed's novel that I read and I can say she is such a brilliant writer in spiritual writing. The novel was fast paced, it wasn't dragged at all. Azeeza, Aamna and Jannat are literally well written specially Azeeza, strongest among them. The theme, I really liked how she portrayed old egypt with so much details, like I was imagining each and every scene in front of my eyes.
Journey of Hajj, ishq e haqeeqi, ishq e tawaf, ishq e baitullah, ohhh all are so amazingly expressed, I am really impressed with author's work. I have no words to explain how much I liked it.
I found some flaws when writer was explaining some past scene transitions, It was a little bit confusing. But still Its a best peace of work, at the end it made me too emotional, the Journey of three girls who left everything for Allah SWT and remained on HAQ. They didnt loose their courage and determination.
Beautiful... its a must read. Go Ahead & enjoy the old time Journey of Hajj.

Yeh us zamany ki Kahani hai jab log Hajj k liye ek qafaly ki surat Mai گھوڑوں aur اونٹوں par jatay . Ek khubsurat Kahani hai teen ladkiyon ki aur unkay sabr ki .unky struggles ki aur kis tarah wo bait ullah Chali jati hain. Intehayi khubsurati se likhi hai sumaira hameed ne. Must read it 🌻

- this book was sooo beautiful, oh. this felt like the one book which you need the time to absorb as u r reading it, cos its so beautiful, and so hopeful. almost like a bandaid for ur aching soul. i loved the depths of some dialogues sm, and oh, i love the girls, aziza, amna and jannat, they are angel babies :)) my heart ached for them but ahh, they were the definition of resilience.

The book is too good.The story,the plot each and every thing is top notch.
Like the story keeps grip from start to end.Like I am not really into historical fiction but it keeps me interested till end.

I don't have words for how beautiful the writing style is in this book.
This isn't my first book of Sumaira and the writing style is what motivated me read her other works but the story of this book is the one I will never forget it's so heartbreakingly beautiful. I recommend this book to everyone, it's a must read.
