Listen 👂 and listen good..

This book was incredible!! An amazing follow up to book one.. this one surpassed its predecessor beautifully, when it comes to the plight and circumstance surrounding Dragon and his Tari. Their chemistry, from the first moment they interact, was explosive. On point, and never dwindled.
I LOVE Dragon 🐲 and Tari together. And I love them both equally as individuals. And their baby girl, Lali?! Oooh I just wanted to eat her up!!😍🥰😇

This story was even more heartbreaking for me, compared to book 1. The subject matter in both are gut wrenching, yes, but this one really got to me even more on an emotional level. What happens to Tari on many occasions throughout this story will gut you.
This one is chock full of frightening circumstance and heartbreaking outcomes.
But it will also put your heart to rights again, making it fuller as well..

This one is beyond sexy, intense, intriguing, and scary..
I also loved that we get to see even more of the Dark Sons in their military mode in the action sequences here in this story. And Sharp using his Sniper skills so freaking hot 🔥

Now, I have to get to the things that bothered me here. Things that had I not loved this story so much, would have caused me to drop a star 🌟 in my rating.. things that should have been caught before publication with many Beta/editors handling these books. I think I mentioned in my review for book one, that the author couldn't decide which color eyes she wanted Sharp and Hawk to have, so they kept switching between brown and blue.. Very annoying..

Here for book two though there were other things.👇👇👇

In book one, Val told Pixie that she and Dozer met when she was 19 and that they've been together for 10 yrs. Well here in book two, it's they met when she was 20 and they've only been together 8 or 9 yrs.. Also, there were two instances where a character is mentioned to be in a scene, that wasn't supposed to be there. There was a scene when Tari and Dragon are speaking in his room at the clubhouse, but all of sudden it's Sharp touching her leg and not Dragon.

The other scene happens later in the final intense scenes of the book, where it wasn't clear when, why, or who this other guy is, that suddenly is in the room, cause he's mentioned by name by Tari that we've never heard her use before or mention, and you have no idea who it is or how he even got in the room. But all of a sudden he's just there and makes a major move that changes/affects the outcome for Tari..even though later its said who it actually was, cause his road name is used. But before this, you never knew what his actual first name is. So how did Tari know it? And again, how did he magically appear amongst all these guns in this big open room??.. All these things serve to pull the reader (me) out of the story to annoyance and confusion. I REALLY don't like when this happens. Especially when it's an awesome story that I'm truly enthralled with.

🗣🗣 All I'm saying is Betas/ARC readers/ Editors, you're doing our authors no favors by not pointing these errors out. You do awesome story tellers like Ann here, a dis-service to their craft when you don't point these things out during the writing process... Mistakes happen. So, there's grace from time to time. But this is unacceptable when it happens on this scale consistently, with so many people reading the same story before it's released. When the reader can easily, and quickly recognize these issues? Smh.. Not good.

Based on books 1 and 2, I would definitely recommend this series. I hope this awesome trend continues with Tek's story, book 3.. Cause I'm heading there now🤭

STORY:
This is a good followup to book 1, (Saved by the Dark). In that story, we met Dragon who is Military but is also a part of the MC Dark Sons. I love Dragon, all 6’6”. From the moment he meets Tari, you can’t help feeling enthralled with him. The way he felt about her after 1 encounter was good, and it shows. Tari is strong and a survivor. I really love her character, and I am also in love with both characters being multiracial. Book 1, they were always at the MC compound. Book 2, the scenes are all over, but you are still getting the feel of a MC brotherhood.

CHEMISTRY:
Chemistry was good. Both characters pull you in and it was good seeing them interact again years after their one-night stand.

SECONDARY CHARACTERS
We got to see Pixie and Sharp also from book 1 and it was good seeing them again. We also got to see more MC brothers as they were coming together for Tari, Dragon and their baby.

Overall, a good follow up, and I enjoyed it. I got a little mystery, action and a look at second chance at love/lust.

**Triggers: violent attack

***I don’t equate these stories to real life. It’s about personal taste and what you would or want to tolerate with the books you read. I know we all have different opinions and preferences with what we read and hope this review was helpful.

Saved by the Dark is a tough act to follow but Ann Jensen has created a tight knit MC world that is bursting with action, suspense, unique personalities, engaging plots, heart melting romance and naughty kink of every flavor to keep everyone happy 😊

Dragon and Tari’s story blew me away! It starts two years before, when they meet at a bar and share one night together, (the night before Dragon - a Navy SEAK - is being deployed). Things happen in a flash but they both recognize that they have something worth exploring and agree to meet up when Dragon returns.

But that plan is quickly sabotaged when Tari ends up pregnant and her religious family kick her out and disown her. She never got Dragon’s real name and the only phone number he had to contact her was the phone her parents took away when they kicked her out. So she's left pregnant and alone in a punishing twist of fate.

With no other family or friends to lean on, Tari has her baby and does everything she can to keep them both fed, housed and clothed, completely on her own.

When a chance encounter leads Tari back to Dragon, Dragon is 100% ready to claim his woman. It's been two years, but Dragon hasn't forgotten about Tari and still thinks about her and what could have been, every day. Finding out he has a daughter with the one that got away is a shock, especially when he almost looses Tari in the same night!

I loved Dragon, he was a badass with a heart of gold (which is the MO so far of AJ’s heroes in this series and I’m 100% okay with that!) If you like your Heroes with a romance streak a mile wide, brace yourselves for Dragon, no joke. He always knows what to say to make you melt and his reaction to finding out about Citlali, his little girl *sigh* it was perfect.

Then there’s Tari, she’s the type of heroine that pulls at your heart strings but also makes you love her for her vulnerability, big heart and backbone of steel. I loved that she fit right in with Val and Pixie 💖 and that she finds her forever family in an unconventional round-about way. It wasn't what she imagined for herself but the reality was better than anything she could have pictured before. Being part of the Dark Sons means always have someone in your corner. For someone who never had that kind of unquestionable loyalty, being accepted was a huge deal for her.

This book is a great addition to the series and I fell in love with Dragon and Tari pretty must instantly! These characters were people that you would want to call friend/family. The Dark Sons are fast becoming one of my all time favorite MC romance series! I am hooked and can't wait for more :)

Side note: I loved catching up with Val and her and then there was Pixie and Sharp!!!! I seriously love these two so much and seeing them together and in their happy place

Only downer:

Love this series!

Story: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Trope: secret baby/second chance
Angst: 😱😱😱
Smexy: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Super hot and fun read! Love secret baby trope and this one had a little twist with her subsequent amnesia. Also love the multi cultural aspect and the fact that the heroine was also tall. Might seem silly, but as a tall woman, its nice to read about a heroine that's the opposite of petite once in a while, lo!. Great storyline, likeable characters, and super hot smexy - everything needed for a great read!

I'm giving this 4 1/2 stars. Taking off half a star for lackluster proofreading/beta reading before release, because this takes away from my total enjoyment of what would be a great story without the errors. I will be going on to read the next book in the series.

Tari and Dragon share a steamy night together and she ends up pregnant and he has been deployed. Her family disowns her and she must support herself and her daughter. While working at a yoga studio she finds someone who knows her man but ends up putting herself in danger. Will Dragon come to the rescue? Fast-paced read with loads of drama, suspense and steam. Entertaining MC read.

Dropped into this series with Lost in the dark! I had no problem connecting the characters, to their roles, or putting together pieces of their past - though I seriously want to read the other brothers stories after meeting them

I was enthralled in the first chapter
The characters were vivid
The writing solid
I loved that Tari was not only intelligent but she was solid warrior material - the kind of woman that stands up for her beliefs even when it leaves her standing alone. I admit I cried during a couple of scenes.
Don't even get me started on Dragon
He is not only scrumptious but also emotionally perfect boyfriend material - He had my ovaries calling out for attention

A one night stand
A brief run-in with a client
Two moments that change Tari's life forever

This has a bit of everything
Family
Brotherhood
Cartel
Angst
Seedy bad guys
Suspense
Bloodshed
And yes
💘 some seriously steamy heart-melting romance

I enjoyed this one just as much as the first book. Once again great characters and story line. Dragon is also an alpha male but not as extreme as Sharp was - Dragon has a softer side. The one thing I didn't mention in my first books review was the fact that all of these men are ex military or still active which is an added bonus for me. Looking forward to the next one about Tek who has peaked my interest from the beginning.

I liked this. Both MC's were likeable, the plot moved along (even if it was sometimes cliché and unoriginal) and the sex was inventive and sexy. I think it lacked a bit of romance and intimacy though. It also had the very annoying plotting that includes sex while seriously injured and ignoring scars and injuries when convenient.

I will move onto the next book

Fantastic Story & Narration🎧 Riveting & Heartfelt!

Lost in the Dark
Dark Sons MC, Book 2
By: Ann Jensen
Narrated by: Gregory Salinas, Shammen McCune

Ann Jensen pens another amazing “Dark Sons MC” novel, the second book in the series but is written to stand on its own. Each book features a different member of the Dark Sons Motorcycle Club, characters crossover into each others book but the author details everything you need to know about them for you to not feel lost or that you missed something. The character development and world building is fantastic. This book is Nefertari “Tari” and Dragon’s story, the two met when Dragon was on leave from the Navy, he is a seal and was leaving for his next mission in three hours. There was an instant connection between them and their time together was unforgettable and smoking hot. He took her number and promised to call when he returned to the states. Tari got pregnant that night, her parents disowned her and left her to fend for herself. She tried to find how she could get in touch with Dragon, but she didn’t have his full name or contact info. She struggles to make ends meet but working two jobs she manages to get by. One of those job is teaching yoga at the Dark Zen, a spa with questionable activities which he did not get involved in. In an amazing twist, it is that job that brings Val, Dozer’s old lady, into her life. And when she tells her about her daughter’s father and learns that they know him she is both thrilled and afraid, afraid he won’t accept her and his daughter. But she had nothing to worry about, Dragon never forgot Tari and no one measured up to her since. Once he found her he was not going to let her go. Then she is attacked, she manages to call for help, but her injuries are severe and she loses some of her memory. The Dark Sons MC investigate why she was attacked and by who. I loved how everything played out in this book, it is a cleverly plotted story with plenty of drama, angst, mystery, thrilling suspense, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance. Ann Jensen, thank you for another great story and wild and thrilling emotional rollercoaster ride. Loved the lines at the start of each chapter too.

🎧📚🎧 And for the wonderful narration, Gregory Salinas and Shammen Mccune did an amazing job bringing these characters to life, humanizing them, giving each their own distinct voice and personality. They had a complete understanding of the characters they portrayed, sounding believable in every role they played and just as I pictured the characters to sound. Shammen McCune played Tori’s role with perfection, Gregory Salinas did the same for Dragon, both were great playing the secondary characters as well. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and projected them into his performance. These talented narrators and a versatile voice artists are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for this amazing listen.

Lost in the Dark is narrated by Gregory Salinas & Shammen McCune. This is the first time I have listened to either of these narrators and they are amazing. They truly brought this story to life!
Gregory's voice will give you chills...of the sexy kind. Shammen not only speaks in several different languages throughout this book, but also wide range of ages from toddler to older adult and doesn't miss a beat.

BOOK REVIEW:

Tari doesn't understand why she let her roommate talk her into joining her friends for a night out for an end of the semester celebration. She has nothing in common with these cheerleaders. She was so far from these trust fund babies it was laughable. After several hours and three dive bars she was ready to escape.

She had been "saved from savagery" by Christian missionaries who had adopted her and had traveled around the world until finally settling down a few years ago in a religious commune in Colorado. She was only attending college because her parents assumed she was going to be a missionary doctor. So not in her plans.

She looks at the team captain in shock when they tell her that they wanted to invite her to be on the cheerleading team. And then insult her by saying that they can't get any men to be their spotter and since she was so big they thought of her. Did they just compare her to a man because she was tall?

The gorgeous man at the bar that she has been eyeing all night laughs when he overhears her response to their insults and she joins him at the bar leaving those idiots behind.

Dragon is a Navy SEAL and leaving in the morning for a mission. When he asks if she'll spend the night with him she agrees. When she wakes in the morning he is gone. But he left her with a gift.

This is book two of the DARK SONS MC Series and it is just as action packed and full of danger as book one. I absolutely love Dragon! He is 6'6" of male perfection. He joined the Dark Sons after finishing his tour for the comradery and a place to belong.

Tari was headed for a degree in medicine when life takes a turn and her parents disowned her. Although she tried to locate Dragon, she didn't have a real name. Why did she not ask for his real name?

I really loved this story. After several years have gone by Tari finds out a co-worker knows who she is looking for and makes plans to get them together, but circumstances and life threatening danger keep them apart. This book is full of danger, suspense and smoking hot chemistry. Tari meets all our favorites from book one as they accept her as part of their family.

Ann Jensen has written another amazing story about this MC club and I can't wait to see what comes next! Highly recommend not only this book and series, but you definitely have to listen to the audiobooks!

Lost in the Dark is the second book in the Dark Sons MC Series. This book did not disappoint. As with book one, this book is well-written, action packed and grabbed my attention from page one. I read it in one day. Once I started the book, I couldn’t put it down until I finished it. The circumstances that kept Dragon and Tari a part in the beginning of the book broke my heart. Then, when they found each other again their lives were immediately thrown into turmoil (life or death circumstances). They had an uphill battle full of twists and turns to get to their HEA. The author does a good job writing internal dialogue, so we know what the characters are thinking. The h’s internal dialogue did a good job of showing the contrast between the strong woman she portrayed to those around her and the insecurities she felt on the inside.

There were a few typos and places where wrong words were used (then instead of than), but it was not too distracting. As with book one in this series, this one has an aspect to the story that is not my cup of tea. I will never understand why two people who love each other would willingly have sex with each other in front of other people, much less in front of the whole club. It seems to me that if you love someone you wouldn’t want other people to see them naked, and you definitely wouldn’t want anyone else watching you have sex with each other. I have read LOTS of MC series and they all have OTT alpha males and almost all of those would never allow anyone else to see their woman naked. That being said, it didn’t stop me from being so captivated by the rest of the story that I couldn’t put the book down. If that kind of thing is your cup of tea, you’ll probably love the book even more than I did.

THE YOGA INSTRUCTOR AND HER BIKER SEAL
Tari met Dragon in a biker bar when she was out with her snooty college friends. She was in the middle of leaving and telling one of them off and Dragon thought she was magnificent. Their one night was just that because he was leaving on assignment that morning. It seems he left her something else too. She tried to find him. She had two crappie jobs lived in a crappie neighborhood. She did have 2 good friends in her yoga class. Val and Pixie. Tari had to bring her daughter to work one day and her bosses called her in the office and was about to be fired when Val and Pixie overheard. Val said oh no and called her husband Dozer who happened to have bought the yoga business for her. When she explained to him what was going on and wanted them fired...done. Well they happened to be dealing drugs and women out of the studio and blamed Tari for what happened. After talking and Tari tells her story they get excited and show Tari a picture and Tari can't believe it's her Dragon. He's been looking for her and she's been here all this time. There is a misunderstanding when she go's to met Dragon and she leaves. He tracks her down to talk but he has to leave on business for a couple days but tells her they'll talk more when gets back. She's attacked and almost dies and he finds out about Lali his daughter. Needless to say all hell breaks loose with the MC. You will not want to miss this second installment of the Dark Sons MC family. They protect their own. I can't wait for the third book.

Second Chance @ a 1st
I love that Tari (Nefatari) is represented in the story as a strong, NOT ANGRY sista!!!! She is more than capable and is just like a regular woman...she is not from a mafia family or rich just a simple girl living life (although she is from a bonafide cult but most of us are if you think about it) as best she could after a one night stand creates the most importatnt person in her life Lila. I love that fact that her name sake is queen - Nefertiti. I love that Dragon describes her as "a heart of Gold, Soul like a Saint and a backbone made of titanium".

Dragon is a beautiful Hispanis man - not a drug dealer, not a criminal but a honrably discharged Navy Seal not looking for love but knows his "Reina" when he sees her. I love that when he knows hhe has her again that he will move the galaxies to get to her and to see that he has a daughter makes him more fortifide to not only proterct her but make her see that they are a family...with brothers, a mother she wants and wants her and sisters bound not by blood but by sheer love!!!

I love Gregory Salinas voice and the way he make Dragon feels throug is voice - the intonations wer spot on and made you actually see Dragon. Shammen Mccune was alright, The cvoice was little too high pitched and the inflectionwasnt there but for Val (when she appeared or Pixie.

S/N: 1) I love that Ann explained the meaning of his name but what took the cake for me was Hannibal's real name - Anrea means getting you azz kicked til you hit puberty (hilarious), and 2) to hear Val and her country voice with her metaphors was hoot (yes I am country too)

Looking forward to the next in que!!!!!!

Such a wonderful fun read with lots so many things to get lost in I love the chemistry between the main characters they are perfect for each other in many aspects! Where their both incredible independent people who will do anything for those they love and not afraid to speak their minds. After a one night stand the feisty woman life is about to change forever especially when the people around her suck and shunning her out. She does her best to make a better life for herself and her cuteness of a daughter but life has crazy up and downs for them. Dragon is part of an amazing mc that all the guys are crazy hot protectors and lots more. Will these find away back to each other and make a one night stand into something more in lines of forever? Or will the danger among other things be to much for her feel saved with her daughter to stay/ past trauma to put her trust and faith in new people? This book is full of funny moments, some little bit of dark themes like sexual abuse. Overall I love this book it’s definitely action packed, page turner, unpredictable moments, a little tear jerking moments. It’s very funny with some of the amazing women from book 1 and learning/ getting to know this very strong new girl character was awesome to see her strength throughout all the things that she as been through. I love the her unique talents she is definitely someone you definitely shouldn’t underestimate. There are so many bad guys prepared. Also the ending made my night! On too book 3 of this amazing binge worthy series! :)

This is book two in this amazing series and I will be reading the rest of them. Author Ann Jensen did an amazing job in this book. The characters are amazing, and the storyline kept my attention the entire time I was reading.

First we meet Nefertari, a spunky college student who is out with her friends who are only wanting her to join their squad because she is tall and can help with the pyramid. She was there for her roommate who ask her go, she finally had enough of their talking about people and the way they were acting and she decided to leave. But before that could happen one of the girls decided to put her to far and she let them have it.

Next, we have Dragon, a member of the Dark Sons MC and a Navy Seal, he is in town on leave and was at the bar just to see his brothers before heading back to his unit. He was sitting at the bar when Tari let the spoiled rich girl have it.

The two of them talked a bit and he offered to take her home but, home wasn’t where she really wanted to go, after a night of talking and passion, he left the next morning, little did they know that their lives would never be same. That one night was all it took for them to fall for each other, only problem was, she didn’t know his real name or how to contact him.

Luck would have it, she worked at a spa, a spa owned by The Dark Sons, so when two of her regular yoga ladies heard his name, they knew exactly who she was talking about. What happens next? You will need to read the book to find out.

Second book in this wonderful series, thoroughly enjoyed
This the second book in this wonderful series and I have to say that it was wonderful to meet some more of the Dark Sons MC and their brother along with some of their old ladies.
This book was based around the characters Dragon who is an ev marine and also the woman he had met just before he had been sent out on a tour for two years, Tari had been beautiful and had stayed in his dreams and waking hours all the time he was away and when he had returned home, he had not been able to find her no matter how hard he had tried.
Tari had discovered she was pregnant and had wanted to let Dragon know but without his proper name or unit number it had been impossible so she had been kicked out by her family and working two jobs had birthed her daughter in a bath tub and had earned a pittance of a living teaching yoga and waiting tables, she had met some good people here though and they had helped her.
Then she had nearly died and Dragon had discovered in the worse way that he might lose his love and also that he was a father, why had someone hurt Tari and why were they continuing to try and kill her.
The Dark Sons look after there own and they would ensure Dragons family was kept safe and discover who the attackers were.
I voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader Copy
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.

Lost in the Dark (Dark Sons MC Book 2) is a gritty, action-packed, suspenseful second story in the Dark Sons MC series. Nefertari, aka Tari, meets Dragon in the Dark Son's bar when she stands up to a group of entitled trust fund cheerleaders from her college. They have one night of intense passion that is seared on both of their brains, bodies, and hearts. Nights like that have consequences. As Tari and Dragon find themselves together again a couple of years later, they literally have to fight for their family. Tari wants to be safe, and Dragon wants to be the man that fulfills that and many more of her desires. He does a great job at both. Once again, Ann Jensen takes us into the Dark Sons MC world, compassionate as they are murderous. They live by their own law. As we see in Lost in the Dark, God help anyone that messes with their family. The characters in this story are compelling and realistic. They draw you into their world. There is violence in that world, but there is also passion, family, and brotherhood. Parts of the storyline may be triggering for some.

This book is engaging and suspenseful. I could not put it down. I look forward to the next book, Caught in the Dark, which is Tek's story.

Tari and Dragon’s story. Tari and Dragon meet while she is out bar hopping with a group of girls that she ends up pretty much telling to take a hike - she really wasn’t interested in spending anymore of her time in their little “click”. She spots an Adonis sitting at the bar so she decides to stop and have one more drink and ends up with Dragon, him being a one night stand which he told her up front that’s all he could give her as he was a Navy Seal and he was on leave but headed back the next morning. Tari ends up pregnant and she knows nothing about Dragon other than he is a Navy Seal so now she is pregnant, alone, gets disowned, and all funding stopped by her parents. Through two clients at the spa where Tari is a Yoga instructor she and Dragon find each other again. Dragon discovers he is a father in a very harsh frightening way as Tari is thrown into an ugly scenario that just keeps growing uglier and scarier but now she has Dragon and his MC Brothers to rescue her and clean up the mess. I enjoyed this story. I am looking forward to next one in the series. This is the first I’ve read from this author. I do look forward to more. I do recommend this series. I received an Advance Reader's Copy and am voluntarily leaving my honest thoughts and opinions.

Book Two of the Dark Sons MC Series. Can be read as a standalone novel.
It starts in a bar.....
Tari is enduring the night stuck with her college roommate and a bunch of spoiled rich girls. After hearing too much snobbery and getting hit with an insult, she says her piece with a couple of to the point insults. The gains the attention of the dark man at the bar and causes him to laugh. As the snobby crowd is thrown out of the bar, Tari and Dragon strike up a conversation. The bond is instant and a blazing night ensues for the two of them.
Tari finds out she is pregnant, banished from her family and community, has no way of contacting Dragon who had to leave on deployment.
Quickly the reader is engrossed into the plot of this story. Seems like a setup that has been wrote a hundred of times. Ann Jensen is able to craft characters with such strong and likeable personalities that they come to life. This adds the undercurrent that keeps a reader turning the pages. That combined with the plot that has more twist and turns than a freeway map, leaves the reader engrossed.
A fast paced, thrilling, steamy adventure of finding your true place and family in life.

Lost in The Dark is the second installment of Ann Jensen’s Dark Sons MC series. Nefertari and Dragon come together for one night before he is deployed. Their attraction is off the charts but the timing is unfortunate. After that night, Nefertari (Tari) ends up pregnant with no way of contacting Dragon....no last name and not even his real first name. The reader can feel her angst but also her strength as she grapples with this unexpected situation. This story is extraordinary, filled with well rounded characters and almost lyrical dialogue. Tari makes do with the hand that she has been dealt...making the best choices she can for her daughter. She and Dragon reconnect but Tari and their child are in grave danger and Dragon and his fellow brothers have to unravel all the pieces of the twisted alliances. I cannot say enough how good this book is. Once I started I read through the night. Tari and Dragon are now one of my favorite couples. I am looking forward to the next book in the series.

Oh, the heat is HOT, and the physical chemistry is captivating so be careful you may just get burned all the heat coming off these pages. There were some "oh no" "oh wow" " what the what" moments and add in uncanny mishaps, and shenanigans the good kind that makes you keep turning the pages till last page has been turned. Nefertari (Tari) and Dragon meet in the Dark Son’s bar when she stands up to group of mean girls from her school. They get to know each other a little better one thing leads to another and ending with one night of intense passion resulting in a life change for Tari and eventually for Dragon as well. They go their separate ways fast forward a few years and yep, they meet again, and it isn’t smooth sailing for them since Tari finds herself in a bit of hot water. They must fight for each other, and their family Dragon along with his MC Brothers will stop at nothing to ensure her safety. Also, he wants to fulfill all her dreams, hopes, and desires and he does an amazing job at both. Where will it all lead will the two of them finally get their HEA?

Just wow, this author continues to delight me with these wonderful and mighty stories of the Dark Sons and and their women. The women are strong and are matched perfectly with their old man
This book is action packed and full of hotness, but with that comes a strong women that has been beaten but its her man who will be her strength.
When Tari first met Dragon, they instantly clicked and the chemistry between them was hot. One night was all it took and Tari was pregant, she couldnt find Dragon as he had gone on a misson with the seals. Two years later and Tari is teaching yoga with her little girl, her friends know Dargon as hes part of the Club. Reunited again is short when Tari is attacked. It takes the Dark Sons to figure out whats going on. And Dragon will protect his women with his life.
This is another must read, i totally enjoyed reading this story and honestly im looking forward to reading more.

New author: Yes
Format: Whispersync
Narrator(s): Shammen McCune, Gregory Salinas
New: Yes, no
Audiobook challenge: Lost in the title
Rep: Multicultural romance
Keywords: Latino MMC, motorcycle club, former SEAL, single mom, accidental pregnancy, FMC of Asian-African heritage, religious extremism references, yoga instructor

The voice work by these narrators was quite good. While the female narrator presented as too old for the fmc, her accent work was absolutely excellent. And Gregory speaking with just the right accent plus’s his fluent Spanish was a highlight. Love the diversity of characters in this book. It’s a quick read with very minor angst and tension. A but inst-love, a little second chance romance, and the accidental pregnancy keep it on-formula for a romance without it being cheesy or tired. There is enough of a crime novel plot to move things along and keep the romance formulas for feeling like, well, formulas. A very pleasant surprise from the depths of my library!

I love this series! Lost in the Dark is just, if not more riveting than the first book in the Dark Sons MC series. Dark Sons MC is now one of my favourite MC romance series. The writing, plot and character development all have the right ingredients for composing an enticing story. The storyline is super engaging, suspenseful, gritty, and steamy, with enough moving parts to keep you entirely engrossed. Dragon and Tari have a past with explosive connection, one conceived from passion, desire, and time. Their story is wonderfully written and as captivating as the characters.

The audiobook is very well-narrated. Gregory Salinas and Shammen Mccune were simply amazing. They literally breathed life into the characters and made the story even more enjoyable. Lost in the Dark was a fantastic listen, and I can't wait to hear the rest of the brothers' journeys.

I am so in love with this series! The storylines are well thought out. There is mystery, suspense and of course romance. The characters have a depth to them that makes the story even better. This story is about Tari, who was raised in very strict family who are part of a religious cultish community. It only takes one small laps in judgement, and she soon finds herself pregnant and quickly shunned and removed from this community. Dragon was still in the military when he first met Tari and they share a night that will have long lasting consequences…a daughter named Lali. When they finally meet again, the attraction and connection is still strong between them. But other forces step in with long lasting consequences and it will be up to Dragon and the rest of the Dark Sons MC to save Tari and Lali. Such a good story!!!

“Lost in the Dark” is the second book in Ann Jensen’s Dark Sons MC series, and I thought it was an amazing read!!! Dragon and Tari have one incredible night together before Dragon has to leave, but unbeknownst to him, Tari becomes pregnant as a result of their encounter. Two years later, she’s struggling to make ends meet, when Dragon comes back into her life. This book was so freaking good, it was dark and suspenseful while also including scenes that were funny and lighthearted. I loved how devoted Dragon was to Tari and to their daughter, Lali. He was fiercely protective and extremely possessive, but that’s just a part of his charm. I loved Tari because she was bold and sassy, but also intelligent and kind. I highly recommend this book if you love second chance and/or MC romance novels!!!

Ann Jensen is one of my new favorite authors. I love how well edited her books are and the story is very engaging. This book follows the previous book including the same characters but focuses on Tari and Dragon’s story. A one night stand leads to Tari becoming pregnant and the only thing she knows about the father is his handle “Dragon” and that he is a Navy Seal. However, it is a small world and by small chance Tari discovers her who her baby’s father is. She is also led into a world of trouble that hopefully only Dragon and his brothers can rescue her from. I loved this story. It has all the good qualities for a fantastic romance with a little more of the erotic mixed in.
