Blind Deception is the latest release from Sandy Alvarez and Crystal Daniels and it takes us back to Montana. After the amazing read that was Kiwi I couldn't wait to get my hands on this new book. Unfortunately I am definitely in the minority because I didn't like it. I normally don't mind insta love but this one felt off to me. Their relationship moved at lightening speed from the moment Austin set eyes on Lelani, then almost immediately came I love you and then babies. Honestly it had my head spinning at the fast paced of the relationship and story. Oh well can't love them all but I do look forward to whatever these authors release next.

Welcome back to the Montana chapter!!! Best grab on to something cuz the ladies did it again. Nothing in life is guaranteed. But the men in Kings of Retribution will. Once the men get ahold of there sassy, crazy women everything is off the table. They teach us that blood is not always family. You choice who u call family. Both come from broken family but together they make in amazing pair. Austin teaches Lenani that he takes care of her because he loves her. That’s how you treat someone you claimed ..

Good! Not sure if this is a new spin off or part of the first series...I'm hoping it's a new spin off.
This is Austin and Lelani's book. This is not just a MC book but a lot of mafia too. Lelani was born a Mafia princess but didn't stay that way. It all comes down to her greed by family members and them wanting money.
For Austin it was love at first sight... Lelani has to get to know him a little bit before she knows it's love... you'll understand why it wasn't a love at first sight for her.

I want to start this review out with a quote from the book..... "My mom told me to never wish on a star, to always wish on a sunrise. A sunrise is the start of a brand-new day, and it is up to us to make our hopes and dreams come true." There is just something about this passage that hit me right in the feels and I felt the need to share it.
Lelani is a beautiful pure soul and has been through a lot by those who are supposed to love her unconditionally. Austin is a member of the Kings and knows he is to the point in his life where he wants what his brothers have in life. When he lays eyes on Lelani for the first time an urge to protect her at all cost claims him. In true Kings fashion he beats his proverbial chest and makes it a reality for them. I adore the family mindset the club has, and I love the fact that once they consider you family they will do whatever it takes to keep you safe.
Bravo ladies you have yet again delivered us a beautifully crafted story that I devoured in no time at all. You have the ability to write a story that pulls you in and keeps you captivated until the very end. I love getting to get caught up with past characters.

Holy Moly!! Blind Deception put my heart and emotions through the wringer and boy oh boy did I love every second of it.
Sandy and Crystal have created a world you will love, want to get lost in, and simply devour every story that comes out of it. They effortlessly intertwine characters from previous/other MC chapters and previous stories who you have missed and will be excited to see more of.
This particular story is Austin's and Lelani's. It's heartbreaking, action packed, suspenseful, and yet heart-warmingly beautiful.
As I devoured their story my heart both equally ached and warmed. And I swooned hard over Austin, held my breath with anticipation, reached for the tissues, gasped in shock and surprise when the twists and turns hit, and admired Lelani something fierce who despite her disability was a total bad-ass.
Another absolutely winner added to an already killer series!!!

This one was so good and that was due to Lelani. I hated how things started out for her, hated how her whole life was ruined by her family and so glad that she fell in with the Kings, a family that shows what love and support is all about. Lelani wasn't really sure about the Kings and Austin at the start, but they kept proving time and time again that they wanted her around for her, not who she really was or what she could do for them. It was great for her to have that. And while her past kept popping up, by the end of the book all the threats were taken care of, which left Lelani and Austin to just live their lives happy!

Blind Deception by Crystal Daniels and Sandy Alvarez was the eight book in the Kings of Retribution MC Montana series. I love this series - as well as the Louisiana spin-off - and Blind Deception didn’t disappoint.
Austin was a patched brother with a tragic childhood that had an everlasting impact. His loyalty to the Kings was everything. Family was everything. Lelani also had a tragic childhood after she lost her parents along with her eyesight in a car crash. Add in a very personal betrayal and she was at the wrong place at the right time. All of the elements that I love within the series was present: MC family loyalty, hot overprotective alpha men, strong resilient women, and an action packed suspenseful theme. Need I say more! I can’t wait to see where the authors take us next!

Absolutely stunning!
Austin and Lelani's story is beautiful. Austin sees Lelani and knows immediately that she is the one for him. Her being blind doesn't take anything away from her for him. She sees her blindness as a burden while he sees it as something that makes her, her.
Lelani puts her trust within Austin as soon as she meets him and it doesn't take long for her to love the feel of herself wrapped around him or in his arms.
Austin helps her grow and see what a true family is; how they love each other and stand by one another, no matter what. That just because your family is blood, doesn't mean they are worth your love.
Twists and turns make their way into this story and show everything that Lelani has gone through and what has made her the woman she is today.

The Kings of Retribution is one of the best MC series around. Blind Deception is about Austin and Lelani. I freaking loved this story. I loved how past characters made an appearance and tied so many stories together. I loved the push and pull between Austin and Lelani. Sandy and Crystal brought their “A” game with this novel. I couldn’t put it down and absolutely love the Montana Chapter. Hands down one of the best MC novels written this year. I always expect big things from Sandy and Crystal but they by far exceeded those expectations with this book. If I could give this book more than 5 Stars I totally would. So if you haven’t read these ladies, you have no idea the wild ride you are missing out on. Grab this book now!!

One of my favorite things about Crystal & Sandy's characters is that they are easy to relate to & characters that have real disabilities.
Lelani is one of those characters. She has a disability but she doesn't let that stop her from living life. Of course she isn't really living life until she falls into the world of the King of Retribution, more importantly she falls into the arms of Austin.
Oh Austin. I mean come on who doesn't love an alpha male who will do anything to protect his woman. *swoon*
Austin & Lelani's story is a wonderful read & its always nice to be back with the Montana Chapter.

Austin ❤ Lelani! Kinda sweet story to read, I enjoyed it, even if I read it out of order! It was a quite classic motorcycle club story, nothing was missing and I can't wait to read the other books in the series soon.

Oh my gosh! This book is so amazing! Loved being back with Jake and the Montana crew. These guys were my first Alvarez/ Daniels reads and they’re still dear to my heart. Austin and Lelani are fabulous! Austin is a tortured soul who finds peace with Lelani. She’s strong and determined despite her disability...they’re just perfect. Ms. Daniels and Ms. Alvarez have never let me down and they prove my point with this book. Thrilling and off the charts sexy, it is a roller coaster ride from start to finish. Thanks ladies for another terrific read, can’t wait to see what your combined talented minds come up with next!

Loved this book. Austin hasn’t had an easy life so he knows that his Kings family is special. I love how assertive he was with our heroine. He didn’t treat her like glass which i appreciated. She is a badass. She doesn’t let what happened to her change her. The Kings are the best bonus family you could have. This book just gave me all the feels! Can’t wait to see who is next and as always I love seeing the OGs and what’s going on in there lives. These men are a different breed.

This book will have you hooked from start to end. Austin and Lelani will have your emotions running as they deal with her family. Austin saves her and others from a trafficking ring. Lelani tries to understand why the one person she thought she could trust would do what he did. As the club learns her identity things start to heat up as once more Jske and his brothers face off with a name from the past

My new favorite to date. After saving lelani Austin brings her back to Montana. He had and instant attraction to her. Lelani being blind can feel his presence and after some time he claims her. Love is formed.

Blind Deception is part of the long-standing Kings of Retribution MC Montana series, this is Austin’s story and it is one that you don’t want to miss. If you have not read any of the previous books in the series, I highly recommend that you do.
Austin has a few things in his life that he cherishes and now that he has met Lelani she has taken top spot, his dog & family have all fallen for her aswell. Lelani has always felt like a burden ever since she moved in with her uncle, when he presents her with a life she doesn’t want she thinks she has found a way out but when the person she trusts turns on her she is left wondering how to move forward with her life.
Their story is not perfect and there is plenty of bumps in the road but when you find the one you hold on tight and never let go.
I personally loved this story, Austin and Lelani were amazing characters that proved their loyalty to not only each other but their family.
I cannot wait to get more from this series, its like coming home with each book!

Blind Deception is a whirlwind of intense and raw emotions. Austin and Lelani's story, book 8 in The Kings of Retribution MC series, is beautiful and intricated. Sandy Alvarez and Crystal Daniel's powerful storytelling made me tear and sob so many times, yet it also brought countless smiles and laughs. Because only such a talented duo can make you sob uncontrollably and then smile in the span of a few pages.
I'm in awe with their writing because they managed once more to create a story that even the most serial and MC reader will not see coming. They achieved it, again, after 16 books pertaining to three series that intertwined characters and storylines. Sandy and Crystal have created a family that readers want to be a part of. Because let's face it, that is what The Kings of Retribution MC are.
Blind Deception takes readers back to the Montana chapter, which means every character that has made this series a success is there. It's filled with treats, I mean Quinn and Glory being in the same room? Hilarious and explosive.

Crystal and Sandy know how to hit you in the feels with each and every book they write. I absolutely loved that there was a mention one of their other books that just so happens to be my favorite. I saw the name Denver and though omg yea!!
This book was absolutely everything! I love how well crystal and sandy write characters with a disability. They always show that these women are strong can do absolutely everything any other woman can. Beautiful!

Gorgeous story!

Austin’s and Lelani were just beautiful together! And I absolutely adored how many times Lelani was reminded that she was family.
And the wee nod to a certain book? Epic!

Awful. Like a teenager wrote this. The character's dialogue and thoughts were whining and immature. I cringed a lot!. Wanted to stop reading at just 6%, that's how bad it was. Cringingly immature and unprofessional.
Managed to push to about 25% but it's nothing except a list of mundane everyday actions, including the characters having half a dozen showers, with every item of clothing they pull. Followed by yet more lists of mundane actions like every room he walked into and every cigarette he had. Painfully dull.
It's far too sickly sweet, constantly repeating how these men love fiercely, how these men love hard, how these men love totally, how these men love... yada yada yada. It was just all too immature, like when she overhears him speak to another woman, and she leaves, saying she doesn't want to know if he's cheating! Ridiculous because then she acts all heartbroken as if he did cheat!
Even asking "how could he claim me but have sex with another woman?" Ah he didn't! Stupid woman. And "Why would he? How could he parade another woman around under my nose?". All because he said one word to the woman. Again, he didn't parade her anywhere, like the heroine claimed.

With this book in the Kings of Retribution series we are brought back to the Polson Montana chapter. After helping the New Orleans chapter rescue Piper and her friend Gia they guys also rescue Lelani and some other women. Austin is immediately taken with Lelani and couldn't be happier when she agrees to go back to Polson with them.
Austin has a few things he cherishes...his sister, his pop, his dog, and his club has now found that Lelani is one of those things and he will do anything to keep her safe and loved. Lelani was thrust into darkness after an accident that not only took her sight but her parents as well. She has always felt like a burden to the people trusted to take care of her. After her uncles tells her he is forcing her into marriage she asks her brother for help. After a terrible betrayal then being sold and rescued, she finds it hard to believe that Austin and her new family really love her and didn't find her as a burden too.
As usual with the Kings there is lots of action...the men protecting their women and children. I loved catching up with the guys and our favorite ladies. I love how Austin and Lelani's love grows and how they make her see that she is part of their family a family not by blood but by love and choice

Austin is a member of the Kings of Retribution MC he wants to be there for Lelani, but she holds some secrets. Can Austin keep Lelani protected all the while facing a new threat to the MC?
I thought this was great had a few surprises along the way. I liked Lelani she has a rough road ahead but finds herself for the first time in a long time having someone to lean on. Entertaining.

Austin and Lelani's story was raw, emotional and kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. I laughed, I cried and I fell in love with them. Both of them have been through so much as children and my heart broke for them. Their story is beautifully written and I can't wait to see what happens next.

Brilliant. Great pace, right amount of MC v personal. Lots of hotness between the characters, and some great twists along the way. Well worth a read.
