I'm marking this as read/DNF to get it out of my reading pile and admit I didn't finish it. I've had it out from my school library for over a year and a half and have been trying to read it, but have never gotten very far so I've given up. However, it's not because it's not a good book, it's very good. It's just not really the kind of history book to just read through, I'd more likely read it when I need specific information for research. It's very detailed and probably will be useful to me in the future, I just can't pull myself through it all right now.
