Diana isn’t adapting to life on Xavren as easily as her sisters. She expected a job and somewhere safe to live but the Xavren council members didn’t follow through on their promises. She wants answers and she’s not afraid to get them.
She resents the barbarians especially the brute who is always trying to put her in her place. She won’t make it easy for him and she’ll never let him see her vulnerability. The last thing she wants is to be controlled.
Vrihith will do whatever he needs to do to protect his clan. He’ll put his life on the line and take on any mission—including chasing down the feisty human. She doesn’t listen and her choices could mean disaster for the clan and the fragile peace they cling to. So when she sneaks off to the city, he follows her for her own safety as well as the clans.
He should hate her for the trouble she causes but her fire awakens the savage inside of him. Will he be able to break down her walls when he decides he wants to claim her as his own?
Savage Alien takes place after Fierce Alien. Each book is a standalone romance though it is recommended to read them in order for the best reading experience. Savage Alien is a steamy sci-fi romance, no cheating, no cliffhanger, HEA guaranteed!
Luna Kingsley writes steamy sci-fi and paranormal romance. She loves a happy ending more than chocolate chip pancakes with whipped cream on top! When she's not writing she's attempting to keep up with her two active boys on all of their adventures. With her faithful rescue dog at her side, she's dreaming up "out of this world" romances with sexy aliens who are irresistible.
I think the main female character ruined this book for me. I stopped at 40% and didn't care to continue to see how it ended. She was abrasive, unlikeable and cantankerous. Her stupidity caused so many problems. I don't tolerate people like her in real life and I don't have time to read about them either. If I don't care for the characters why would I read the book?
This book was a complete surprise I’ve not read from this author before but wow I loved this book . Dianna and her sister Marion, Lana have left there father for a better life on the planet Xavren but when they arrive they thrown outside of the city to fend for themselves with the hell of the local Scargad barbarians who need mates with the earth females and kids as well. Her sisters Marion, Lana find mates and soon become pregnant and though she is happy for then Diana wants more than to be a breeder to these barbarians expsellity the bossy one they call Vrihith who follows me around even if he is hot as hell and makes me tingle all over it won’t ever go anywhere. Vrihith has watch his clan leader fall in love with his mate Marion and hopes one day he can find his but he has no time because he is always chasing after Diana who drives him crazy not doing as she’s told and keeps getting into trouble. But she has gone to far this time and put both there lives on the line because they are taken inside the walls of the city and this is not a place that they should ever been in, it dangerous and Dianna doesn’t understand how bad it is but she will soon. With the Councilors that put money above all else and the human lives the they brought here from earth was a lie it was about money because of there greed. What happens next in this book you have to buy it to find out but you won’t be disappointed at all.

Diana is tired of people telling her what to do and having no choices. When they left the coumpound, she thought she might finally have a chance to make her own life. Then she found out that the aliens had lied to them and were using them. Then she met the barbarian aliens who wanted the human women for mates. Once again someone is telling her what she can and can't do. The worst alien at bossing her is Vrihith. Anger and frustration is building up inside and she is tired of feeling like a third wheel with her sisters and their mates. Diana decides to do something about. She decides to go to the alien city and find out some answers. Just before she tries to enter the city, Vrihith catches her and tries to drag her back home. A city guard catches them and takes them into the city. Now Diana has to depend on Vrihith to keep her safe in this unknow situation.
Vrihith was given the job of watching Diana by his leader. Diana is very stubborn and independent which at first drives Vrihith crazy. After he rescues her one night when she was injured, he starts to see another side of Diana. Even though the other barbarians keep their distance from her, Vrihith is starting to think she might be worth getting to know. When he follows her to the city to protect her, he is very angry at her recklessness. When they are captured, he will do anything to protect her even claim her as his mate.

I prefer less "steam " that's so graphically detailed. But the stories would hold their own without any "steam" at all. So I skip some parts. I enjoy the relationships that develop throughout all the adventures, danger, and beauty of this alien world. I could not see that "good guys" would be into spanking a woman as a punishment. If they're supposedly into respecting women and then the next moment protecting her from the same type of aggressive behavior from other males. That's something I see as very controlling, disrespectful, and not "good" at all. It's demeaning, to say the least. At least that changes in the story as their relationship changes them. But still, I think that any male that treats females like that is one that one should avoid. It usually does not end well in our world. I don't find it likely to in any world either. It's normally a big red flag in any relationship. I think that it's likely that it should be universally, even in sci-fi, romance fiction, too. Otherwise, what are you thinking of presenting that as acceptable on any level? I know I would never accept a husband's punishing a wife for disobedience in any way. That is abuse! It's just plain, condensending, disrespectful, and demeaning no matter from which angle you look at it.
Diana is not happy on Xavren because she was lied to by the Xavren Council about expectations of a job and safety where she would live. She is demanding answers. She is angry at the barbarian brute who tries to put her in her place. He will not control her!
Vrihith is very protective of his clan and is concerned that, because the human will not listen, her choices could bring disaster to his people by breaking their fragile peace. She sneaked off to the city, so he decided to keep a close eye on her before she causes trouble there. She definitely does. But her actions bring out the savage part of him. Can he get through to her and convince her he wants her for his own?
Stubborn, headstrong people are not among those I would admire. Diana’s foolish disregard for everything except her own objectives bothered me. She felt justified, but put others in danger. The aliens who know more than she does about their planet needed to spell it out for her, not that she would listen. Vrihith remained protective of her, however, and even patient with her defiant actions. He gets the good-guy points. He’ll have his work cut out for him with that one though.
Another amazing story by the wonderful Luna Kingsley of the Barbarian Clans of Xavren. Diana and Vrihith’s story is definitely filled with hesitancy, hunger, complacency and most of all, desire. Luna does a fantastic job of grasping the reader’s attention with the feistiness of Diana and the persistent patience of Vrihith.
Diana, the oldest of the sisters from previous stories, shows her unwillingness to accept her life, even though both of her sisters have found their mates. She struggles with herself, learning how independent she can be but still accepting help when needed. Her character is definitely a spitfire, causing difficulties at every angle for Vrihinth.
Vrihinth has to be the most patient character thus far in the series with not flying off the handle because of Diana’s constant antics. His willingness to put himself in harms way to protect her, making sure she is always safe and has everything she needs, touches all of your being , overwhelming you with happiness. Needless to say, barbarians need love too and Vrihinth deserves nothing but the best.
I feel bad leaving this book with 3 stars, I liked it but didn't love it like I loved the first 2 books. To bad I can't leave 3 and 1/2 stars. Again, I like it but don't love it. Diana and Vrihith's story, Diana likes to do things on her own, doesn't think of the consequences of her actions. Here lies to problem, Diana is not thinking there is safety in numbers. Why do the men get to do things on their own? Is it perhaps they are familiar with the land and the beasts there? But, she lands herself in situations where she needs help. From the beginning, Vrihith is asked to help find Diana because she should have been back from delivering supplies from the other camp site. Once he finds it's Diana that is missing he is quick to go find her. He seems to have a watchful eye on her that no other brethren have on her. It seems they don't want her as a mate as most find her troublesome, hard headed.
Anyways, I hope there is another coupling in this series. I do like it and hope you read them.
This is the third book of this series of Humans that have gone to this planet (Xavren) were they were promise to colonize it and have a better life but of curse it was a lie. In this story we are told the story of Diana and Vrihith and all that they go throught before they have their happily ever after. In this story we get also a lot of world building but still there so many questions unanswered. In short we have a story with lots of action and romance. The hero is soo sweet and understanding and have gone throught so many things in his life and Diana is a pain in the butt but you understand it after all that have happened to her also. Not saying she is my favorite character because she was frustrating at times but the author make you see, why she is the way that she is.

A great 3rd book in this series! I loved this, esp as I'd wondered if Diana would allow her walls down enough to accept happiness. I was delighted with how her story unfolds. Seeing Vrihith finally getting more than harshness from Diana was so good. And I was really glad the drattur finally did something useful.
None of the barbarian males are interested in claiming Diana due to her prickly, defensive behaviour. She is nothing like her sisters Marion and Lana, both now happily mated and pregnant. Vrihith has watched over the her since they came to the mountain and finds himself drawn to her, despite her being constantly irritated and annoyed with him. Finally they both start to realise there is more involved.

Savage Alien is Diana and Vrihith’s story. Diana wants to be independent and is very hesitant about getting tangled up with Vrihith since she does not want to be ordered about or have to report to another person about her whereabouts. She is not the most pleasant person in that she creates chaos that can and does cause problems for others. Vrihith is a very strong barbarian who is attracted to Diana and her feisty nature. This story has lots of twists and turns with attacking monsters from the ground and the air. There is a horrible council that is ruling things that makes everyone's life difficult. Interesting story that is fairly well written.

Diana came to a new world in search of a new life, not more of the same old frustrations.
Vrihith is determined to protect headstrong and stubborn Diana, even from herself. This human has no idea how precarious peace on their world is, or how untrustworthy the high council are, and Vrihith doesn't always have time to stop and explain as he's pulling her out of a proverbial fire.
This done in one Kindle Unlimited quick read moves the overarching arc forward, does some really interesting world building, all while focusing on two characters who have lived in dysfunctional families and aren't sure what their own future should look like.
Such an enjoyable read. Loved the sassy and strong Diana. Sadly I have yet to read the first two books but you do get an insight into her past life. She is strong and gutsy and did not want a mate. Vrihith is a strong warrior and defender of his family and people. Often clashing with Diana but yet drawn to her, to protect her even though she feels she doesn't need it. He is just as stubborn as her and is often protecting her. Diana softens over time and they grow into their tentative bond. There are issues and potential threats but they move forward and eventually have their own bonding ceremony. Now I have to read the other two earlier books. :)
⚔️ “You love with as much fire as you live. I’m honored you’ve opened your heart to me. Know that I will always protect it. Nothing can keep us apart now.” ~~~ Diana is feisty, brave and independent. And she definitely doesn’t want a mate or to be seen as a breeder.
Vrihith is a strong warrior who will do anything to protect his people. I loved how patient he was with Diana until she came to terms with herself.
I loved their relationship - it was sizzling hot, with ups and downs, hesitancy, trials and trust building.
Overall, it’s a story filled with action, suspense, unexpected events, desire, steam and strong characters.
Another great story that's part of the Barbarian Clans of Xavren. This is Diana and Vrihith story. Diana is trying to find out why the jobs and safe home live is that the council members promised when she came to live on Xavren. She's very strong willed and independent and she's going to go find some answers in the city. Vrihith has been trying to make sure she stays safe but she tries his patients. Story was just as exciting as the first two and I hate to see the series end with this book. Will Diana and Vrihith ever get their bonding ceremony? This is book three and the third sister named Diana. She is young and restless. Her two sisters are mated and pregnant. Diana wants to do more to help in her new life. The human females have discovered that this bride exchange is not what was promised to them before they left earth. Vrihith, one of the talented warriors, has taken a liking to Diana. However she cannot be bothered because she needs to find her purpose or a job at least. Vrihith is determined to protect Diana regardless because he feels the pull. These two enjoy both fun and danger as they find each other. Read On!
4 1/2 ⭐ These Barbarians of Xavren stories are great! A vivid new world full of danger and possibilities. The women transported to Xavren were deceived. The Council promised jobs and homes and never delivered. Diana is having trouble adjusting to her new circumstances and she wants answers. She doesn't understand the danger she will be putting Vrihith and the clan in. She makes Vrihith crazy. She pushes him away and won't listen to him when he is just trying to protect her. He's willing to wait as long as it takes for her to realize she is his. Can he protect her from herself?.

I can't tell you how much I loved this series! The characters were well written and there was enough back story for the characters to see where their motivations lie. It took off from the previous story and expanded from there, adding more depth to the Council and the City that was responsible for humans to come to Xavren, while escaping their miserable lives back on Earth. The worldbuilding was excellent. Plenty of action and adventure along with HEA. A really great read!

This book is a wonderful mix of antagonistic love and lots of action. It is so well written you can see their world develop around you. It is about two people attracted to each other. Not really sure why until later in the book do they understand the attraction. They are so sure the other is too much trouble but in the end their devotion to each other will have crying for them and feeling everything happening with them. She is a wonderful author.

This was an amazingly well-written book 3 in a Series called Barbarian Clans of Xavren that was even better than the first two books. It has very well-developed and interesting characters that have an interesting dynamic. These characters are believably well-crafted with entertaining histories, personalities and connections. I cannot wait for the next book in this series. This is from one of my favorite authors. This is a must read for those loving Alien romance stories.

I hadn’t read the other books in this series but there’s an explanation of what’s going on in this story by Diana so this book can be read as a standalone I plan to read the others when I can I enjoyed this story and the characters. Diana was so stubborn but then I don’t blame her because who only wants to be known as a breeder for these alien Barbarians eventually Diana softened her heart. There’s plenty of action, adventure, suspense, danger, drama, passion and so much more to keep you entertained and turning the pages and I highly recommend this book it’s well worth the read.
Loved the book it was great, the story was written well and the characters were interesting. This story was about Diana and Vrihith. Diana after what happenedto her and her sisters she finds it hard to believe men are all the same, she does not want to settle she believes she is too young. Vrihith really like Diana he follows her everywhere to make sure she is alright, and that is exactly what he did when she was heading for the city, can he win her over or will he lose her? This series has been really good, with an ongoing plot arc throughout regarding the counsellors that has been resolved in this book. I thought it was cleverly done, a bit of karmic justice really. And I was equally happy that each sister is finally happy in a relationship after all they had been through and that the men all finally have hope as well. Win, win.

Diana is the youngest of the three sisters that left Earth for a better life on Xavren. She’s also kind of bratty. Or is she just afraid to love? Diana has caught the eye of Vrihith, a barbarian warrior who sees her fierce attitude as super sexy and attractive. Their enemies to lovers romance was sweet, although I wanted to smack her a couple of times, she deserved her HEA.
Vrihith The barbarian. Is looking after Diana I have to be so difficult? He follows her to make sure that she is safe. She believes that all men are the same and nothing changes. No matter how much he tries to protect her and possibly win her heart, Diana almost invites the Mayham that follows her. I do not know, what attracts her to him but he thinks she is worth it.

Out of the three sisters, she is the least of my favorites. It must have been that she is having difficulty coping with the situation and being left out now that her two sisters are mated. Xavren saves the day for her. Thankfully, she redeemed herself in the end.

This is another Alien men need Earth women to mate with but it’s a good story, following two others. This one is the story of headstrong Diana and Vrihith, a barbarian with the kindest heart. I only wish these books had phonetic spellings of all the names as it’s extremely frustrating trying various ways to say the names in your head hoping you have it right!
Whew, Diana and Vrihith’s romance is excellent. Their story is an intense, riveting, sexy tale. The evil city council members finally get their just rewards by the teeth of the evil winged carnivores. Diana finds she can have love and her mate while still being an independent woman!
Diana was always the one who would end up in trouble being the younger sister. He stays out the way but still protecting her from a distance. The chemistry is rocky but oh so wonderful. Storyline was great
An Alien Breeder Romance/ Barbarian Clans of Xavren series a well written sci-fi story that kept me turning pages. Diana and Vrihith’s story has suspense, drama, danger, deadly dratturs, twists, turns, and romance. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
