Wow! Laurelin Paige has definitely got my attention with this freebie prequel. I am completely and totally hooked on this twisted story. No doubt about it, I will be jumping right into the full-length book immediately!
'Dirty Filthy Rich Boys' tells the story of Sabrina Lind, Weston King and Donovan Kincaid, all students at Harvard. Unlike Weston and Donovan, Sabrina does not come from a wealthy family. She is attending on a scholarship and in awe of the extreme wealth of the students that surround her. No one has her attention more than the extremely handsome and rich playboy, Weston King.
Something about Weston caught her eye the first time that he waltzed into class late like he owned the world. Although she hasn't worked up the courage to approach him, she attends every party at the house that he shares with some of his friends. She watches from the shadows as he chooses a different girl every night to share his bed, never even noticing her.
Sabrina has her mind set on Weston, even though she realizes that one night with him is all she'd get. He never does repeats. Nonetheless, she wants him.
Then one night, Weston's best friend and roommate, Donovan, comes to her rescue. Suddenly, she is feeling conflicted. Donovan is older, and the Teacher's Assistant for her Business Ethics class. His hot and cold behavior only serves to make matters more confusing. Suddenly, Weston is not the only guy that Sabrina is fixated on.
I don't want to give too much away, so I'll just say that this was one hot little prequel. Holy hell! I was completely sucked into this story. This story was addicting and sexy. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. Oh...and that ending! I am definitely diving right into the full-length book immediately! I am hooked!

➦I guess what I'm trying to say is... this little tease of a novella is ON FIREEEEEEEEE!
➦And as a result I might be too. In serious need of one of these.
➦So what can I tell you about this little gem? Besides the fact that it will leave you hanging, wanting for more and itching for the day when you can get your grabby paws on the first installment of the Dirty Duet...?
➦The setting of this novella takes place in college and it's a glimpse into the past of the main characters. The duet will pick up 10 years later. But damn, they were so hot in college I'm seriously scared for my ovaries even thinking about what they are gonna be like all grown up!!!
➦If you liked Vicious by L.J. Shen then you'll probably like this. But this is filthier and juicier and faster paced. At least what I can tell from the 100 or so pages I've read so far. Give. Me. MORE.

Dirty Filthy Rich Boys is book #0.5 in the Dirty Duet series by Laurelin Paige. This is my very first book by Laurelin and oh my freaking gosh, what in the world have I been waiting for?
Sabrina Lind was a freshman at Harvard. She had worked her entire life for the scholarship she received. Sabrina had become somewhat obsessed with a fellow student, Weston King. She went to parties at his house and watched him with other women, dreaming that it could one day be her.
“He was my addiction. My obsession. My crush.”
When Sabrina was in a part of the house she wasn’t supposed to be in, she came face to face with Donovan Kincaid, son of Weston’s father’s business partner and close friend of Weston’s. He was also her TA in her Intro to Business Ethics class. Donavan’s words incited all kinds of feelings in her, both arousing and confusing. But in the blink of an eye, he went from engaging to ice cold.
Something else happened that night. Something unspeakable that would change Sabrina forever. But then Donavan rescued her. How could she ever face Donavan again?
Weeks later, she was again pulled back into their world when Weston finally did notice her. But again, something happens that changes everything.
This is a pretty short book but oh my gosh does it pack a punch. I loved Laurelin’s writing. I was instantly pulled right in and it never let me go. I want to know more about these characters. In this short prequel, we learn how they met. So now the story will fast forward ten years. They are all successful in the business world, and are about to once again, come back together. I can’t wait to see what happens next in the first book of the series, Dirty Filthy Rich Men.

DAYUM this little novella is angsty, sexy, and completely consuming! The author hooked this reader by gifting not one but TWO alluring rich college boys for the heroine.
The story makes for quick read and one that has left me quickly running to sign up for a chance of scoring an arc. I need to know what happens next to these characters stat!

Intense, scorching hot and deliciously dirty ! This prequel to the Dirty Duet series, hooked me from the start and I enjoyed it like crazy. OMG, Donovan Kincaid, you’re such a tease! Now that I met you, I need to know so much more about your sexy, complex, dark and captivating personality...and your undeniably twisted mind. With this little sneak preview, Laurelin Paige aroused my interest and I’m looking forward to read the full-length novel Dirty Filthy Rich Men, to get the real show.

Oh I loved It!
Donovan! You! You! You are such a manipulative, filthy, dirty bastard!!!.
When Sabrina Lind met Weston King in Harvard, she felt lust instantly.
Being a middle class girl, plain in her looks, extremely shy and with a hard obtained scholarship; there is no way Sabrina will be ever noticed by that filthy rich, spoiled, easygoing Weston.
Moreover Sabrina is still a virgin. Apparently, according to his bestfriend and housemate Donovan Kincaid, Weston does not like virgins.
Oh Donovan! Donovan has the gift of knowing how to use his power and authority for his own benefit. Any power he has at any specific moment. Right now he has the power to influence Sabrina’s grades, because he is the assistant of the professor.
And Donovan has noticed Sabrina and he has noticed Sabrina noticing Weston. Donovan will use any manipulation and any weapon available to make Sabrina his.
“If I fooled around with you, my scores might be affected,” I said, answering his last question.
“If you don’t fool around with me, your scores might be affected.” His tone seemed hard now. Cold.
We don’t really learn much about Weston from this teaser –apart from the fact that he knows how to please girls, he is easygoing, easy to talk. And that he likes teasing his best friend Donovan. I am looking forward to see how much dirty he can get.
There are life changes for Sabrina in the end of the novel. And (if I dare to say) the beginning of a game between Sabrina, Weston and Donovan which has to be paused for a few years before (I imagine) it will start in full force much later in their lives.

Oh my gah!! Laurelin Paige is such a tease! I need more IMMEDIATELY! I'm in cliffy hangover hell right now.
This prequel sets the stage for some very intriguing shenanigans. I can't wait to find out what happens next.
Here’s the breakdown: Sabrina Lind is a scholarship student at Harvard. She’s infatuated with the playboy heartthrob, Weston King. While semi-stalking him a party she has a run-in with the enigmatic Donovan Kincaid. Later events put her firmly in Donovan’s sights. She attempts to deny the change in her feelings for Donovan and eventually catches Weston’s eye. These three are destined to become entangled in a twisted web. You have to read it to find it what happens next!
What I absolutely loved: Umm….everything! I don’t even mind the cliffy hangover because this novella served its purpose perfectly. It was my first little taste of something good and now I’m anxiously awaiting more. I’ve read all of Laurelin’s published works and loved them, so I know Weston, Sabrina, and Donovan will be worth the wait. She excels at writing interesting alpha-hole heroes. Releasing the little tease of a novella is pure genius because I have to preorder the next book. BTW, you should too!

This was a great little intro for what I hope will be a fantastic series.
Sabrina Lind is at Harvard on a full scholarship, she is a bit of a loner but would like to change that by spending more time with Weston King who she has had a major crush on since she first laid eyes on him. While eyeing him off she stumbles across his housemate Donovan Kincaid who is a self righteous arsehole who demands attention.
I love'em mean and Donovan had me at hello. I am excited for the next book especially with where this one finished up. I have to give my congratulations to Laurelin Paige for being able to fit so much intrigue into such a short book.

He'd drawn me to him. That's the thing about Donovan Kincaid, the thing he was famous for-he was a known puppet master. He was a man who pulled the strings, and he'd pulled me to him.

Holy wow this book was one amazing prologue. I really liked that this story gave me a lot of information about these characters without being too much for such a short story. Instead, in just a small amount of pages Laurelin Paige was able to grab my attention and then left me begging for more. I already can't wait for the next book to come out and I know I'm going to love these characters when they get together again.

Make this your next read! I finished this crazy little novella and the only thought in my head was "WTF?!!??". Dirty Filthy Rich Boys is the free prequel to Dirty Filthy Rich Men (which is fast forwarded 10 years later) and introduces us to who I am assuming will be the 3 main characters.
Sabrina is living her dream and attending Harvard college. She is surrounded by good looking entitled rich boys but one has caught her eye - Weston King. She attends one of his parties, which is where she runs into her Ethics class TA, Donovan Kincaid. MY GOD IS THE BOY AN ASSHOLE. And the main reason I am so intrigued with this story and can't wait for Dirty Filthy Rich Men (which as I mentioned above picks up 10 years later.) Sabrina is drawn to both of these boys, but one seems to be taking over all her thoughts.
If these boys were dirty in college, I can't even begin to imagine what they'll be like all grown up. This novella seems like the start to a series full of twist and turns and DRAMA, and I can't wait to see how this all turns out.

And I'm hooked! Dirty Filthy Rich Boys is a short novella, which will introduce to you a new Laurelin Paige's series of books.
I can promise you that after this introduction you'll want to read this story. I'm definitely intrigued. The main story that happened in the next books will be 10 years later. But what happened before, during the novella, will be the main thread of the plot. And how could it be different after these events. My head is spinning with possibilities.
Sabrina is modest and shy young girl who went to Harvard on a scholarship. She wants to avoid the rich and privileged boys, but when she saw Weston King, was so intrigued that basically she started to stalking him. During one of these expedition, it turned out that it's she who is watched. Then, she met Weston's friend and her TA, Donovan Kincaid. And everything fell out of control.
It promises to be great. In this short prelude we had so many feelings, twists and turns that I just need this duet to went out. And let me tell you that it is already so hot and dirty as can be, at its best. Will it be a love triangle? I do not know, it could be anything.

This is definitely a nostalgic read
It’s the only reason why it gets so many stars. The next part gets less though.
Sabrina’s (17) into Weston, as in, she fantasizes about him. She’s at a house party, watching him with another girl (🙄). She sneaks to watch him upstairs (🙄) when a voice starts talking to her.
Donovan Kincaid (22).
He tells her Weston he’s not into virgins, and he can help her with that problem 😬. She calls him an a hole and leaves.
When she leaves though, she gets assaulted by another guy, Theo. Donovan comes in and saves her (also kicks his ass 💅).
One day when Weston sits next to Sabrina in class and they talk, Donovan gets jealous. So he does the only sensible thing a person in position of power can do-
He fails her paper 😅.
She confronts him and he clarifies that there IS a way she can change her grade… 🫣
I’ll leave this here 🔥

AND .... :::starts freaking out:: This man is an anti-hero if I've ever seen one. He's an asshole, almost a villain! Cruel and calculating and so fucking enticing I want to have my dirty way with him (not that he would let me. LMAO!) But shit....
The series starts with this novella -- Dirty Filthy Rich Boys. It's a FREE prequel that basically sets up Donovan and Sabrina's story. It gives you insight into Sabrina and why she thinks the way she does, why she feels the way she does, and what leads her to some of her reactions, choices, and needs further down the line. And let me tell you, it does have a few triggers for sensitive readers. That said, it's one of the BEST prequels I have ever read.
There is no doubt in my mind that when you read this, you will absolutely run to read the next book. You can't not. It's the definition of INTOXICATING.
Laurelin's writing is impeccable and her stories are so well thought out. I am such a MASSIVE fan of hers and she has once again left me on the edge, dying for more of her words, desperate to see what she does next. Bravo! Just WOW.

Okay first off let me just say I didn't expect anything less of Laurelin Paige because I am an absolute FAN of The Fixed Trilogy. I was so sure that she could never make a character that I could possibly love more than Hudson. But I think my relationship with him may be in danger because Donovan Kincaid is just OMG-sex-on-legs. Before I get into him (heh) let me just do a quick catch-up of what this prequel novella is about.
So we enter the life of Sabrina Lind, a business major that goes to college at Harvard! She's not like most of the students at Harvard. Instead of being at Harvard for being spoiled and privileged she is there on a scholarship that she worked her ass off for. She is a very conservative (dress like a sack and keep your v-card forever), innocent girl but is filled with nothing but curiosity. And she so happens to have a huge 'crush' on her classmate and Harvard's most popular freshman, Weston King. He. Is. Yummy. and very VERY adorable. Mmmmmmm Weston...... Anyways!!! She goes to all his parties, sees him with all these different kinds of girls, and is always contempt with keeping to the shadows. Until one night she decides to step out of her comfort zone and let her curiosity get the best of her. Which leads to her running into her the cold and cryptic Ethics class T.A., Donovan. And you know what they say, 'curiosity killed the cat'. She ends up in a situation that leaves her distressed and vulnerable to which Mr.sex-on-legs *cough* *cough* I mean Donovan luckily comes to her rescue. But she soon finds out that he is no hero. Donovan is hard as steel and is one big unsolvable puzzle. But that's not all there's to him. There's something truly dark and questioning under his stoic mask. Will that scare her off or will it just be fuel to her curiosity? Sadly we won't know until March 27th! I'm sooooooooo freakin ready for Dirty Filthy Rich Men!!! To hold us over, this Novella is not only coming out February 27th BUT it will also be free free FREE!!! Oh, and did I say Free?! This Very Short Shorty is a kind of prequel/prologue to the upcoming Dirty Filthy Rich Men - Book #1 in the Dirty Duet! About the time our darlings spent at college.
And after this little booky we fast forward ten years....
But what a prologue it is! Jeez! Laurelin lets us meet Sabrina and Weston & Donovan. The guys are best friends, Harvard students, rich sons. Bri is a scholarship student who left her widowed dad and her teenage sister behind in Colorado.
But as soon as she sees Weston, she's in lust/love. But then it's Donovon, four years older than Sabrina and Weston, who catches her attention more and more.
And it all happens so very interesting and mega-exciting and sexy and sad and grrrr. I can't wait to read the full-length book. This is going to be an AMAZING 2-book-series!

This was a great start for what's to come! I have already my preference and I'm really anxious to know what Laurelin has in store. While Weston was easy-going and seemed more laid-back, Donovan was so well in control all the time. The air around him was thick and this man is more than dangerous than he seems!
In a few chapters, the tension is rising and we got one hot scene! Damn I want more!

I am reading this series not in order. Even it is not in order, I still have admiration for Miss Paige. Her writing is fast pace, full of plot and twist and so much fun.
Since this is only a novela, everything is in fast paced. Just a quick glimpse in the past where Donovan and Sabrina met. Miss Paige is preparing us on the ride on the next book.

Ok, so this is a Laurelin Paige book, so did you expect anything less than 5 FREAKING STARS?! I think not! Ms. Paige has left me utterly SPEECHLESS in less than 100 pages! WHAT. THE. FUCK. JUST. HAPPENED?! This was RIDICULOUSLY GOOD!!! I just know that this series is going to be some of her BEST WORK!

Holy shit! This book is like a huge foreplay, prelude to Dirty Filthy Rich Men. I can't believe I have to wait another whole damn month for Rich Men. So in this book we are introduced to Sabrina, Weston, and Donovan. Sabrina is a freshmen at Harvard on an academic scholarship. Weston is also a freshman handsome, sexy, and popular. Sabrina has a mini crush on Weston but her plan of snooping on him backfired when she was caught by Donovan watching Weston doing the deed. Donovan is a TA for one of Sabrina class - he is brooding and an asshole. One proposition later, Sabrina could not kept Donovan off her mind. At the same time Weston finally taken noticed of Sabrina and asked her out. Poor Sabrina, she was burned bad - Donovan ended up breaking more than her heart ❤️. Then tragedy strikes - Sabrina left Harvard, lost her scholarship and never look back. Until now ... at the end of the book Sabrina found herself attending a conference where she will come face to face with Weston and Donovan - the speakers. And Then ... that is it folks. We have to wait until the end of March.
OMG! I can't even ... Sounds like Sabrina is all grown up and matured. Donovan seems to aged well handsome as ever. Shit is gonna hit the fence I just know it. It's gonna be an angsty, bumpy ride!
