Anything for You - Another great family!! I was so sad when the Bennett saga ended, but the Connors are even better. Filled with laughter, heartbreak and beautiful characters Layla Hagen has done it again. Landon Connor has had his share of heartbreak and while spending time with his family Maddie brings out feelings he thought he would never feel again. The give and take between the two made me laugh as well as wipe a tear from my cheek. Cannot wait for more in this series!!
Wild With You - Once again Layla Hagen takes the reader on a wonderful heart warming journey with the next installment of the Connor Family saga. Lori, a single mother and event planner thinks that the wedding she is going to be planning will be a special event. What makes it even more special is the feelings she feels for the Best Man, Graham. But will Lori give herself time to enjoy the relationship with Graham, or will she shut herself off and concentrate on her son? What happen when the boy's father comes back and needs her help? I absolutely love the Connor family!! The siblings display strength and determination to help one another get through every obstacle. The romance between Lori and Graham is one that the reader can't help but fall in love with. Layla Hagen never disappoints!!
Meant For You - A wonderful portrayal of finding your true love but needing to let go of your insecurities to get your HEA. Paige and Will have instant chemistry and their love affair is scorching hot, but can Paige really fall in love with a man who is put in danger every day? Can Will make understand that his life is more than just being a man with a gun day after day? With beautifully written characters and a storyline that had me locked in from the opening pages this was a great read. I love the family dynamics interwoven in the book and look forward to more siblings in future releases.

Anything For You
We knew it we coming, in the last book in the Bennett series (Your Endless Love) we started to get more insight into the Connor family. Now it’s their turn for their own books. Six children, four raised by the two oldest, Landon and Valentina.
Landon has lost a lot in his life. First, his parents and then his wife. Four years after her death Landon’s been using work as a crutch but is finally beginning to think that he needs something more. So he leaves his work-life in San Jose and returns to L.A. for a holiday with his family.
Maddie is a passionate landscaper. Despite being discouraged by her ex, she’s determined to make a go of her business. She’s currently landscaping Valentina’s house. That’s where she meets Landon.
This is their love story. They fall hard, but each have baggage that pulls them away from the other. We watch them wrestle with their feelings and grow as characters as their love for each other deepens. Both of them are deep enough to know that this is what is happening, it’s just that they have good reasons and experiences that pull them back.
It’s another tender and sweet, hot and sexy novel from Hagen. At the end of the book we’re not only happy for Landon and Maddie, but we’re dying to meet the rest of the family.

I love Layla Hagen's books. I remember being crushed when I picked up the last in the Bennett clan saga knowing that they would leave me. That's when I realized we would get a whole new series about their cousins in L.A. The Connors.
This is Graham and Lori's story. Graham is the manager of a football team (yay for proper football of the soccer kind...). Lori is a single mum taking care of her son Milo. Milo's Dad is a bit of a shit to be honest. He was rubbish back when she discovered she was pregnant and has not apparently developed a character since then.
By contrast, Graham is all man. Not just in the bedroom (although there too, thank you Layla) but as a person. He may not always get stuff right (and of course the path to true love is littered with obstacles), but he tries. And we watch him try and grow. Lori too, because she has to learn to trust again after basically removing herself from the entire dating scene and concentrating on Milo.
So this is hard for me to say but this isn't my favourite book. I felt that the writing wasn't quite the magic that I've come to expect from Layla Hagen's books. It felt a bit flat at time. Things happened, but I missed scene set up, and even some of the emotional agonising about what had happened. It's not that it's not there, but I could have used more... I think it would have rounded out the characters and given them even more depth. They are strong people, but sometimes they felt a bit 2D rather than 3D.

Paige is an Army daughter. She knows what it's like to have people you love in combat, potentially lost, potentially die. She longs for love but as her Mom points out maybe she's been closed to it out of the same fear that she might lose that person.
This is Will and Paige's story, how their irresistible draw to each other morphs into something stronger, something that will survive and find its way to love. It's also another delightful book from the desk of Layla Hagen, all the things you expect, tender and sweet, hot hot hot, a good plot with beautiful characters.
