"What happened between the four of us—it changes everything."
Everything in my life has been turned on its head. My allies have become enemies, and my enemies have become...
I don't even know what.
There's no denying the pull between me and each of the Icons anymore. I've denied it long enough, and I'm done letting secrets fester between us.
I know they want me too. But how am I supposed to choose between them?
Why do I have to?
This is the final book in the Clearwater University series, a new adult reverse harem bully romance. Due to language and intense sexual situations, it is recommended for readers 18+.
Eva Ashwood has been a reader her whole life and a writer for several years. She loves telling stories of alpha males and the fierce women who bring them to their knees.
She's a sucker for reverse harem, bully romance, enemies to lovers, heroes who redeem themselves, and all the drama and passion of new adult love.
I read all three and it just wasn't deep enough. A lot of it was childish but basically the plot was shallow. Could have been really delved into with the who told his dad ,the friend betraying and then the hacker. I always say that I want the writer to show me not tell me ,and in this cause its never more true. She glossed over all the hacking and i was told what happened and what she did to fix it. This book focused more on the sex than anything else ...so for me it just went from book one being three to last book being one star. And can I just say we know absolutely nothing about other two men in this so-called harem. None of their personal life is shared its all about Trent and Emma. I say so called harem cause for two n half books they gritted teeth at each other getting her then all of a sudden it was a o k . yep didn't work well as a reverse🤷
Yeesh. I don’t know what happened, but this series was not great. I’m super disappointed about it because I loved her Slateview High series.
This book was mostly just the guys and Emma dealing with periodic problems with the psycho ex-roomy, who is apparently using The Force to continue her hacking hijinks while behind bars. 🤡
And the guys and Emma have loads of sex. Loads. They eventually find their way to an RH relationship.
Basically Emma runs the show. Apparently the previously virginal h needs to teach these dominant alpha badasses all about The Sex. She’s the ringleader and seductress and sex teacher. As if these 20 year old dudes can’t figure out all the ways to have sex with her as a group. 👀
Aren’t they sweet? 💅🏻

Weak heroine. Can’t resist the 3 hotties. Okay-ish groveling. Such a let down of a climax. No real character connection for me, at least.
What’s West’s back story? Don’t know.
What’s Reese’s back story? Don’t know.
Was Emma on birth control? Don’t know.
What all went down when Leslie finally got caught? Don’t know.
How did Emma’s dad step up for her after taking a break from Claire? Don’t know.
Emma said she loves her job, what exactly does she do there? Don’t know.
You know what I do know? How the sex is considering it’s all the damn series is wrapped around. Constant porn scenes. Jesus.
If the same energy was put in to the entire storyline matched the amount of energy put in to the porn scenes, this might actually have been better.
So many loose ends that were never tied up. Opened topics never really closed or mentioned again. Beyond annoying. I also find it unbelievable that all 3 men are so caveman, possessive, jealous and territorial over her being with the other through the ENTIRE series then one sex sesh and it’s, huh. This will work! Okay? Okay. Now bend over.
What?
Recommend this series? No. Hard Pass. You won’t be missing anything you probably haven’t read before at least 3 times in the RH world.
Thi series got gradually worse the thinly veiled plot is barely used so you don't really have any idea why Leslie did what she did. The guys go from not wanting to share to everything's perfect and there's no consequences anywhere down the line for any actions
Pages: 250 My rating: 3.5 Read other books by this author in the future: yes MC: Emma, Tent, Reese, West SC: Leslie, Paul, Clair
Third and final book. There are a lot of secrets between the group but the guys want to defend Emma badly. This is the book where the rh finally really starts. Before she had encountered with one guy but this changes.
Also they overcome their enemy to friend relationship.
I loved the books and the growing relationships. No more enemy to lovers trope. They stick together and have a common Enemy. There is a very good ending to the story.
HEA(?): Yes! What a Great Conclusion & I Love The Bonus Epilogue as well! Romance: 5/5 Heat: 5/5 Bully Scale: From the Guys: 0/5, From another character: 3/5 Drama: 4/5 Suspense: 3.5-4/5
I also received Book 3 to Review and to me it was Great(!) in Audio as well & wasn’t disappointed at all, if anything the 3rd book definitely needed to be heard in Audio!
No Spoilers! Such a great Book! And Highly Recommend! I’m so glad I One-Clicked each book when they came out and then read this series as a whole, I’m a truly satisfied reader!
Who Falls Hardest is the best conclusion that I would have wanted for Emma, Trent, Reese, and West! Eva Ashwood definitely delivered on a happy ending for our favorite foursome from Clearwater University.
We waste no time diving into book three as we see Leslie still coming after our group. She wants Emma and the boys to suffer and she’ll do her best to make sure that happens. But Leslie isn’t the only stressor for the Icons. Tensions are at an all time high in the house as the guys wait to see want Emma wants. When you have three stubborn, hot headed, alphas in close quarters vying for the same woman, its inevitable that things will come to a head.
Now that being said, there is so much growth and maturity happening in these pages, not just from the Icons, but Emma too. I loved it. They grew together as individuals and as a unit.
This is a must read for fans of the series, especially if you want to know how Emma and her boys come together! How will they take down Leslie? What does Emma’s future look like? Will the Icons be able to work as one? One click today and find out!
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
I binge read all three books within a day, about 20 something chapters per book. They were extremely short in my opinion. I know that there's a connection between all of them but I wish there was more back story or something. I also want to know how the hell did she not get pregnant, like was she on birth control or something. I still don't fully get why Leslie was after them and I'm still wondering why they brought up that girl from high school that Trent apparently hooked up with. Their sex scenes were hot though.
Shallow story line. No character development. I didn’t feel connected or invested in the characters or conflict. The hacker was just a stupid plot point and the author really just tacked it on the first book and she never really developed character motivation. Overall this series was a waste of time for me.
**this rating is based on the entire series, not just this one book.
I was scrolling through KU at 3 am this morning in search of a good RH book when I stumbled upon this one, and then proceeded to read all three books (they are very short, and while the writing is definitely choppy and the author time jumps a lot, it's still easy to get through.)
Bully books are hella clichéd, especially high school ones, and this is no different. The reason behind the bullying in the first place is so fucking dumb, and just one conversation could have easily cleared everything up. Trent, the ringleader of this group, figured the worst in our heroine Emma, and his two other best friends, West & Reese, who were also best friends with Emma and IN LOVE with her just blindly followed Trents actions and made her life a living hell without thinking twice about it. *major eye roll.* they were all soooo in love with her but yet immediately decided she was this evil succubus who needed to be punished. *sigh*
Book one is a lot of telling but no showing about the bullying, and between the constant time jumps, over the top plot line and underdeveloped characters, not much goes on besides some hate sex.
Book two is much of the same for the first half, until Reese & West use their brains and realize that the girl they love just might have been telling the truth all along!! Romance isn't dead yet guys! I'll admit, I did like the soft moments Emma and Reese had, and I equally enjoyed her with West. They both seemed to have a connection with each other besides just hate fucking everywhere. But Trent is just so stupid 🙄 i don't think I've rolled my eyes so hard before at a supposed hero.
As for book three, that's where things really improved. The writing got a LOT better, and I felt the connection between all of them truly start to form. It's at this point that Trent realizes just how wrong he is, and grovels for pretty much the entire book which I definitely enjoyed. Reese & West became the best versions of themselves with their girl, but the main thing holding everyone back was who Emma was ultimately going to choose.. until she just decided not to. Even though she's been having sex with them all this entire time, this is truly the only RH book in the series for me. By the time it really started to take off though, it was basically over, and I wish we got to see more of them all. I also wished their individual relationships were fleshed out a bit more. We never really get any insight on who these boys really are outside of bullying and Emma's vagina (🤷♀️) but I did enjoy Trents redemption. The other two definitely deserved her more, but I love the fact that he realized that, but he still wasn't going to lose her again. Plus when they all started their group hump, those scenes were quite dirty, which was needed after all the over the top drama lamas.
Overall this was just an ok series with a pretty good ending. The last book is hands down the best, but I feel like these books had the potential to be *so* good, but it was all just surface level for so long. I felt like giving up multiple times, but my ass was invested so I powered through.. though I am glad i did. Like I've said, the third book almost made up for the previous two.
If you're looking to dip your toe in the RH romance world this would make a good starting point. Just beware that some of the major plot points are truly dumb, but this author does have some potential. I just may check out her other books.. at a later date.
Such a disappointment. The last book was boring and nothing happened except a lot of sex. I hate when an author doesn’t show you on page things, instead they gloss over it and just tell you what happened. I wanted to know more about West and Reece’s childhood and backstory. I felt like we got some of Emma and Trent, but nothing really on the other guys. Also I wanted to know who was Leslie. Aside from Emma’s roommate who turned on her, who was she? Where did come from and I REALLY would’ve liked to know what happened after she got arrested. What was her reasoning for turning on Emma. Jealousy obviously, but why exactly.
This book was definitely the spiciest of the three, but the plot felt almost nonexistent. There were so many directions the story could have taken, but it ended up feeling bland and underdeveloped. That said, I still enjoyed it—it just wasn’t my favorite series from Eva Ashwood.
I absolutely loved this series. I was skeptical with the reviews as they were either really bad or really good. Im glad I went ahead and it read it. The first book wasnt as good as the other two in the series but I got sucked in quick and couldnt put this series down. Love/hate/bullying/reverse harem/smut.
I mean I still don't think the "big bad" in all this actually had any motive, but the story still moved at a good pace with enough steamy scenes peppered throughout to be really enjoyable!
Had me gripped from the start loved this RH series. West, Reese and Trent just had me swooning in the end absolutely love their love for their girl and all they went through to get their happy ending... So good!
I have greatly enjoyed this series and to have it come to an end was both sad and satisfying. Eva knows how to get the readers attention with great characters and a fast paced plot.
In Who Falls Hardest Emma and Icons are trying to figure out what Leslie is trying to do. Why is she trying to hurt Emma and the guys? It has come to light who ratted out on Trent's mom about her affair. He always thought that Emma did it. Now he knows, he has alot of making up to do. So do West and Reese. But will Emma have anything to do with them? It does not help that every turn they make Leslie is right there to mess things up again. Or will it be her dad when ever he finds out about the guys? Can they find a way to overcome past hurts, and people trying to tear them apart?
Who Falls Hardest was such a good and satisfying final book. A lot is going on here, with so many questions answered, and yes lots of steamy scenes. I am not going to reveal if they get their happy ever after, but I will say that I am very pleased with the ending.
I usually love Eva Ashwood. I can't believe she wrote this. I feel like she almost didn't know what to write about and had a major deadline so it was just "I'll just throw this together".
The plot just ended up being so...disheveled???? I don't even know if that's the best way to describe it. I'm surprised at the high star reviews.
I don't feel like this was well thought out, I feel like the antagonist was silly, I feel like the twist was "I don't know what to do at this point so I'll just make it this", and the characters were not very strongly developed.
Sometimes it’s hard being a reader. Being so completely invested in how a story ends is exhausting. Ems finally has her men. But for how long? Everything is falling apart around them. Leslie is bringing her A game against Emma, West, Reese and Trent and she’s not pulling any punches. Poor Emma keeps waiting for the other shoe to drop and Trent to turn on her again. Will Leslie’s attacks be enough to push the group together—or apart for good?
This series is so painful. The men treat Emma so seriously terribly and do things to her that truly should not be forgiven. For years. Then she just turns on a dime and falls in love with them. There is not enough development of the “before” relationships to justify her going back to them after all that they do to her.
I absolutely loved every second of this series. The guys put her through hell. She put them in hell lol but in the end they all got their HEA.
Leslie is behind bars as well as her accomplice.
Claire and Paul are together and happy.
The guys and Emma are together and happy. What more can you ask for? I mean besides a look into the future of all these characters. I hope Eva writes novellas to show us the future of all hers books.
Amazing.

Here’s my favorite quotes
The two texts from my dad are short. No words wasted. And every single word stops my heart. DAD: Ems, there’s been an accident. DAD: Claire didn’t make it.
“I’ve been doing some digging to try to figure out who told Trent’s dad about your parents. Who tipped him off to the affair. For so long, Trent was sure it was you, but…” He holds up his phone. “It wasn’t. I knew it.” ~West
“No, Ems.” He shakes his head emphatically. “No. She didn’t get what she wanted. I fell for her bullshit, yes. I was an idiot and an asshole, and I fucked you over in ways I’ll never forgive myself for. But if she was hoping she’d get a chance with me by betraying you, she was wrong.”“It’s always been you, Emma. Always. No one else. Even when I hated you, I couldn’t look away from you. I never stopped thinking of you. You consumed me. You still fucking do.” ~Trent
“But… it’s not enough.” Trent closes his eyes, his shoulders slumping a little. West’s jaw clenches, and I see a pained expression pass over Reese’s face. ~Emma
“No.” I shake my head. “It wouldn’t have lasted. Things would’ve fallen apart eventually. Because I cared about you all. I wanted you. I still do. But I don’t know how to choose between you. And I refuse to destroy your friendship.” ~Emma
As we do, my gaze lands on Emma. She’s still got her hand on the doorknob, and her jaw is hanging open slightly. She looks scared. Shocked. Pissed. And heartbroken. ~West
“Ride him,” Trent rasps out. “Let me see what you look like when you’re fucking him.”
“You’re not my fucking sister, Ems. You’re not my enemy. You’re not my vendetta. You’re the love of my goddamn life, and I’m gonna show you exactly what that means.” ~Trent
I turn toward the door, but stop with my hand on the knob and look back over my shoulder. “I used to think you were one of those people to me. Now I know better. But I should thank you for helping me find the people who really are.” ~Emma to Leslie
I globally liked the series and keep a nice memory of it while remembering it a few months later. And I did read it all in a 2 to 3 days, so I was enough in to the drama to not drop it.
The first book was a bit annoying because... well you do not hate your best friend without even asking is its true. I do get you need to put a plot, and they need to hate each other... but if it doesn't seem plausible, it is just annoying. and, The-way-too-nice-and-open-and-understanding-roommate just made me tick. or maybe I have trust issues... who knows. The 3 boys just fit in the stereotypical RH : one leader, one mass of muscle, one "fun and funny". I fell there could have been more there. More depth, more back story...
Then in book 2... I don't know, can you really crave people you hate. I do feel disgusted by the people I hate; I do not want to jump their bones. Again, maybe just me. However, I felt it was too easy to say "ho no my head and heart know I shouldn't but my body can't be stopped"... but this gives for a lot of sex scenes, and I guess you don't pick up an Eva Ashwood book for the picturization of the scenery... PS; there is just 1to1 sex so far, I believe. I think all the RH is in book 3.
So book 3 was nice cause you finally get the 4 together … together It’s a fast read, you get in the story and you want to know how it will end. I do however feel that we could have known more about the other boys… Then, also all the hacking and all… It feels like too much, going too fast. I don’t know, I would say the idea was great but could be brought better.
For me, books got better through the series. I would recommend to read it once. Not lost time
Who Falls Harder, the third installment in the Clearwater University series, is an enthralling reverse harem romance that masterfully intertwines themes of bullying. As the final book in this captivating trilogy, it's where all loose ends are tied and the plot reaches its explosive climax. The harem finally blossoms in full force, providing a satisfying culmination to the slow-burning tension that has been building throughout.
As an ardent admirer of medium burn moments myself, I found the way everything seamlessly fell into place to be a testament to perfect structuring within reverse harems. The relationships evolved beyond mere plot devices, embedding themselves as integral parts of the narrative.
What truly stood out for me was witnessing the character development over the course of this series. While there were notable transformations among all characters, Emma's journey was particularly striking. She transitioned from passively accepting her circumstances or hiding behind her male counterparts to assertively steering her own path. This evolution added depth and nuance to her character and elevated the entire reading experience.
In conclusion, Who Falls Harder is a riveting read that capably balances romance and drama while delivering on character growth - a real gem in its genre!

Leslie, Emma's roommate was a psycho hacker, she once was seen as Emma's friend, but in reality this girl wants to ruin her because she thinks Emma is pretend to be a victim... uh wtf.
Ok, the story starts right after Emma and the Icons revealed Leslie, and Leslie was taken by the police into a facility as she seems to have personality disorder. However, Leslie doesn't disappear in their life. Instead she kept appearing and wanting to make them suffer, in which she did, with all the stress that she created. But, what she did was to unite Emma with Trent, West and Reese further more, a deeper bond and love.
Now after the icons shows Emma how they wanted to protect her. Tension was formed, to see what Emma wants from them and who will she choose. Well, she choose all of them. So what will happen between Emma and the Icons? How does Leslie kept being involved in their life? How will Emma and the Icon's future be? With all the bullying actions of the icons, will they make it up and does Emma truly forgive them?
This is filled with development and growth among the characters. Well paced and filled with steam lol.
Well this book was kind of more predictable that i was hoping for. They really throw a plot twist at you in book two but then this book i found to be predictable which bummed me out, but still a super good series that i would definitely recommend to anyone who loves reverse harems.
The books starts where the last one ended. Them having to prove their innocence with the stolen car and how they are being hacked. They all team up together and they all vow to protect her now. They spend the book gaining her trust back along with trying to get her to fall in love with them individually. It stresses her out but eventually she gets the guts to tell them she can’t choose and wants all of them when she finds them fighting over her in their house. She gets them to see the benefits of all of them sharing her and they fall into a routine together. Eventually she has to come clean to her dad though about everything and things go as expected. But he eventually comes around. They also get Leslie to slip up and it ends with them getting her attested and their problems are all solved especially once the guys get her back into school.
