letting this whole series go is sooo hard it was like a little home and i felt apart of their little friend group, it was so good i really enjoyed this book and most of the others 🥹🤍
Being pregnant did make, Holly a single mother. Her creepy husband leaves her, saying she got pregnant on purpose. When they had agreed they would have no children. Sadie is three and he has never met her. His mother had watched her three times a week so she could work on her blog. Filing for divorce, her ex-mother-in-law said, she could no longer have any contact, with Sadie. Out of respect for, her son’s wishes.
Divorce is final so, a new chapter. She is starting a new job with, the Utah Fury Hockey team. While her daughter starts, a new preschool. She got the job because, Chloe used, to read her very successful, mommy blog. Now, she social media manager for, the Fury. On her first day at work, her ex-Peter wants, to sign off his parental rights, completely.
Mikey is called by his agent to come, to the admin office, they need to meet with the owner, GM, and coaches. He has no idea what all means exactly. He still has more than a year left on his contract so, it can’t be that, right?! After the higher-ups have their say his agent takes him to a conference to talk things over a bit. When he is finally leaving this meeting, he runs into this woman who instantly dislikes him.
Mikey can see how attractive she is, but it baffles him as, to why she hates him. Then, he is warned by the guys, to stay away she has things going on, and, she doesn't need a party boy. Now, doesn't that just say touch, when they say, don't touch? They keep running into each other. All is good until, a team dinner when he sees, she has a daughter. Then, it's all about avoiding her. Until a park day when Milo and Finn want Uncle Mikey to push them on the swings. And sweet Sadie tags along. She asks, me too, her giggle wins his heart.
See how they go from avoiding one, another to being each other's confidants and friends. I love how we get to see Mikey so vulnerable when he was always so woman crazy and off the charts. I love that everyone did accept Mitch’s truth and supported him wholeheartedly. This is a very good series.
I enjoyed this story a lot. It was sweet and the storyline was intriguing as I am a sucker for a single mom/hot athlete romance. This is a clean romance but kept me entertained the entire book. I did finish reading with a tear in my eye as this one hits you with the feels
I absolutely loved this story and adored Sadie, I know that it happens where a father (or mother) just doesn't want anything to do with their child I don't understand it though. Sadie was a lucky child who found so much better in Mikey, he loved her when it wasn't even expected.
I didn't want the series to end. I feel like I'm leaving old friends. Mikey, Holly and little Sadie were a delightful relationship to end on. The happily ever after ending balanced out the end of a hockey career. Such a great picture of how much the Pride and the Fury team were truly a family. Beautiful story and series.
What a wonderful ending to a great series. I loved how everyone was included in all the books so you could continue their story as well. Sad this is the end of something I looked forward to.
I love the Utah fury I actually live in utah and love that she has made the city a character in the stories I am sad that this was the last one but I like the royals books to thank you for an amazing series
I absolutely loved the entire 14 book series! I’m sad that this is the last Utah Fury book. It’s easy reading but you get so involved with the characters. I love that the main characters are throughout the entire series.
I hate to see this series end! I've loved the Pride and the Fury family! Mikey and Holley made the perfect ending to this chapter although, I'd really like to see what is to come for Mikey! We'll done!
I can’t believe this is over after 14 fun romance novels. I love intertwined series and I’m so glad I found this one (huge plus the author and I have the same favorite real NHL team!). Definitely checking out her other stuff.
I absolutely love this series. I enjoyed the building of the characters and families. I am sad to see it come to an end but have enjoyed the ride greatly.
