This is a well written book and the characters are interesting, but the plot leaves a lot to be desired. The main character behaves in a ridiculous manner, and lacks the charm of a character like Stephanie Plum.
There was something so funny about a proper Southern woman getting mixed up in crime, Murder and real estate. Not to mention the man tangled up in them! This series is written in such a spunky way that had me laughing out loud while on the edge of my seat, wanting to know what happens next.
New real estate agent Savannah Martin stars in this 2 book bundle about scenarios that could happen during open houses. Savannah is trying to support herself with this new opportunity, after her lying cheating husband was caught with another woman. Lots of action in these stories and I would certainly read this author again.
I found the plot okay. The characters were interesting, but the timeline between the murders in mysteries one and two were just a little too close to be believable. I did like that the stories were told in the main character's voice.
This story kept you on your toes until the end.. Lots of action and suspense. Loved the romantic draw between Race and Savannah. Just wish she would give in to Rage and get it over. Can't wait to read the next book and see what happens between them.
