The setting and the final plot twists are standard, the mystery isn't very outstanding but it is nothing bad neither. As a whole it's entertaining and reasonable enough a murder mystery. Thankfully Mr. Shimada is keeping up his quality, even after so many books.

又是一部岛田拿手的感人小说，推理部分比较弱，读者其实完全可以在给出答案前了解真相。推理虽不如巅峰时期有趣好看，但岛田真是一个讲故事的好手。
