I need something. Something only Jonathan can give me. The boy I loved all my life. The boy who broke my heart when he left for fame and fortune. I have to suck it up and find him. I need his help.
It was supposed to be simple.
Until I fell for him again. Now he’s looking at me how I always imagined, like he wants me. How do I explain why I’m really here?
Jonathan
The world thinks I have it all. After all, I’m the drummer for the famous band, Full Moon. Truth is, I had to leave a lot behind to pursue my dream. My parents, my little brother, and the girl next door who I was secretly in love with. I’ve never regretted choosing music, but the past has just fallen back into my arms. I’m determined not to let her go this time.
TRUST is a friends to lovers rockstar romance. It's book 1 in the Jonathan & Camille duet and must be read in order.
What a Debut! Be prepared for an emotional ride, yet a story I could not put down. Secrets, lies, and half-truths all play their part in the first part of the story. It does end on a cliff, but I am off to read Fate now!
In a tale of two childhood best friends, Jonathan leaves and breaks her heart. He has to make a choice and chooses his dreams. His dream is music, and he becomes the drummer for a world famous band, Full Moon. Years later, Camille needs to find Jonathan. When she does, she is not forthcoming. As their relationship develops, will hearts be broken again?
OMG! Stacy Stone put me through the emotional wringer with Trust, and then throws me off the side of the cliff by the end so I'm truly not sure what to do with my hungover self. Camille & Jonathan's story is one for the ages as they started out in childhood until he broke her heart when he went off to live his musical dreams. I seriously hate when these boys do this because I do tend to have murderous thoughts while reading. She needs help in the present, and despite not wanting to, she has to ask him for it which brings them back face to face after a long period of time. He's the drummer in the famous band, Full Moon, and he knows he left a lot behind, including Camille. When she seeks him out, he's completely determined to not let her go again, but his lifestyle can be brutal, and Camille may or may not get caught in the crossfire. I know June isn't a long time away, but I'm still sitting here wondering how the hell I'm going to make it. And this is why I can straight up HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!
Trust is the first book in the Full Moon series and Stacy Stone’s debut novel. Trust is the emotional, captivating, and heartbreaking tale of two friends who separate and then connect years later to fall in love. Camille and Jonathan’s story is one of lies, deceit, and deception. Stacy has conveyed these characters' emotions very well, and I felt their every emotion. I loved these characters so much and they deserve their happy ever after. I need more because the cliffhanger is killing me!
Stacy writes a gripping of two people who lost each other when they were younger. Camille and Jonathan were the best of friends when they were young but Jonathan left. Why? He left because his father gave him an ultimatum, either family or music well, he chose music.
Johnathan has been living the life as a drummer in the band The Full Moon. He has not been home or had any contact with anybody back home including Camille, his childhood best friend. He does bump into someone that he thinks is Camille but looks very different. Is it her? Why would she be at his concert?
Camille needs to see Jonathan but there is a secret that she is not telling him. Can she forgive him for forgetting about her? Will he even remember her? What will he do if and when she tells him it is her?
They start a relationship but there are complications and Camille gets injured. What will Jonathan do? Does he want Camille so bad that he is willing to give up everything? What happens when Camille shares the secret that she had been keeping? Will she break his heart in the end?
This friends-to-lovers romance is one that will definitely pull on your heartstrings. Stacy has a way with words that moving and very emotional. Trust is the first book of Jonathan and Camille and the first one that I have read of Stacy's. I can't wait for the next installment of their story.
Wow this is my first book by Stacy Stone. And I love it. Camille and Jonathan story is about second chances. And wow the chemistry is amazing. I can't wait for the next book to find our what happens next.
Gahhhhh!!!! I want to scream at this book. I totally need to breathe and get my head on straight after that ending. Well not that the story ends here but the wait has me restless and wanting answers right now. I loved this story but have rated it as 4 star. Because I think to truly judge the whole story is what's best to decided how I feel. It's good but is it great.
Jonathan and Camilles story is a long tale. Starting in childhood and meeting again after years apart. I won't be saying much in regards to the story as it would spoil so much. My emotions remain all up in the air and my heart is broken. I smiled through lots of this book but I also shed more than a tear or two.
This is a bold, passionate and beautiful book. Its one I totally recommend but will reserve my full judgement until I have read Fate the last part of this duet.

Trust is a second chance, childhood best friends , rockstar romance. Jonathan is the boy next door drummer who leaves home to pursue his love of music. Camille is the restrained and over protected girl next door with the strict dad and sensible dress sense.
Camille has secrets. Jonathan is drawn to her Together they are heated and passionate. He brings out her wilder side while she calms him and awakens his heart again.
This story has lots of ups and downs and emotions around crazy exes, family fallouts, first love reawakened and sacrifices for those we love. The story isn't complicated or groundbreaking but I loved these characters, especially Camille. I found myself so frustrated at the lack of communication. But at the same time I understand the motivations for withholding information or being afraid.
This book was a watch the Kindle % and despair story as I knew there was too little % left in story terms for everything to be wrapped up. So be prepared for an emotional cliffhanger and realise it's another month to wait to find out how things turn out for this cute couple.
Jonathan and Camille have been neighbors all their lives. Camille is hopelessly in love with him, but an ultimatum from Jonathan's father leaves her with a broken heart. Years later, she has to find him, it's a matter of life and death.
The storyline was great, and after a mild slow burn, it picks up. The chemistry between the two mains turns up the heat. I enjoyed it, but my only drawback was, it seemed repetitive to me. I do recommend it.
This was a bit slow to start but once it got rolling was great. When Camille and Jonathan reconnect, they are fabulous. There were a couple good plot twists that keep you guessing. There are times Camille made me want to smack her for foolish decisions but she is young. I am very eager for the finale of this duet!
I wanted to like it, but there were too many inconsistencies,
Firstly I needed more information. How old were they? I guess they must’ve been at least 21 due to being able to buy alcohol in a bar. So Camille was 16 when Jonathan left?
They talk about how strict her father was…she’s 21 (I think) surely she would be allowed to go to a concert?
Five years isn’t a long enough time to not recognise someone. They were best friends and close, she has the same name! But he didn’t know it was her?? Not plausible, even with the hair colour being changed. Maybe it would make sense from a really young age to adult but not from age 16 onwards (which was never clarified).
When they were at the charity auction her dad was there but yet she left without saying goodbye after she was practically sexually asssaulted. Then she says she needs to get in the car of the person who assaulted her because she’s got no other way to get home….Uber maybe? The dad take her home? So many other options.
Any parent would call their estranged child to tell them their sibling has cancer. Even if it was to see if they were a match they wouldn’t not contact them. They then meet in a hallway and all is forgiven! If the parents had already known it was a mistake to give Jonathan an ultimatum why not contact him before then? Their son was on deaths door, yet they did nothing but Camille did. Again not plausible and goes against the flow of logical thinking.
Then at the end the brother kisses Camille possibly knowing that she was with Jonathan. Then in the next sentence after they are caught he says “I just got my brother back, and no one can take him away from me. He saved my life”. When was that concern a few minutes ago before he kissed Camille?
When a story line feels written just for the sake of words on a page, it just doesn’t work properly. Then when it’s filled with inconsistencies and nothing is logical, I’m afraid it just doesn’t read well at all.
It’s such a shame, there was promise in the story, but it just didn’t come together for me. I will download the next book to see if it improves or some of my many questions are answered.

The romance that laces the pages are beautiful. Stacy Stone has created a enchanting love story duet that pulls you into their world. Add in twists and turns that leave your jaw open and you guessing 𝐖𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐍𝐄𝐗𝐓...Absolutely in LOVE with this journey.
Jonathan is one helluva a smooth guy with a side dish of cockiness which is intoxicating. Who doesn't love an alpha who can play the drums.. 𝐃𝐑𝐎𝐎𝐋𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐓𝐇𝐘.
Camille is unsure of her true self but you really see her growth as a character as the book progresses which is mesmerising. She's sassy, loveable with a huge heart. But MAKES childish decisions ... don't we all..👀
"𝐌𝐲 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝, 𝐦𝐲 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐤𝐢𝐬𝐬, 𝐦𝐲 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞."
Jonathan and Camille's chemistry is pure passion. Their encounters are breathtaking, you feel their chemistry and feelings towards each other.
That ending absolutely has me 𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐄𝐂𝐇𝐋𝐄𝐒𝐒. The most heart fulfilling and emotional rollercoaster of a book and DAMN i need more pronto!
Jonathan refused To enroll in medical school because he wants to be a musician so that very night he leaves home. That night he also said goodbye to his best friend Camille. Even though she was willing to leave with him that night. He didn’t want her to lose her family like he just had. So I’m not sure how many years have gone by but Camille acts like a high school student, freshman. Jonathan is a famous rockstar, gorgeous, sexy and confident. Why he doesn’t realize it’s his friend Camille I’ll never understand because its even the same name. At this point I had to check out the book info because I thought I’d stumbled upon a young adult romance, but no so on I read. But I’m not going to lie, I’m getting bored. There are outings and conversations that mean nothing and don’t move the story forward. Oh did I mention this is a cliffhanger? Well it is and the ending sucks. I’m giving this book two and I’m not reading the rest of the series.
This was an awesome story. I was rooting for Jonathan and Camille the whole time. Their story was sweet and at the same time heartbreaking. I cannot believe how it ended. Camille was so selfless that she was willing to put her heart on the line to protect the one man that she loved. I thought it was awesome that Jonathan and Camille got their second chance and it was more than they ever could have imagined. I was definitely not expecting the ending to this story and it left me eagerly anticipating the next story to come out. I can't wait. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves romance stories. I received an ARC copy of this story and am leaving a voluntary honest review.
Camille Sinclair and Jonathan Moore have been next-door neighbors and friends for a long time. However, when Jonathan has a disagreement with his father about a career, he’s kicked out of the house and on his own. She’s ready to leave with him, to trust him and follow him but Jonathan knows that it’s not going to be an easy ride for him. He and his band mates have decided this is the time to make their musical mark and he leaves her behind.
Years later, she and her friend Karen show up at a Full Moon concert, but this wasn’t accidental Camille has planned this because she is there on a mission. She’s there to see Jonathan, her problem is she doesn’t know how to tell him why she came looking for him
Author Stacy Stone gives reader a story about family, disappointment and how much telling the truth matters when things go wrong. Things do go wrong several times in Trust, a lot of it because of lack of trust or rather a wish not to cause harm to people Camille cares for the most. When her time with Jonathan becomes more than just a rekindled friendship she isn’t sure if she should come out with her last secret. In the meantime their relationship has gone from friends to a couple with an obsession for each other. When alone there is a heat that consumes them and they lose themselves in each other.
The last truth comes out and for Jonathan it may well change his life. With the support of his band mates he takes a step he never saw himself taking. There’s always something waiting though and just when things are on solid ground again for Camille and Jonathan a person from his past is determined to damage their relationship. Will Jonathan and Camille ever get past the broken trust that is left behind? Readers will find out in the Fate, Book 2 of the Full Moon Series.
Holy Moly!! Trust by Stacy Stone wreaked absolute havoc on my heart and emotions. And even though I finished it a few hours ago I'm still picking up my mouth from the floor and getting my breathing under control as that cliffy ending had me gasping in shock and shattered my poor heart.
Camille & Jonathan's second chance romance story will take you on a truly emotional journey about first love, heartbreak, family, friendships, love, and sacrificing your heart to live your dreams or to allow someone else to live theirs.
Jonathan left his childhood friend Camille heart broken when he abruptly left her behind to live his rockstar dreams. Now a famous drummer in the successful band Full Moon what will happen when circumstances bring these two together again after so many years apart? While no longer the same people Jonathan has never forgotten the girl he left behind. And not only does he want her, this time he doesn't want to let her go. But will Camille be willing to risk her heart again? And will she survive his rockstar lifestyle? Their story which was steamy, swoon-worthy, a little angsty, heartbreaking, and riddled with a few twists and turns, had me utterly captivated from start to finish and left me absolutely desperate for Book 2. A HIGHLY RECOMMEND ROCKSTAR SECOND CHANCE ROMANCE STORY!
(Note:- Ends in Cliffy so prepare your heart and emotions)
Just wow , I cannot even express the emotion rollercoaster Stacy just put me though . What a phenomenal start to a two part Duet . Jonathan and Camille’s story has all the feels. It is literally impossible not to become invested from the very start . Before I know what was happening, I completely fell in love with their characters , they had my heart !!! Jonathan is now a drummer in a famous band , who had left home to pursue his dreams . But it came at a cost , especially when he left behind Camille , the girl he has always secretly loved ., Camille’s life is far from easy either . She had a extremely Over bearing father . But when she finds herself in a situation where she needs help , she seeks Jonathan out .their story is truly a emotional and beautiful one . My emotions where really all over the place . The off the charts chemistry between these two, the intrigue, the heartwarming as well as the heart wrenching moments, and the surprises you will never see coming . All these reasons are why you need to read this amazing book right away . This does end with a cliffhanger, that leaves you on the edge of your seat and anticipating the second half of this spectacular Duet . I highly recommend this awesome story
Trust is the first book in the Full Moon series. This Stacy Stone trilogy must be read in order.
Jonathon and Camille get a second chance in this hot rocker romance.
They once were childhood friends. Now Jonathon's a famous rock star and Camille is off to try to meet him again.
Honestly, this part is kind of strange. As much as we sense that Camille is trying to find Jonathon again, it's beyond weird that she doesn't really seem to be looking to meet him. But, if you can look beyond that, their story is a lot of fun.
Hot damn, these two are fucking HOT together. Once they give into their passion, there is no stopping them.
Of course, there's some emotional pain and anguish at times, due to a few different elements.
There's Camille's secret agenda and secret hanging overhead throughout. There are family issues, as Jonathon was driven away from home by his controlling father.
Trust had me riveted throughout. I don't love every decision these characters make, but this Stacy Stone romance had me reading as quickly as I could. But then, then it leaves off with a cliffhanger. UGH!!!! If you hate cliffhangers, WAIT to read this book.
WOW! This book was a total roller coaster of emotions for me. Stacy Stonewent straight to my list of favourite authors. She created a perfect story of two friends from childhood who got lost on their ways and found themselves years later. Even though they both changed a lot in these years, Jonathan is determined to never let Camille go again. I really loved how the author managed to present all these emotions of both main characters. I felt like I was living their story on my own skin. I was really hooked to the story from the first page to the last and would highly recommend it to all romance lovers.
Camille has loved Jonathan since he lived next door. His father gave him a ultimatum med school or music he choose music. It's been years since they seen each other but she has something to tell him.Camille never expected to fall in love with him again. Lots of twist and turns and you will ride a emotional rollercoaster. It for sure.Outstanding read although there is a cliffhanger and you will have a book hangover
3,5/5 The book was enjoyable and in general I liked the plot, but I think it was just too much sometimes. I was also a little confused with the characters and unfortunately, I couldn’t feel the chemistry begween - at the beginning Camille was shy, but then boom she’s a wildcat. Jonathan was also a tad confusing. I loved the twist in chapter 18 and the ending, can’t wait to read book two!
The cliffhanger!! I can't wait to read book 2. I'm currently crying on my couch as I just finished the book. I wasn't expecting the plot twist of his brother! But I was so glad they found there way back to each other, being childhood sweethearts to adults who are in love. I was in love with this book the minute I started reading!
This story was O F F the charts FANTASTIC!!!. Although I must admit it was driving me crazy with her secret. It was moving, exciting, entertaining and just WOW!!. Stacy is a Fantastic storyteller and is a PHENOMENAL writer!!!.
I liked the story line, but I found the characters very confusing. At the beginning Camille is shy and insecure, with a very protective parent, which made hard for me to pin point how old she was and within days her characters evolves into someone else, same as her parent.
Also Jonathan, by looking at the cover, I thought was in his thirties, but according with the story it shouldn't be the case, also I found intriguing the thought that after few years he wouldn't recognize someone who was so important in his life, but at the same time he would recognize her and remember everything, but maybe not (yes that's how I was feeling lol)
The plot twists were great and really shocking, even though the lack of communication between the characters made me rage a lot and that ending was like too much for my weak heart! Cliffhanger as its best!
Holy hell, what’d I get myself into with this one! My heart is shattered into a million pieces, leaving me with the aftermath to clean up. From first loves to first broken hearts, my emotions were all over the place and back again with this amazingly written story! Once starting, there was no way I could put it down as the author does such an amazing job of pulling the reader in, like you’re right there with these two characters, feeling every emotion with them. I can’t honestly remember the last time a second chance romance hit me the way this one did, but Stacey’s ability to make the reader relate to every aspect of this was like no other.
Camille is your typical girl next door with an overbearing father. When she sets off to find her first love, she never imagined their connection would come back full force. There’s consequences to being a rockstar, jealous one nighters, and Camille is caught in the crossfire.
Jonathan is such a gentle giant with a heart made of gold. He’s never forgotten about Camille, even though his fame and lights. When they come in contact with each other again, their fire is still burning and he’s not letting her leave his side again. When blindsided with an unexpected curveball, he’s unsure of what to do.
There’s so much love and happiness for these two more than deserving characters, followed by deceit and deception, that June cannot get here quick enough! Stacey broke my heart with this ending, and killed me with this cliffhanger, but the fun throughout will leave you feeling calm and ready for more of Jonathan and Camille!
All I have to say is...How do you not recognized your best friend/ childhood crush after only 5 years of not seeing them? You have her name for gods sake. Ridiculous. Was in the mood for a rocker romance and this did nothing for me. Hopefully it does more for someone else cause I am going to pass on reading the next one. Did I mention this couples story drags into the next book? For Whyyyy? no thanks.
