Wang Jin found a beautiful drunk mixed-race boy on the side of the road. He looked pretty at night and couldn’t help bringing him home and sleeping with him. When he woke up the next day, he found out that the beauty was a minor .
This is the story of two people who met by chance, their lives turning from narcissism and selfishness to falling in love with each other’s trivialities.
Honestly the relationship between Wang Jin (MC) and Yan Rong (ML) was quite problematic, mostly due to the large age gap between the two of them; 17 years to be exact, and the fact that YR was still in high school when they started dating (having sex).. talk about yikes! But then again, the author *did* warn us that the characters wouldn't have a conventional relationship.
Anyway, I got over the age gap pretty quick after I started reading because their relationship gradually evolved into one where feelings were involved and well. As far as MCs go, WJ wasn't that big of a scumbag and he treated YR really well, apart from the first time they had sex where it wasn't exactly consensual since YR was drunk.. yikes again!
Moving on, I often thought that the story would've been better if the ML was at least out of high school. I mean, my god. Imagine having your boyfriend being misunderstood by your schoolmates as your father.. yeah NOPE. And the daddy kink that was revealed near the end of the main story really threw me off because I *really* didn't vibe with it.
The ending was kinda cute and the way WJ doted on YR throughout the story was mad sweet, so I was glad that they could have a happy ending and that the people closest to them supported their relationship as well. This was overall quite sweet and fluffy if you choose to ignore all the questionable parts of the story.

Honestly the actual age gap isn’t something that would generally throw me off, just the fact that they met when Yan Rong was younger put me off a bit. Also the fact of their first meeting, especially since Wang Jin himself was totally sober.
Wang Jin was very patient and sweet with Yan Rong, especially after they got together. I truly did like Wang Jin as a character. He supports Yan Rong and wants to make sure he is loved and feels comfortable enough to express himself more. I like that no one is inherently bad or good. The distance Bai Tu and Liang Xi put between them made me sad especially since Yan Rong was so excited to be picked by a family. It made me sad that the only time Yan Rong got to experience any kind of family love and being taken care of and allowed to express himself was with Wang Jin. Despite the distance Bai Tu really did care about Yan Rong and was trying his best to take care of him, I really appreciate how protective he was of Yan Rong.
Overall, I really enjoyed reading this!! I absolutely adored Yan Rong,, he really deserves the most happiness! Although they had a dubious start and I would have preferred a later start to their relationship, they really were super sweet and fluffy together. Also it is understandable why it developed this way given Yan Rong’s personality.
