With the supernatural ability to foretell death, I expected to keep deadly company. But I never anticipated being prisoner to a horde of immortality-seeking undead. I was finally accepted by the HDPU — then I went and traded my freedom for my mother’s. Now, it’s my turn to endure abuse at the hands of the vampires who want my prophetic powers.
But I’m still being hunted. Turns out not all vampires are on board with having a pet banshee on the leash, and some still want me silenced... for good. Time to kill two vamps with one stone — er, scream. With my mom aiding Seke and the team, we can show these fangers just what the last two banshees can do.
Hopefully, I can complete my self-appointed mission before someone succeeds at putting me in an early grave.

Grave Notice is the action packed conclusion to this amazing trilogy! This book was action packed right from the start to the very end. The HDPU is busy in this book. They may have rescued one banshee but now have to find and rescue Aria. They also have to deal with vampires. Some want to kill banshees and some just want them for their own nefarious reasons. I really enjoyed this book and thought it was a fitting end to the series. I will definitely miss the HDPU gang especially our favorite screamer, Aria.
I have loved this series and best of all I loved that these authors did such a good job with the ending and tied up all loose ends.Aria has been such a fantastic character and I have really loved following her on her journey. Action packed, exciting and totally cray cray this storyline has had me hook line and sinker the whole way through and it’s been a great adventure ! Twists and turns and hilarity and snark, this is a series I would definitely recommend!
Amazing conclusion for this series but I hate to see it end!! I love this world! . . . . . . . . . . . . . Aria was taken after she released her mom whom she thought was dead since she was a child. Cufflinks (as Aria calls him) hurt her but with the help of another vampire (Vera) she escaped only to be captured again but master zhu who kills banshee. Again Vera saves her and helps her reunite with her team!!! Aria finally finds a place she belongs at.

Wonderful end to the series. I enjoyed this book and the happy ending. I wish we got to find more out about the two that got away. I would've also want to know about father ahead with Seke and Ari. If they had kids and what not. Other than that this was a great ending to the series.
Reading Grave Notice was so bittersweet for me, not going to lie about it. Knowing this was the last book in this trilogy was sad. I absolutely love this series and all it’s amazing characters. Knowing this won’t be the last that we hear from these amazing authors made it better though.
With that being said these authors definitely went out with a bang. Action packed and fast paced right out of the gate and it continued that way throughout the rest of the book. Twists and turns, secrets, rumors come to life, and so much more! Written wonderfully and impossible to put down.
I think Aria really needed to be taken so we could really see just how much she means to the rest of the team. Our phenix, Raven, and hell hound were really feeling her absence and I definitely think we needed that. I loved watching them all come together to save the banshee they have all come to love. Aria also keeps us entertained on her end. She’s not one to give up and knows she just needs to buy herself time for her friends to find her while also trying to find her own way out, because again, she doesn’t give up or rely solely on others.
I’m crossing my fingers for a spin-off or two and appearances by this wonderfully group of ragtag mystical characters we have come to love!
Another amazing book, “Grave Notice”, in the series Harbingers of Death by amazing authors LeAnn Mason and L.B. Carter. The last book in the trilogy is full of action, humor, and crazy vampires. Throughout the entire series, the authors were fantastic at building the characters, especially main character, Aria. In this final book I really felt the continuation of that character growth. It’s like watching your child grow unto an adult. Since I was so invested as a reader it was pleasing to have such growth written. The storyline is well written and flows very well and will keep you on your toes with all that Aria goes through. I highly recommend this series. Even though I’m sad this series is over I’m excited and hopeful to see what LeAnn Mason and L.B. Carter has in store for us next. I hope they will still write together.
Aria has not had a good time since the end of the last book. And all her problems start and end with the vampires it seems in this one. And it was a glorious book as Aria is Aria at her best while her team members search for her. I laughed and groaned at the things Aria faces as she goes from captive, freedom then back to captive and then freedom with lots of action and danger and snark. A few twists and secrets and plenty of hilariousness as the Harbingers do what they do best and survive what is throw at them. Loved it.
This book shows some serious character growth for Aria, as well as the others. Something I'm 100% here for! This is the book where getting the others' thoughts was most important for me. And boy, did they have some thoughts! Honestly though, getting more of Seke's thoughts and feelings was much appreciated. And I think Grave Notice tied up all the loose ends from the previous book nicely, more so with the Epilogue. Not going to lie, I'm super curious to know more about Vera and David and how they got mixed up with Vampires! Overall, I enjoyed the book!
What an amazing addition to this truly sensational series. Aria has been kidnapped by vampires. Getting herself in these situations is the way she roles. However she needs to be back with her team and most importantly Seke. Trying to find Aria Seke and his team run into some problems. Two factions after his girl. He needs her back and he is going to get her. I absolutely loved Grave notice. Riveting read. A real page Turner. Hopefully there will be more from the HDPU
Alright, third book. We only have to rescue people, kill some supernatural beings, make sure we get the girl, and keep our team together while we do it. This'll be fine. Aria was a great character and I enjoyed going on this journey with her. I loved this book. It was going 120% from the first chapter and I couldn't put it down. I seriously hope we continue with this series HDPU is awesome.
LOVED!! Action packed and riveting page turner!! This whole series has been amazing and Grave Notice is my favorite by far. The storyline, the characters...you get pulled right in!! This is a definite must read!!
This just got better. The characters have matured. It is a great read. Hard to put down. The siren can really get things stirred up. Will there be more? I hope so.
A page Turner The perfect final book for an adventurous, action packed tale. This is definitely a “Must Read”. I highly recommend this tale. I received a free copy of this book for an honest review
Grave Notice is a fierce, emotionally charged, and darkly addictive entry in L.B. Carter and LeAnn Mason’s supernatural series a perfect blend of grit, mythology, slow-burn tension, and high-stakes paranormal danger. With razor-sharp voice and relentless momentum, the authors deliver a story that is as visceral as it is vulnerable.
The protagonist’s ability to foresee death makes her a rare and coveted force in a world filled with fanged predators and supernatural agendas. But this installment pushes her to her limits. Having traded her freedom for her mother’s safety, she finds herself imprisoned by vampires desperate to exploit her prophetic powers. The brutality she faces is matched only by her determination a blend of resilience, fury, and dark humor that makes her voice utterly compelling.
Carter and Mason excel at balancing emotional depth with fast-paced supernatural conflict. The political tensions within the vampire world, the threat of rival factions eager to silence her forever, and the fragile alliances among shifters, gods, and mythological entities keep the stakes sky-high. The mother daughter partnership adds a moving, human pulse beneath the chaos.
With its gritty tone, rich lore, and slow-burn romantic chemistry simmering beneath the action, Grave Notice is perfect for fans of Dannika Dark, Jennifer L. Armentrout, and paranormal thrillers infused with both mythic intrigue and raw heart. It’s bold, immersive, and impossible to walk away from.
Holy Moley, to put it politely. This series from day one immerses you in the story of all the supernatural folks that work together saving the world and helping souls crossover, called HDPU. This amazing writing duo has had me hooked from page one in book one. This last book is Arias story. She discovers her mother is alive and is determined to rescue her. And of course the team goes along to protect Aria and to do what they can to assist. It would seem that vampires, two certain groups, would love nothing other than to keep a banshee amongst their midst. She has the ability to foretell death and as a result is valuable to them. However, the HDPU has other ideas. The leader of the group also has deep feelings for her and wants to make sure she stays safe. If you love supernatural I highly recommend this series. You can’t go wrong. Thank you to the lovely ladies that have written such an amazing story.
I cannot believe it’s over 😭 But I absolutely loved following Aria and the gang. I loved watching her grow into her powers and become such a powerful, amazing woman! This finale was intense and epic and filled with all the snark we’ve come to expect from these characters. And we FINALLY got the Aria/Seke scenes we’ve been missing 😂 I’m so sad to say goodbye to these guys but it was an amazing ride!

I can't get enough of HDPU! I'm so sad it's over. Aria and the gang were amazing characters, with such incredible personalities. Action-packed, thrilling, heart stopping fun and drama. Aria got HEA, although I am curious what happened with Vere & David? Maybe a spin-off series???
