A sweet, sexy and emotional read! Julius was everything okay! Meah experienced so many things in her life you just wanted her to win. I loved how even though this was novella length the author wrote in such a way you could feel the love and emotions of each character due to their back stories. I also loved how Meah and Julius coparented with Kelly because it does take a village. Great read!

Outstanding

After reading Yas & Romeo's story I wondered when it would be Meah's turn to experience true happiness... I love it! There's no better love than that of a man that will literally protect you from any and everybody... including ya own family! All of the relationships were truly appreciated and welcomed for AA urban literature! Great job on book 2... Looking forward to your next release! 🎊🎉💐💯👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

I enjoyed this story. Julius was that no nonsense hood dude that kept home and work life handled. Meah had been through a rough childhood but was a survivor. The love that Julius had for Meah was beautiful.

Unique

I love this storyline it was a very good read I enjoyed everyone getting there happy ever after I wish it was longer but overall a very good read

This is a phenomenal love story. The characters are described well, the story flows and the author has included God in the story, showing that with God and prayer all things are possible.

The only problem with the story is the ending - it just ends- there needed to be an Epilogue for further down the road to close the story out. But still a powerful story.

MEAH & JULIUS ❤

This was a great follow up after reading Yas and Ro story. The author really does a great job at giving us a storyline that entails real-life situations with an emphasis on family and spirituality. I loved Meah and Julius together. He went above and behind to ensure that his queen received the best. The way he catered to and just gave Meah the affirmation of positively whenever she experienced self doubt was just beautiful. Meah was definitely a true survivor who deserved a second chance at happiness and what better man to give her the best of everything is Julius. Looking forward to what the author writes next.

Solid love story

This was my first read from Ms. Tillman, and I enjoyed Meah and Julius’ story - it was clear how much they loved each other, and it was refreshing to see Meah’s healing from trauma.

I know this is one of the author’s earlier works, so there could be growth demonstrated in this area with her other titles, but I found the transitions between settings/characters to be a little abrupt. Smoothing out those transitions and slightly elongating the love scenes might help the story to flow a little better.

Overall, 3.5 stars and I look forward to reading more from Ms. Tillman.

I'm so glad Meah got her own story. Learning all that she had to endure as a child, and then in her marriage was heartbreaking! She was so much stronger than she believed she was. Thank God for her friendship with Jasmine, who helped save her. Her faith carried her through so many tough times. Julius! The thug king! 😂 He was the man in the streets, and the perfect gentleman for Meah! Sweet, loving, supportive and protective. Their love was a beautiful thing! Great read! 👍👍👍

I loved Meah and Julius’ love. He was all about affirming his queen and she was all about supporting her king. I am glad to Meah chose to get professional help when it was all said and done. Great story

Wow.. Great story. I enjoyed reading about meah & her upbringing. Glad she was able to reestablish a relationship with her mom. No bitter exes lol & story was still good. Will there be a story about Ashley? I think she deserves one. I would like to read about her recovery & how she is progressing.

Amazing

What a beautiful story! It was so inspiring the love they had for one another. The spiritual level they were on was just amazing.

I loved that they were so many positive things in this story and that they could come together for the love of Ro's daughter.
