What do you do for fun in a town full of tourists? You start leading tours and get to make people’s dreams come true. If only I could find my way to my own dreams.
I’m Garnet and I moved to Moonlit Falls several years ago to be closer to my cousin. Then she had the nerve to move away a year ago. Sigh. At least this place is about as perfect as you can get for small town life until things start going off the rails.
After a long day of work, I just want to sit down with a cup of coffee and vent, and suddenly I have mates: Bear, a bear shifter. Jaxson, a big city detective who moved back for a slower paced life. Orin, a vampire with a mysterious past.
As if figuring out a relationship isn’t hard enough, mysterious gifts and notes keep ending up in my house! Has my ex found me again or is there something else going on?
Set in the shared world of Moonlit Falls, this is a reverse harem paranormal romance full of mystery and mayhem.
Unsigned notes. Unwanted gifts. A past made present.
I like books that make me cry. I like dramas. I like those books leaving an imprint on my heart by breaking and destroying it. But, once in a while, when the world is dark and when the days are lonely and when people on the internet are mean, I just want a little goodness in my life. That's what Silver Springs, and now Moonlit Falls, are to me. A little goodness, I breath of fresh air, arcs I welcome with wide open arms.
Garnet and her guys are that warm hug on a sad day. Especially the first half of the book is just pure goodness and loveliness and warmth. I have to admit that there was a moment I was wondering if Bonifay would really manage to write an entire book without anything going wrong and without any trouble, but I was also doubting if I would have minded. Because I was quite enjoying watching this harem interact and get to know each other.
However, of course this is not an entire book with just cute dates and tender moments. And once the danger and mystery arrives it feels like the plot sort of explodes. A lot of very small mentions are all of a sudden coming back, even though one plot twist isn't that hard to guess, and I love how it also means we learn more about the guys' pasts and the kind of life they had led! And, the action is totally worth the long wait.
One of the reasons I wouldn't have been against this book consisting of just cute moments and dates though is Garnet. I like how Garnet so clearly knows what she wants with her life, apart from dating her three soulmates. I also enjoyed seeing so much of her life, of her job, of what she likes to do in her spare time, of what kind of person she is. And on top of that Garnet showed us a lot of Moonlit falls, which makes me even more exited to explore all those places in more detail in future books!
So here is another great book in the Moonlit Falls series. Here we have Garnet who has been a resident of Moonlit Falls for a while. She works outdoors as a guide and she loves it. She is an otter shifter. So after work one day she goes to the cafe and what does she do. Yep you guessed it. So now we wait to find out who her fated mates are. They are revealed one by one. Once they are revealed the story takes a turn which I did not see coming. We never know what to expect in this story. One mate we thought was human may not be. Another is hiding a big secret. It all comes down to a showdown at the end. I was in tears at one point because it just got to emotional. A happily ever after ending and I could not have been happier with how it all worked out.
Garnet had been settling in Moonlit falls for some time now. Working together with her best friend, something was missing. All it took was one PSL, and her life changed for the best. Three mates, something she never thought she would have. Not just her shifter best friend, but also a vampire and a human .
Garnet is the 4th book in the Moonlit falls series. This one was completely a heartwarming adventure mixed with steam, love and a hint of suspense and mystery. This story was a bit fast paced but flowed very smoothly. This was also a quick and easy to read. It was a fun filled story and I completely enjoyed it!
I received an ARC and voluntarily gave my honest opinion and review
This was a fun read. A well written reverse harem paranormal romance full of mystery and mayhem set in the small town of Moonlit Falls. Garnet is a great character whose story is full of fun, steam, friendship, mystery, suspense and some danger! Fab storyline, fab characters, I look forward to reading the next book!
I absolutely adore Garnet and her mates, I honestly would love to have my very own Bear. So if anyone knows someone like him, please send him my way. There's a lot of interesting characters in this story, and even some that aren't necessarily in the book still turn up. Dang selkies and kelpies, honestly I need to know exactly who's going to win that one.
There's one thing I'm loving about Moonlit Falls at the moment and that's the fact that for a lot of the authors taking part, these are the debut novels. And none of them are disappointing. I can't wait to read more from this author in the future.
As someone who isn’t “adventurous” I was so excited to learn about Gaelach Teine and the tours that Garnet was in charge of throughout the story. Although I wish we spent more time there, I enjoyed getting to know about these characters outside of their work element. Some of the cameos were hilarious, especially Citrine’s, Nephrite’s, and Diva’s, but overall I did feel like the story wasn’t as much of a rom com as most of the Silver Springs/ Moonlit Falls universe. This book was filled with adventure, romance, and some mystery. I really liked Garnet and thought that an otter shifter was unique. I would love to see more of her in her shifted form, maybe even playing with Bear. Out of the guys, I think I liked Orin the best, then Jaxson and Bear equally. I thought that Garnet and Jaxson’s meet cute was one of those odd stories you’d tell your grandkids one day and sure to get a laugh out of everyone. I loved how there wasn’t a ton of drama due to multiple mates and that they created this little family and included a character to be part of it that I wasn’t expecting. I’m looking forward to what Rachelle comes up with next and I think she did a great job with her debut book!
I'm loving this new series of moonlit falls and I think the new Authors are doing an amazing job so far. I found I couldn't put it down and I just loved all the characters right from the start, with Garnet who I fould so sweet and caring while wanting to be independent and just really loved the out doors. Bear was so sweet but at the same time a little bit protective when it came to his Mate and who would have thought a big Bear like Bear would be scared of little cat like mocha from jewels cafe which I fould hilarious, even the pranks just keep getting funnier as the story went on and poor Garnet and Jaxson get caught in the cross fire with a glitter boom. All in all I fould it really enjoyable to read and at one point I didn't know which direction this story would take but I'm glad I ended up with a happy ending and I'd definitely like to read more.
Our latest trip to Moonlit Falls introduces Garnet, an otter shifter and her mates. Everything seems to be going well - or mostly. Drink coffee, meet mates and after a minor blip with one being unaware of supes, they all get together happily. There's got to be something goes wrong! The past comes back to haunt not one, but two of Garnet's mates, and changes everything! I love these characters, and there's plenty of scene setting as well for the future!
Garnet is an amazing person. She knows her worth and follows her dreams. Her first make is her best friend Bear, yes he is a bear shifter. Her drew me right in. He was so accepting of this and had wanted it come true for a long time. Her other mates make their mistakes but make it up to her. You have to read this book. Once again I was given the feels of love, laughter and pain, then back to love. I can't wait to hear more from this group of amazing characters.
This was a cute book full of steamy moments with a little suspense thrown into the mix. There’s was also a bit of mystery and intrigue around one topic that really caught my attention and made me need to know more. The characters are flawed, but lovable, and Orin has a secret that makes you adore him when you find it out. Bear was a little overbearing in the beginning, but seemed to get better as the story progressed, and I loved the whole best friends to lovers, and strangers to lovers combo. All-in-all it was a great story, and I’d love to see more of the characters.
This was a fun, quick read. Garnet is an otter shifter who drinks one of the special drinks at Jewels cafe and ends up finding her mates. Strange gifts strat showing up and none of them no who they could be from. They band together to solve this mystery when something unexpected happens.
Moonlit Garnet was a great read! Moonlit Falls is a place where supernaturals live and is protected with wards so humans don’t notice anything out of place. Garnet, an otter shifter, has moved there and works leading tours for tourists. Garnet is a great character with a bit of a coffee addiction and one day ends up finding her soulmate(s). I loved Garnet and her mates and found myself wanting to visit Moonlit Falls because of all the great shops and cafe’s. This was a fun, entertaining read filled with romance, mystery and mayhem.
Nettie is an otter shifter who work at an outfitters and helps with the adventures. Her and he best friend Bear go for coffee and one PSL later she finds her mates……actually three of them. With her mates at her side she must find out who is leaving her strange presents and cryptic letters. Is her past catching up with her. This was an amazing read and I just adore these characters!!
It ended abruptly! It’s supposed to be a standalone
It ended abruptly! It’s supposed to be a standalone ! This is a series of standalone and it’s unfinished and I think the author. Realized they had to end it cause it just goes on and on. It seems like there should be a part two, but it’s not! It had a good storyline but it’s not complete. I’m angry cause each book in this series is written by different authors and they are supposed to be standalone stories. I gave 3 stars cause I was interested in storyline! Just as it’s getting good bam it’s over! Hence only 3 stars! * no spoilers* at all because It ends with lead female and her 3 mates and a little girl they are protecting from a coven of vampires and one of her mates is just getting the hang of his new powers and .. poof it’s over! Wtf? !!! Not cool not cool! This series is going to pot. I’ve followed this series for over 100 + books and looks like they are loosing their streak. So sad!
Okay, so this far I have really enjoyed the Moonlit Falls series. I love that it has lots of aspects of Silver Springs that I enjoy and I'm liking that new authors are getting into the game. I liked The characters in this book quite a bit and their story was fun and I felt myself drawn into it early on, however I felt like the newness of the author showed quite a bit, even in the blurb for the book, and it would have benefitted with a better editor. Admittedly, I am a little fussy over grammar and this probably will not bother everyone, but if you are fussy like me, be warned. Great story, needs editing.
If I hadn't said if before I'm saying it now!! I'm loving this new series of Moonlit Falls the new authors are doing a fantastic job with these stories so far. I absolutely loved Garnet story. Plenty of intrigue, action, mystery, laugh out loud moments, and of course the steamy encounter to keep you hooked from beginning to end making for a helluva read. Can't wait for the next book in this series. As always my reviews are totally voluntarily and no monetary compensation was received and the opinions I have expressed are my own.
I loved the Silver Springs series but I'm just not liking this one. They don't have the comedic flare those books have. And I can't connect with those characters. I can't really explain it. There's just something missing. I'm really not sure if it's the way the town and characters are portrayed or if it's the authors but it just isn't clicking for me. I've read this far to give it a chance but I'm done. For this to be this authors first book though she did a great job.
Readers are introduced to Garnet in book 3 of the Moonlit Falls series. While each book can be read on their own focusing on a different character written by a different author, I do recommend reading them in order as there are cameos from previous or even future characters. Moonlit Garnet is a fantastic addition to this series as Garnet discovers her mates! There were so many laugh out loud interactions, heated moments, and some good mystery and intrigue to really keep readers on the edge of their seat. Can't wait to keep reading more of this series!
Great addition to the Moon Dust Library. It felt like the book was a set up for upcoming characters in the series. While not a bad thing, I would have liked to spend more time with the main characters. Great start with the outdoor adventure center, lots of time spent with characters that didn't come up again in the book.... maybe later in the series? Friends to lovers, surprising elements to the character building that I don't want to spoil!
This book was Fantastic, I could not get enough of it and I discovered that once I started reading I could not put it down until the very last word was read. It moves along at a pace which is not too slow or too fast. It has interesting and unique characters that you want to know more about and by the end of the book you cant help but fall in love with them. This book has to be read, there is no doubt about it.
Garnet finds her mates in unexpected people after her wonderful PSL. Loved the hidden twists and backstory which will open up so many more characters and adventures as this harem continues on with their lives. The guys were all easy going and honestly jumped to work together on the outside problem without question. Can't wait to see more of Garnet, the guys and Clara.
Garnet is living her dream. She gets to work close to and on the water as an aquatic adventure guide in Moonlit Falls. Her best friend, Bear, is also a coworker making each day enjoyable.
She wasn’t expecting it, but when a mate bond is triggered with three very different men, Garnet is thrilled at finding love. When that love is threatened, all bets are off to keep her family together.
This was a great read by a new author. Moonlit Falls is looking better and better each week!
This is an awesome addition to the Moonlit Falls series and I'm really enjoying how much we're not only getting to know the characters but also the 'geography' of the town. It's really let me be totally immersed in the story and I fully enjoy that. I also fully enjoyed how the characters came together and let their chemistry unfold at a great pace. Add in the mystery, unexpected gifts and twists, and you have a page turner. Well done!
This is already book 3 in Moonlit Falls and sister town of Silver Springs. It follows Garnet and how she meets her guys after the famous PSL at the cafe. The guys are fun and the first half of the book is giving me all the feels. There's mystery, intrigue and action in the second half and it's fast paced. It could of benefit with just a little slowing down so the story would've been easier in the end but I still liked the book.
We met Garnet in the previous book but now it is her turn to find her mates and her happily ever after. With the help of some PSL, Garnet will find her life a lot more interesting and definitely hotter. The romance is always sweet and has a few hot scenes. The characters are great and each of the men are very different but perfect for Garnet. There is even some danger that could make things hard if not impossible for the group.
I really liked Garnets, who is a otter shifter, story it was funny cute and hot. I laughed at Bear, a bear shifter btw as if the name didn't say that hehe, one of Garnets mates being afraid of a cat. Then we have Jaxon a big city detective who just moved back home and the way he first met Nettie hehe. Then last but certainly not least Orin a vampire whom I just love. The story was as quirky as the others and brilliantly written
What a wonderful addition to the Moonlit Falls series of stories. Rachelle Bonifay did a fabulous job choosing her characters.
Garnet works outside, with a bear shifter best buddy. Little does she know that a mysterious and magical surprise will cause her to find one, not even two, but more mates than she may be able to handle!!
This book 3 in the series provides an exciting and fun chance for you to ‘not choose,’ just like Garnet!!!
Not really a fan of this one. This book has some contradictions. At some points it has the characters pulling away and standing up for themselves or stating they dont believe in soul mates and them flip the page and its I love yous and hea like nothing ever happened. If you ignore the relationship the drama is mediocre at best and is solved with no real climax. Overall not really impressed with this one.
