This was a charming book and helped me get on my self care journey for this year. I found her other book Find Your Sparkle more helpful personally, but I still enjoyed this one.
I did find that it was quite repetitive. I understand there are different kinds of love and this is a really lovely message for readers, but I was having trouble actually making sense of more than “Love is everywhere, we all need to feel the energy.” There were also parts that were incredibly spiritual and sometimes religious which I personally didn’t connect with.
It being broken into chapters was helpful, I found some more useful than others. The chapter on forgiveness struck a chord with me as that is something I struggle with, and I genuinely feel I will refer back to it in the future. I also liked the idea that in order to love you have to be brave, be vulnerable and keep trying. I think in the future I will try and keep the love of oneness in mind and try to connect to everything. I found the part useful about blossoming and flowing with change, I will try and incorporate that into my mindset.
I liked the quotes spread throughout and the variety of them, as well as some studies. The affirmation-style chapter end pages were nice and potentially useful for positive intonations.
Overall I am glad I took the time to start this first step, and it was a really beautiful book in terms of message, and the presentation and illustrations (although I will admit the eyes still scare me slightly). The pages of flowers were wonderful. Happy to support a positive author and it is nice that she is from Australia 😊

I love this book so much! In addition to the delightfully pleasing and lovingly made art, Meredith guides us on a journey of choosing love as a way of life. I felt like I was on cloud 9 whenever I read it. Very high vibe! You must buy this book if you wanna feel that beautiful loving energy 💞 Also, funny thing was when I started reading it, I started attracting more romance in my life. The first relationship I attracted when I tuned into the energy of this book, he took me out on the most amazing dates and he was almost exactly my type, it's just that we didn't continue because he's going to be stationed in another state. But immediately after that, I attracted 3 more suitors whom I find very attractive and treat me well, I just have to sift through to see whose life goals is most compatible with mine ☺️ anyways, have fun reading the book and vibing in the energy! 🪷💝

A gifted book that has sat on my shelf for a bit because it ain’t really my cup of tea, that’s because I usually drink coffee or mint tea. Oh god corny!
Look I appreciate the illustrative work but it made my teeth hurt it was so sweet. There was some cute paragraphs about being loved, supported, encouraged, valued, compassionate, dealing with grief but mostly it was pretty repetitive and there is only so many ways you can talk about love personally. That said I just don’t think I’m the target market. I’m surprised I was given this with my RBF and very grumpy ways 🤣

I don't know how I feel about this book. It is a very beautiful look with the design and pictures as well the cute dear heart messages after every chapter. But it's hard to read because the writing is very messy and repetitive. I believe this book would of been better written to have half the amount and would of had a greater impact on the reader.

I usually love Meredith Gaston books but had to DNF this one, too repetitive with no real takeaways

It was a lovely book for me to get back into reading and the illustrations within the book were absolutely beautiful but took me a little while to read as I feel it was quite repetitive and I’m such a fiction reader so I didn’t enjoy this one quite as much.
