Today's defeat... It was my responsibility as the coach... for sending you to the mound. [...] Having a strong sense of responsibility and not relying on your comrades are two different things. A conceited pitcher can never be called the ace.
If I were the catcher, I'd definitely not let such selfishness go through...
El mejor tomo de lo que va de serie. El MiyuMei por los suelos 😩
I wonder, why did we all gather here at this school to play baseball? Do you think it was just to get along well with everybody? You've got a lot to learn about the world if you think we're all going to be holding hands, singing songs and walking into the sunset playing baseball together forever.
Hesitation, anxiety... Those are still things everyone has. Will I become a regular? Will I be put in games? What if I don't get a jersey number? If they're struggling with hesitation or anxiety, fighting alongside your teammates and smacking the insecurity right oit of them is what it means to be captain, isn't it?
The thing I didn’t really like is that we are told from the beginning it’s an upset and so most of the volume we’re reading a game that seems one sided for most of the time which just feels off. It mainly feels like the opposing team is a one man army. But then we get the aftermath and I love how the mangaka writes loss. When a team loses you feel it, Narumiya’s body language, great and sets up the antagonist we’re taking on next. Also man he is a such a rage baiter and I love it, by the end I winded up looking forward to this next match.
