This series has been one awesome rollercoaster ride to the next and #6 just keeps rolling with the punches!
I love the character progression in this book (without spoiling just what that is) and the developments that have come about.
Plus a new addition and one hell of a good time. Really like this series and want to see more!

Despite it being negatively mentioned in numerous reviews for the previous books the author continues to repeat phrases over and over. In fact, he increases the usage more in each new book. If he writes "auburn haired beauty", "gorgeous girlfriend", "dark haired beauty", "pink haired beauty", "my sexy women" etc. one more time.....
I'm usually a finish the series type of reader but I'm likely to give a hard pass on reading 7. The original idea was good and the characters seemed to be progressing in each book (along with the repetitive phrases unfortunately) but I didn't really feel this was supposed to/going to end up being equal parts harem story and vamp killing. Yes, the disclaimer tells you there will be sex with multiple women but this isn't listed as erotica in KU for heaven's sake.
To me the plot now seems to be more about the lead character having multiple women literally begging to have sex with him - all the time. Probably the worst part of the harem aspect is that the author is just as repetitive with the sex scenes as he is with describing the women by hair color. It's pretty much the same scene every time, in the same sequence, with the same wording. Okay, occasionally he throws in 2 or 3 women instead of one but that's about all the variety in them. Throw in a lot of women saying cheesy things like "I've wanted you since I saw you" or when they start crying because he hasn't slept with them yet and telling him he can do anything he wants to them..... I just started skipping forward instead of reading them. It's literally starting to seem like a teenage boy's dream - all sex and vamp killing scenes with very little actual plot left.
That's my opinion anyway. It's a shame because the series had a lot of potential and I really had high hopes when I started it.
Oh, and it's funny that while his drinking blood from people makes sexy women have an insatiable need for him (that was established in the earlier books so I don't consider it a spoiler) but it doesn't have that effect on older women or men.

Logan Jacob’s use to say 100 reviews and he would start on the next book..Saw on his Facebook page he’s already abandoned this one.Monster girl base has over 100 reviews he’s abandoned that series to.Tried to read mage assassin but it blows a**. I’m feel like he’s just writing for whatever makes a quick buck. So glad I have kindle unlimited.Would be pissed for buying into a good series then the author just leaves it hanging in the wind.

This has been a very fun series. I've enjoyed the the writing, fast paced action and good dialogue. The characters have depth and Are well thought out. Sam and the girls, face the challenge of the vampire apocalypse in a fight fire with fire manner in a bid to take on the vamps from Black Betsey in an epic showdown in Red House town square. excellent book you will enjoy it.

Firstly, please don't be the last volume in this series. It's awesome! Book 6 sees a lot more action that is just down and some of Logan's best work to date. I love this series and the characters are all lovable (well the good ones are). If you have been reading this series you know what to expect, if you haven't nut books 1 to 6 and binge them now!

Pack of friendly vampires. Never thought I would say that. Got some sweet action as well as relationship building. Learned a bit more about vamp powers and ended the book with a bang. (Kinda literally....) haha.

Very sad to read this final book in the series but this one hit it out of the park!!! it was amazing as Sam and his women all came together to save the town of humans from another town of bloodthirsty vampires!!!

A really fun and exciting addition to a great series. It's cool to see Sam and the girls kick ass together and I'm looking forward to the next steps of the vampire lord.

It took us a while to figure out why the series was called Vampire Lord. Now we know Sam, lord of Red House had arrived. Great entry to the series can't wait for more.

This one was my favorite of the series so far. Really hope the author continues the series. Can’t wait to see what they do with the base building moving forward.
