How much does your sibling love you? This final chapter is a tear jerker as well as a great close to this chapter of Krynn history

The very first chapter was so bad, so full of glaring errors, contradictions and terrible choices, I thought the writer had sabotaged it on purpose as a way of getting back to the editors. I kept reading only because I wanted to see the story through to the end, and it was only towards the very end that the book got good.. and boy what an end; it really makes up for the rest of this slop

An alright series. The first book imo is the strongest. The rest just felt like this, and then this and then this and it didn't make much of an emotional impact.

A satisfying conclusion. I am really happy with this trilogy. Great narrative. Compelling characters. There was a bit of a lull in the third act but it quickly picked up for the last 50 pages or so.

My rating is 2.5 stars.

This is part of Dragonlance. This is the third book of a trilogy and the other two must be read before this one. This picks up the action right where the second book ended. The siege is in full effect and this tells the story of the ensuing battle.

I thought the first book was terrific but unfortunately this trilogy could not hold that level of entertainment. Part of the problem was the action portion of this book. I like action as much as the next person but the battle waged on for the first two-thirds of the book. After awhile, I just wanted someone to be declared a winner and move on to a plot. Another problem I had was with the twist in the plot. There was an inconsistency with the timeline that I had a hard time overlooking. I did enjoy the finale as all the plots were wrapped up but even that wasn't enough to totally save this novel.

This trilogy had some strong lead characters and I did enjoy learning of their fate. Maybe I am a little disappointed that this trilogy started off so strong but this book wasn't the best Dragonlance novel.

The last book here of the trilogy was by far the best. It was a lot of build up for this book but the end was great. It was an interesting read and didn't go where I was hoping it would. Sadly you cant get the real effect of this one without reading the others. Given how much I have liked many of his other books it was disappointing not that they were bad books or badly written far from it...just didn't have the impact I was hoping for. They are worth the read if you have them but not amongst my Dragonlance favs.

The forces of Sthen move against Amero and Yala-tene. The dragons war against each other and spies are sent to find Karada and her band as a last gasp effort to survive.

3.5 rounded up to 4 stars.

The cover illustrations of this trilogy really don't do the stories any justice. Like, ANY.
