Destiny brought her to their clan. The wolves will bring her to her knees.

When Ember finds herself the target of a vicious attack, the three men who rescue her know there's only one way for her to survive. They must take her to a hidden realm where men growl and fur flies. Grayson, Alex, and Cody scent her and immediately know she's a wolf shifter.

One brimming with untapped power.

One destined to be their mate.

But her wolf won't come. It has been forced to stay silent for far too long. It doesn't help that she doesn't know how she ended up in the human realm in the first place.

Can Ember start a new forever with a blank slate in a new world she doesn't fully belong to?

Or will the past she can't remember come back to haunt her with a vengeance?

Their only hope lies in the power of the forgotten, the forbidden, and in each other.

New author Cate Cassidy has done a wonderful job with her first-ever book, Fallen Moon. The Wolves of Thunder Cove is a steamy paranormal reverse harem that's told from multiple perspectives. The story follows Ember as she meets some very hot wolf shifters and discovers that the supernatural is very much real, it was great.

Ember is one of those characters who is used to being on her own, it's up to her to protect herself and therefore she has her guard up at all times and it's very hard for her to believe in the supernatural, at least it is at first. After accepting everything Ember takes everything in stride, she tries to learn more about wolf shifter culture, about the supernatural, and the clan that she finds herself in. I love that while she is afraid she doesn't let her fear stop her, she ventures out looking for answers about her past, exploring her new surroundings, and she doesn't shy away from her feelings from three certain wolf shifters. Ember stands up for herself, doesn't let the guys answer everything for her, and is quick with comebacks, Ember is good at accessing situations and figuring out people and she's most definitely gonna need that if she gonna survive this world.

Cody, Alex, and Grayson are three wolf shifters who find themselves entangled in Ember's life after they save her from a deadly supernatural creature. In this book, the wolf shifters live in what they call clans not packs and Alex and Grayson are the alphas of the Thunder Wolves Clan while Cody is their beta. The three of them have been through a lot and are very close though they couldn't be more different. Cody is light-hearted, kind, and caring, he is the one who has an initial connection with Ember and Ember feels things for him as well. Then there's Alex who is kind if not a little closed off but there is an attraction there, he just wants the best for Ember. Finally, we get to Grayson who comes across as a bit of a jerk with his gruff attitude and passive-aggressive ways however Ember even breaks down his walls and connects to him as well. There is talk about fated mates in this book and I thought I knew what was going on with Ember and the guys but now I'm not so sure if it's a fated mate situation or not.

The supernatural mythology in this book is a little different but very interesting. For one there are multiple realms and each supernatural has its own realm separate from the human realm who very few wolf shifters venture, the wolf shifters have their realm, the bear shifters have theirs, and so on and so on. In this book there is a tentative peace between the clans which isn't surprising what is surprising is that wolves aren't allowed to shift whenever they want to, they have a certain designated day when they can shift. Also, very few wolves believe in fated mates, it's kinda like how humans view soul mates, and it seems very few find theirs. As for the shifting that seems pretty standard but the story hasn't revealed if any wolf power carries over into their human forms or if there are any special wolves or anything. I would have loved to get more into clan politics, to delved more into the magic and what happened to Ember in the human forest. I have a feeling that some things were hinted at, may even be connected to each other but I haven't got a definitive answer.

Fallen Moon is just the beginning of Ember's story, it looks like a lot is heading her way especially after that surprise ending. This story had steam, romance, a joyful lightheartedness, heart-filled emotions, sexy shifters, dangerous magic, and so much more. Fallen Moon was a delightful read and I look forward to seeing where Ember's journey takes her next.

I just wish I waited to read this so I didn't have to wait on the next books to be released.

Ember is working at a carnival booth when a guy approaches her and after some flirting, she agrees to have dinner with him before he abruptly runs off. That night Ember is heading home and decides to take a shortcut through the woods when she is attacked. Cody, the guy from earlier in the day shows up with his two alphas (Greyson and Alex), they save her, and take her back to their realm to heal her. They can all sense she has a wolf, but she's lived in the human realm for 24 years without shifting so they aren't sure if she is a half shifter or if there is something wrong with her wolf. With the approaching Fallen Moon, they decide to see if her wolf will emerge with the powerful moon, however, just before the night of the moon, Ember finds out that the creature (wolf slayer) that attacked her left a mark and she will basically be hunted until she is dead.

First things first, I just want to say how appreciative I am of the fact that when Ember found out that not only is there magic and other worlds and creatures out there, but that she is also a wolf, she didn't move on from it like 'no big deal, I'm a wolf...whats for dinner?' She was skeptical and it took a lot of convincing to get her to believe them. In a lot of these books, the heroine finds out that there is more to the world that they previously believed and rather than question it or be skeptical at all, they move on like it's not life-altering news (at least it would be for me).

I liked Ember. She didn't have an easy childhood, or life for that matter. She grew up in foster care after being abandoned at an abby as a baby. She was closed off for sure and didn't easily accept people into her life, but she also wasn't a wilting flower whining and having anxiety attacks at every upset she encountered. She also didn't just devolve into a puddle of hormones at the first sight of a handsome guy. None of that ruled by her vagina, body betraying her nonsense.

The guys were ok. I liked Cody and Greyson seems like a jerk, but I don't think we got enough of Alex in this book for me to get a read on him. Hopefully in the future books their characters gain more depth.

I liked the story, it was unique enough that it wasn't like I was just rereading another story about shifters. I liked how the author created a parallel world for their clans. I also liked that there is clearly more to the guys that the author hasn't delved into quite yet - Greyson's dislike for humans and halflings as well as his issues with Silver Creek clan and Cody's missing sister and Alex's missing brother (obviously they left together - the author alluded to it but didn't state it explicitly).

This left on a bit of a cliffhanger, so I am definitely a little antsy to get my hands on the next book. I kind of called it with Dawson. As soon as he mentioned his connection to Ember didn't feel like a mate bond I kind of had an idea of where that was going. I'm curious to find out how right I was.

Anyways, you should definitely read this if you like anything with shifters and mysterious heroines. It's good stuff, I promise.

After leaving work Ember is attacked by a creature she couldn't have imagined. She has been a fighter all her life, but Ember quickly realizes that she doesn't stand a chance against the nightmare that will kill her. Cody, Grayson, and Alex are wolf shifter from the Thunder Cove clan and are puzzled that they can sense Ember's wolf, but she has never shifted. After saving Ember from a creature that can only be summoned from a dark realm, the men decide to take her to their realm to heal, and maybe find out why she has never shifted.
Wonderful, well written and fascinating character. Ember discovers that not only do wolf shifter exist, she herself is one of them. Grayson and Alex are the clan alphas, and Cody is their beta. They are all attracted to Ember, but they know that the rest of the clan won't accept her. Exciting action, paranormal creatures, and interesting new worlds to explore. Plenty of unexpected, and surprising twists in the plot, and sizzling heat between the main characters made it impossible for me to put this book down. I'm already looking forward to the next book.

I'm being more liberal with DNFs lately and this one just ended up being not for me. Writing a review more for my benefit to keep track of my reads and not rating it as I didn't finish it.

It was OK, but I couldn't connect with any of the characters and 35-40% in I had a few things which rubbed me the wrong way which weren't getting better, they were just getting more frustrating for me. The MC wasn't my favorite as I wasn't a fan of her "voice". There was a bit of insta love and one of the love interests really got on my nerves. I think the author was going for 'tortured hero who is a jerk but is just trying his best' thing but to me it wasn't fitting in that mold for me. There was also some pacing issues and story "flow" issues which I wasn't a fan of.

Overall just not a good fit for me.

This is my 1st Cate Cassidy book and I loved it. I ended up reading it all in one go. The story is immediately enthralling. I found myself championing the main character straight away. The threads of the future books begin straight away and you can tell there is going to be a few. I'm not a big fan of cliffhangers but I felt happy with the amount covered in this book that I wasn't left hanging, just excited for more. I love the way the author gave the perfect amount of detail to allow my imagination to take over and create the scenes. I found no grammar or punctuation errors in this book, which is amazing.

This book had me hooked from the first page; I couldn’t put it down. There is the perfect amount of mystery to keep you reading without it becoming annoying. The pace is just right and the characters are interesting. I can’t wait to read book 2.

My only criticism, if it can be called that, is that the shifter realm is exactly the same as the human realm, even what they call things. This is not realistic. The author missed an opportunity here to create something different. Having said that, maybe it was done on purpose to avoid distracting the reader from the storyline and, trust me, the story is so good you won’t want to be distracted.

Abandoned as a baby, Ember is unaware of her origins and is unsure of why she is the target of a vicious attack. But three men come to her rescue and realize they need to get her to a pack for safety. Grayson, Alex, and Cody can tell by her scent that she is a wolf shifter with power. She is also their mate.

But her wolf won't come forward because it has been held back for so long. And Ember doesn't know how she ended up in the human realm. Can she get a fresh start where she doesn’t feel like she fits in? Or will what she doesn’t know about herself threaten her very existence? Be advised, there will be a cliff-hanger. Just remember it leads to better things ahead!

This was an okay read. It was rather hard to keep things straight, jumping from one topic to the next. I couldn’t make sense of the paranormal lore in the story. The female character seemed to be all over the place; wishy washy on what she wants. The male characters seemed to different on their view but even then they aren’t really straight forward with them. By the end I’m left guessing on how they feel about the female character. I honestly don’t know if I want to read the next in the series. It left me unsatisfied at the end.

I give this a three out of five stars.

Little Wolf

The book was a little low starting but once Ember went through the portal with Cody, Alex and Grayson it picked up and read faster. Ember never know she was a wolf as she grew up in the human realm and her wolf was suppressed. When she went to Thunder Cove home and they helped her to shift under the Fallen Moon. She fell for all three of the but left to go find her rightful home. She seen some wolves coming for their portal and was going to warn them But Rylen had already contacted the Silver Creek Clan to come and get her. He wants to get rid of her so that his sister can marry the Alpha. Can’t wait for the next book

It was a little hard to get into because I wasn't really paying attention to the blurb so I was confused when she showed interest to all males introduced and vice versa. I'm okay with RH so it doesn't bother me much. Once I got into the pace of it, it was a good start to the series. Ember has just learned that there's more to her and the world so she is still getting used to it. Cody, Alex and Grayson are the three who helped "discovered" her and are trying to help her to see what possibilities are available to her. Trying not to give any spoilers but definitely a good read and am looking forward to the next book.

I went into this book not sure what to expect as this is the first book I have read by this author and I was blown away! The story was well rounded, though it started off a little slow, there was a lot of information to learn and you were learning it at the same time as Ember, our heroine. It has well executed graphic spicy scenes that I really enjoyed, it wasn't just thrown in there for no reason like some books and it added to the story and emotion in places. I am looking forward to book 2 in this series. Warning to those looking to read it does end on a cliffhanger.

I love a good shifter romance and Cate's is that plus a reverse harem to boot! Ember has no idea that her world is not the only one. After being attacked she is taken to another world where is just so happens the three men she meat earlier in the night all live. She has no idea who she truly is, and now as she is trying to understand her new world she also has to deal with her feelings for her three rescuers. Not everyone is happy she is around and just when the four of them click, danger is coming to their town and no one is safe. This isn't a stand alone so I can't wait for the next book! I received this ARC from Bad Boy Updates.

This is part of the Wolves of Thunder Cove Series. If you like paranormal romances you'll enjoy this book. It's easy to read this book in one sitting and it's hard to put down once you begin. This is Ember's story and three wolves are captivated by her. Alex, Cody & Grayson all a lot of steam and fire to the story. The book is well written with interesting characters and a strong plot. It does end with a cliffhanger but the next book will be available soon. I read an arc copy via Bad Boy Update and voluntarily chose to review it.

This book was a first for me from this author. It will not be the last. Ember is just trying to make her way in a world that she doesn't understand. Grayson, Alex and Cole are trying to help as much as they can. Things get crazy and scary. This book just sucks you in and doesn't let you go until the end. Even then it kinda of keeps you hanging a little bit. I have to read book two. I have so many unanswered questions. What happens between the two clans? What happens to Ember and her three men? So many questions!

Whoa!

Believe the reviews. This is a great story. I loved Ember’s strong personality and also how she wasn’t always “balls to the wall” and had to be in control. She could be shy or meek too. The guys were great and very distinct. I always have a thing for the broody ones so def a Greyson fan here <3! Let’s talk about that ending though... you know it’s coming, but I was still surprised. So sad it ended but can’t wait for book 2. This was an actiony, steamy, sweet, quick read. 100% recommend. But cliffhanger haters beware 💋

This book was intense from the start. Ember was a strong independent woman just trying to make a living. One fateful night and her whole world gets turned upside down. Cody, Alex and Grayson, three incredibly handsome men swoop in to save her and then give her a crash course into what or who she really is. There was chaos, sweet and sexy scenes. I could not put it down. Can not wait to read the next book.

Fallen Moon swept me along as I got caught up in Ember and the men around her. Being on her own has forced Ember to only rely on herself. When danger strikes, she suddenly no longer on her own.

Being told everything you know is wrong is a hard thing to take in. Having your life threatened because of it doesn't help either. Having 3 strong men at your side does ease the sting.

I am torn about which way I want the story to in book 2. I am excited to see what else Thunder cove has to offer.

I can't wait to discover more about Ember!

What a captivating story! It grabs your attention from the first chapter and doesn't let go from there. The world is fascinating and the more I learn about the different wolf clans and supernatural species, the more I want to keep reading. The guys all have distinct personalities that makes me dying to hear their voices.

What doesn't shine as much is Ember. The story is set up that she doesn't shine much, and I really can't say I see much of her personality. That just makes me hope to see her growth for the future.

For weeks I saw this books blurb and I so much wanted to read it. I was so happy when I finally got it! And it lives up to my expectations. This is the first book I've read by Cate Cassidy and it is her first reverse harem. It's different from the beginning. It has a lot of things I haven't seen with portals and other realms which makes this a fantastic story to read. This does end in a cliffhanger. Luckily book 2 is on pre-order.

A really good first book in a series about Ember who didn’t know she was a wolf shifter and the 3 men who saved her from a wolf slayer that attacked her in the human realm. This book introduces an interesting world where paranormal beings inhabit different realms and have alliances and feuds.

This book ends on a cliffhanger and leaves plenty of storyline to be discovered in the next book.

So many POVs it was hard to follow at first but the men were so addictive, I couldn't put it down. Ember never knew she was a she-wolf, always living in the human world, but after she was attacked she was taken to a knew realm where she begins learning about her world. This book ends in a cliff hanger and I can't wait for the next one!

Ember crosses paths with Cody, Alex and Grayson, who take her through a portal, claiming she is also a wolf shifter and their mate. Lots of suspense, surprises and twists to keep you glued to the pages. Plenty of steamy situations to keep your blood pumping. The storyline continues into another book, so the buildup pushes you to read the next section. Very well done. Can not wait for the next one.

Wow this was such a great PNR! I loved being introduced to our shifters. Cody I am totally already in love with. Alex, Greyson, and Dawson have me so intrigued. I really enjoyed the plot. It has a cliffhanger that had me holding my breath and going back to make sure I hadn't missed any pages lol. I received this arc for my honest review; and in my honest opinion this is definitely worth the read. I am already ready for the second book.

The storyline is intriguing. The supporting characters are likable. I just had issues with a lack of fondness for the biting character of the Protagonist. Her independence came across as being born more from chosen ignorance than from strength. I also got a little lost in the dialogue at times not knowing who was really talking. Good story though. -I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

The book starts at a happening note and then all of sudden action from all fronts breaks out. Though the book is action packed, the first few pages does not let the reader digest what's going on. It's only a little way into the book that one flows with the story.

I honestly had a hard time getting into this book. The book ends at a cliffhanger.

Ember has been living a very lonely and hard life. She’s easy to empathize with, left as a baby and bounced out of foster care at 16, she’s been alone for so long with no idea about her past. Meeting Cody at her carnival job kick starts her introduction to the world of shifters and a quest to save herself and find out the truth.

Ember was a foundling - brought up in foster homes, and now working a carnival to stay alive. She has no idea about her parents - and no idea of the secret she carries - until she is attacked by a creature that cant be real - and rescued by three men who know more about her than she does herself. They take her to their home - but is she safe there? Or will the threat follow her? Will she find out the truth about her birth?

Nope. Done

She's a 25 year old carnival worker.....thats your FMC. The story seems choppy. She's bitchy. Not like awesome sarcasm bitchy, but throat punch her kind. The emotions are super hot and cold and for someone who doesn't like people she gives in to a weird 3 way pretty fast... and just....it's hard to read. Won't be going forward with this series
