Short, sweet, and swoony ❤️
Jax (34) and Jessa (22) have been in love with each other for four years. It was love at first sight for the both of them when her brother introduced him to her when she was eighteen.
Then one day, Jax was informed that his father (who he believed was dead already years ago) died and he left him his billion dollar empire. Trying to be a good person and not wanting anyone to lose their jobs. He took the reigns and didn't re-up his contract with the SEAL.
Then he finally made his moves to claim Jessa. He thinks he's not good enough for her, but with his new money he knows he can provide and care for her like no one else can. He still thinks he's not good enough but he knows no one will love her just as much as he does.
Jessa is in love with him but hesitant cuz she thinks giving in to the attraction will ruin Jax and her brother's friendship. She also wanted children but Jax said he doesn't want them (he was hurting and angry that night when he said those things, but he wanted kids with Jessa). So there's a little bit of pulling from her side but Jax is persistent and he thinks that they've already wasted four years of their lives.
Eventually they got their HEA and her brother knows that Jax and Jessa are inevitable and he has no problem with it.
Overall, I had fun reading this and it is so freaking adorable. I really like the mutual pining and that they're not involved with other people all throughout those years. ❤️

I really loved Jax and Jessa! Safe best friend’s sibling stories are hard to find. What a relief it was when this one turned out to be safe. I like my hero to be more alpha and go after the heroine and Jax waited 4 years. However, I kinda understood where he was coming from.

This was recommended to me and it was so on point with what I wanted to read right now. Both main characters begin the book already in love, but each had some fears related to confessing that love. The book is first person, dual POV, H isn't a virgin but has been celibate since seeing the h, and the h is a virgin. No ow/om drama, they just see each other.
The H has recently inherited billions and left the military and he's ready to pursue that love. The h was sweet and a bit insecure, but also had some sassiness. Their best friends also come into play as the H is best friends with the h's older brother, who's in love with the h's best friend. I loved the focus, possessiveness, and bossiness that came out with the H when it came to her. The steaminess was great and I thought it was balanced out nicely with showing how they had loved each other for years and addressing the concerns of what had kept them apart. I loved that there was an extended epilogue and overall this was such a good read.

Another awesome, steamy, sweet n sticky read from Nichole rose. Always can depend on her to deliver the goods: a growly, possessive alpha hero and innocent heroine that’s totally a safe read.
Hero’s past isn’t mentioned except to say he’s been celibate since meeting the heroine. Heroine is a virgin and belongs only to the hero. No ow/om drama, no abuse or cheating of any kind. HEA with epilogue.

I was curious about Jax when we briefly met him at the end of Protect You and Jessa in Black Velvet. Totally didn't think they would be each other's one! While Dane from His Secret Bride has always been my favorite, now Jax is right there with him. Their reasons for keeping their feelings for each other a secret were so sweet and understandable. I love that Jessa could see Jax's vulnerability and protected it. And their tattoos......OMG! Love this story so much!!

Surprise! Jessa, has also loved Jax from the moment she met him. She has basically been pining for him for years. Even when he starts to show his feelings she can't bring herself to actually believe that he might want her of all people. After all, he's an incredibly gorgeous billionaire and she is a curvy, struggling, student.

Lucky for them (and us) Nichole Rose knows what they want and would never leave this couple without their HEA. It's a lovely Novella and I enjoy Jax's POV and the love and commitment he has for Jessa.

But she can't avoid him anymore; he's her new boss at the casino where she works and he wants her the way he always has.
Commentary: Ah, the burning fire of unrequited love! Lucky for them, the love is on both sides. We have the standard "I can't date my best friend's sister" trope (which I've never truly understood). Her brother stands down fairly quickly, mostly because he has his own love woes going on, but he does offer some resistance. By then, though, it's too late; they are already fully bonded and stuck together.
This story was loosely connected to the Nashville books; in Black Velvet the group hangs out in the lounge where Jessa works, and she's one chosen to waitress for them.

Sometimes you just want a read where there's no crazy drama, angst or turmoil but you've got an H that's still alpha and brings the heat/swoon level. Jax was top notch. Jessa was a sweet character as well, and it was easy to want to root for these two. This was a quick read but it satisfied my want for a lighthearted, sweet, and enjoyable read. I definitely would recommend this and I'm looking forward to reading more of Ms. Rose's works.

You'll love Jessa and Jax's story and it's a great start to the new Billionaire's Club Series. Jax is Jessa's brother's best friend. She's younger and off limits. He fell in love with her the first time he saw her and she killed any interest in other women. What happens when father he never knew he had leaves him a billion dollar business? What happens when they each realize they both feel the same way? Does her brother complicate things. Talk about a great book. Once I started reading I couldn't put it down. Steamy and no shortage of sexy scenes. The characters are wonderful and their chemistry is off the charts. A great epilogue and a sweet and sticky HEA. I read an advance copy via the author and voluntarily chose to review it.

Jax was on a mission to get the girl the entire time, and his character was so endearing you can’t help but love him and root for the navy seal turned billionaire. The alpha men are always a bright spot in Nichole Rose’s books, but the WOMEN SHE WRITES ARE ICONIC! Jessa was a real curvy woman who is so relatable, funny, has a cute pet, and loves to challenge the men in her life. What more could you want! The relationship between the two sets of best friends was friend goals, and I can’t wait to read about Gwen and Cyrus’s journey eventually. Loved this safe read! Loved the epilogue! Loved the happily ever after!

Brother's BFF turned h's best friend and then ended up together as a lover. How sweet that was. I liked how this particular story showed us how money (being rich) could be the biggest hurdle in a relationship; insecurities run deep, people stigma of being a gold digger, etc. Plus, their relationship was already into deep way before H becoming a billionaire. A sweet courting at that too, though it took too much time for H to finally claim h.

I don’t think I’ve read a single book by Nichole that I didn’t love, this one was no different. Jax and Jessa have been teetering around how they feel for one another for years, until one day Jax gets some way unexpected news and suddenly becomes her billionaire boss. When he sees her again he decides he’s not hiding his feelings anymore and all bets are off. I’m SO glad they finally stopped ignoring their feelings. Their story is one of my favorites. Their chemistry and banter are wonderful. Definitely a feel good read.

This was okay? Very typical billionaire in love with best friends sister (innocent virgin who has been in love with him since she was 16). Definitely alpha male vibes, with a sweet but determined younger female. It wasn't bad, but I don't think I could say it was good 🤷♀️

This was such a great book, Jax is so swoon worthy and Jessa is so sweet and kind. They are two good characters who absolutely deserve one another.
Jax has loved his best friends little sister since the day he met her four years ago. She has loved him just as long, he is a Navy SEAL who was waiting for the best time to get his girl. That time comes when a father who he thought long dead leaves him a billion dollar hospitality empire. Knowing thousands of employees livelihoods depend on him he leaves his SEAL team to become CEO of the company. Jessa works at one of his hotels but keeps it quiet, she doesn’t want anyone to gossip about them or say anything bad about Jax using his power to be with her. They have a moment six months prior but Jax was drunk and said he never wants kids, that breaks Jessa’s heart, since she loves kids and wants them. She avoids him after that until he can’t take it anymore. When he gives her best friend/roommate, Gwen and her tickets to a benefit concert she refuses to attend with him because he’s her boss, he comes to her place and they really talk. They both confess their love and enjoy some heavy petting. (Side story of Gwen and her brother Cyrus who both love each other but fight it hard.) Jessa sends Cyrus to the concert, not telling Gwen he will be there, hoping her matchmaking works. But, Gwen returns home in tears and Jax goes outside to talk to Cyrus. Cyrus doesn’t want to talk about Gwen, they do talk about him and Jessa, he tells him he loves Jessa and will be marrying her. Cyrus says he knew they loved each other and was expecting it. I loved how thoughtful of each other Jax and Jessa were, so caring and loving. There was no holding back for either of them once they confessed their feelings. His proposal with her mom’s ring was sweet. Their first time together was super hot, his dirty talk was just right. I loved the scene with the revelation of his tattoo and hers.
Cute epilogue with two daughters and a third on the way. Jax worry that he would be a terrible father was not even a thing, he loved his little girls from the moment they were conceived.

There were a lot of things I liked about this book. Jax was, of course, a dream. Nichole Rose consistently delivers on wonderfully jealous and possessive heroes who know their women from the moment they meet them. I particularly liked how Jax cared about Cyrus’s feelings but didn’t let them determine his relationship with Jessa—I find it incredibly annoying when heroes are so worried about the opinions of their friends that they don’t go after the heroine. Jessa was also adorable and shy, and I admired that she made Jax work for it. The side characters were interesting too—particularly the drama between Cyrus and Gwen. I was almost as interested in their story as I was in the main relationship. Jessa’s dog was cute as well, and I loved Jax even more when he paid special attention to the puppy.
I definitely recommend this book and all of Rose’s stories. I’m giving this novella four stars because even though I can’t put my finger on why, it just didn’t seem to have quite the same “wow” factor as some of Rose’s other couples. However, the book was still thoroughly enjoyable and a wonderful billionaire romance.

4.5/5 STARS. So Jaxon is a former SEAL but had to leave because he inherited his fathers billion dollar company. Jaxon has been in love with his best friends sister since he first met Jessa. She loves Jaxon the same but never said anything because they were best friends and she didn’t want to ruin their friendship. A couple of weeks after he was appointed head of his fathers company he showed up drunk on her doorstep telling her that he didn’t want kids and then he tried to kiss her which she denied because he wouldn’t remember or so she thought. From that moment on Jessa started avoiding him and he tried to avoid her but never fully could and he got mad that she stayed away from him. He comes one night to her job and asks her out to which she denies and then the night after he shows up at her house with dinner. Dinner quickly turns into them talking and then making out and professing their love to which is interrupted by Gwen and Cyrus. He bought a house near Nashville for her to be close to her university and he asked her to marry him in that house and then they made love. No more spoilers.
SMUT: Not much but there was a lot of sexual tension at the start between the 2. They have 2 kids, Lola, Liah and Lyra is on the way. 4/5.

Another fantastic read from the prolific Nichole Rose! I loved that this couple, Jessa and Jax have a history. Jax has been Jessa's brother's best friend for a while. She had a crush on him but figured there was no way he would ever be interested in his friend's very curvy sister. She was content with friendship being their only connection. Now he has inherited a company and billions from a father that he never met. With that brings untold amounts of stress on Jax and she hasn't been there for him. It was just too hard to pretend right now that she isn't in love with him. Jax figured he had his work cut out for him. He had loved Jessa for so long and he just couldn't fight it anymore. He has no idea how she feels and I loved that. I loved his nickname for her and how she got it, talk about off the charts adorable all the way around. I devoured this one like I have all the rest of Ms Rose's work and adored every moment!

LOVED. IT!
My favourites from Nichole are Possessing Liberty and Hold you, but this title has immediately jumped up there to join the crew.
This book had a little bit of a different feel to it compared to Nichole’s other works, which I honestly loved about it. I loved the heat and the tension. This book will have you feeling hot under the collar and steaming up your glasses. Which is ok, because if you’re anything like the characters, they’ll probably be tossed aside anyway, smudges and all!
Nichole’s writing is a gift and always comes wrapped up with a satisfying HEA bow. Brilliant read, I definitely recommend!

Jax loved Jessa but never told her or he brother, he didn't want to hurt their friendship. Years pass, he's a Navy Seal, in and out of the country but never forgets Jessa. He gets notified his father died and left him a billionaire, he was always told his father died when he was a child. He wasn't a happy camper. Same old, same old
Same story I’ve read a thousand times...strong attraction between the H and h. The H is, of course, the h’s brother’s best friend. Both are single. Both feel the ‘pull’ of attraction.
But, the h’s brother-for some reason, it’s always her brother, wouldn’t approve of them seeing each other.
And she always acquiesces to her perceived vision of her brother’s feelings.
There must be a lot of very weird brothers out there.
And sisters.
And best friends.
For me, this trope has gotten old. It was dumb when it was new.
