It was high time Jewel found out she had people that cared about her!
Enough to rescue her from the evil that nearly cost her her life the first time….
And i was so happy i could follow her journey towards a better place with the ARC Laylah so generously shared!
An honest review will be no problem…..at all!

Jewel always kept to herself, avoiding friendships.
Because if there was one thing she’d learned, letting people get close would only end up in them getting hurt,or worse…..
So when she got the message to return to the very man that almost cost her her life, she knew she had no choice.
Not if she wanted to protect the person that meant the most to her…

Jason (sorry!) Pike tried to go slow with Jewel, but when she went missing, all the breaks were off.
Once he found her, hearing her lying to him just to make him leave, made him only more determined to save her.
Not only from that evil man,but from herself, too.
He fought his way into the world she was in,and took her.
Getting her to stay with him freely, accepting the fact they were meant for eachother, that was the hard part.
Because the way she saw herself just wasn’t acceptable!
And he would gladly spend the rest of their lives showing her how beautiful she really was.
Showing her that what she saw as her weird fit perfectly with his….

But Jewel had a dark past, and breaking free of that was só hard…..
Accepting the fact that his family thought her worthy of being with Jason?
Ouch, that was another one added to the spanking…..Sorry! With Pike?
And what of that other person?
Would he be able to see the real Jewel, too?

Laylah knows how to heal the littles in this series.
She pairs them with the perfect Daddies, dark and bad towards the enemy, and sweet and caring for their littles.
As long as they behave, that is….because they can also be stern if they have to.

I ám left with one question, though.
The Fox….when will he find a little?
Because he obviously drank the water that seems to have infected all those Daddies and their littles, lol

His Hidden Gem

Okay I will admit I wasn't sure if I was going to like this one, I typically don't enjoy older women and younger men romances. BUT I absolutely adore this series and I love everything I've read by Laylah so far.

Jason aka Pike may have been younger but he was very much the dominate in charge one the relationship. How much he loved and cared for Jewel really got me in all the feels.

I also really enjoyed that Jewel was older a Little, we don't see a lot of those or at least I don't in books so it was a nice change. I also really liked that she was a very strong woman who had for the longest time taken care of everyone else around her. And to watch her learn to love and to trust and to give over control was something I really could relate to and appreciate.

This was a great addition to the series and I cannot wait for more!

I loved Pike! And of course now Laylah introduced even more characters (Jagger, Dusty, Sting, and, hell, even Ma Mathers!) that will need to get their own books, too!

I have no clue what the hell happened to my review on this book.
I Know I read it and left one.
But it disappeared and the review was gone when I was looking at the other MC Daddy books in this series.
So that’s fucking annoying.

I don’t get it.
But I’m not gonna try and write another one. I don’t remember enough to write an honest review. And I read it too short of a time ago to want to read it again like I did with the rest of the series.

*sigh*
What a cluster fuck.

Re-Read: 10/16/22
4.6 stars.
Not gonna lie.
Jason is so freakin cute. I Love him, so much in this.
And Jewel! I loved her story and how strong she was throughout everything.
I wish she got a bit more out of a few things that happened, but it was all so good anyway.
I’m so glad I reread this book.
I don’t know why I thought it was ten times sadder than it was.
Jason is one of my favorites of this series, for sure.
He’s so cute and goofy and he brings out the same in Jewel which is so freakin perfect for her.
*sigh* *swoon*

This is the fifth book about a group of biker Daddies and their Littles; because so many lines of action and secondary characters appeared in previous books, I hesitate to call this a standalone. Here we get the friends-to-lovers romance of Jewel and Jason. Not wanting to scare her off, he's never admitted his true feelings to the very private woman -- until she disappears; when he finds her, all bets are off.

I really wanted to like this more than I did. I had such high hopes for it since Jewel was slightly older, and more self-sufficient, sarcastic, and complicated than the other women. Unfortunately, she's much less interesting here; indeed, she evinces very little agency or active role in any line of action since she's stuck in Jason's family's house for most of the book. While I understand that for the character, it was a relief to have someone take care of her after being alone for so long, for this reader, it was simply monotonous. And Jason was even less compelling since his only salient characteristic was telling Jewel how much he was going to take care of her. Finally, this seemed even more repetitive than this author's books usually are: conversations regarding Jewel's low self-esteem and inability to commit were recycled throughout.

Those who like devoted Daddies and mild age play will probably enjoy those many scenes (Jewel's "age" is more Middle). I also appreciated the bittersweet aspects of the ending. And it's always good to see Fox.

3 stars. Jason's family were by far the most interesting characters here; I imagine we'll see them again at some point. I did appreciate Ms. Roberts' trigger warning and wish more authors included one. Note: No one in the US says "posh."

Out of the 5 books in this series so far, this one has been the most emotional. It's a little dark and your heart will ache for what Jewel has been though in her life. I loved the connection between Jason and Jewel and when she disappears, he will move Heaven and Earth to find her. I honestly can't say a lot in this review because I don't want to give anything away but Ms. Roberts has hit this story out of the park!! It's gritty, it's rough and you may cry but it's also beautifully written. Watching Jason help Jewel overcome her past and be free was so touching! Of course, getting to see previous characters, including you know who, is always a treat!!! It keeps them all fresh in our minds! ;)

Quick Summary
We finally get Jewel’s story and it was full of twists and turns I honestly didn’t see coming but enjoyed none the less. Jewel’s dark past managed to find her again and when the lives of everyone she loves, are threatened, she’ll face her demons again, to keep them safe.

She didn’t need a white knight. She needed a monster. Someone bigger, stronger, nastier than the evil stalking her.

She thinks she has to go it alone but she didn’t count on quiet and unsuspecting Jason coming to her rescue, ready and willing to lay down his life for her.

“I’m not a white knight. I’m the fucking monster.”

“Not sure that’s a better thing.”

“It is when you hold my leash.”

The teasers we got from LR were just the tip of this insanely hot, OTT (in the best way!) possessive, completely devoted and romantic Daddy ice berg that is Jason aka Pike Mathers.

Highly recommend. It can be read as a stand alone but the series is interconnected and will shed some light on some ongoing/recurring characters. Start now or go back to the beginning. It’s all good 😊

🖤 ~ My Thoughts ~ 🖤
Jason is the type of Hero I instantly fall for. He was crazy for his girl and he wasn’t shy about wearing his heart on his sleeve for her. He never missed an opportunity to praise her, reassure her and just plain love on her. It’s been awhile since I’ve read this type of alpha Hero and I’m so glad that LR wrote Jason like this! And that Jewel was the one paired up with him because these two fit together so perfectly!

“You. Are. A. Queen. All you gotta do is realize that and there is nothing that is too good for you, understand?”

*Sigh*

This book was chock full of emotion and the chemistry was off the charts. Hands down, one of my favorite books/couples of this series! Although some of the topics and obstacles these two have to face are a lot darker than previous books, the underlying message of hope, forgiveness, love and trust was powerful and gripping.

The dark is balanced out with some really romantic/heartfelt scenes and quiet a few funny ones that will have you cracking a big smile and re-reading it again and again!

Heat Level: 5/5

Also, now that I’ve been introduced to the Mathers family, I’m keeping my fingers crossed we get to see them each get their own story and HEA 😊

🥰 Favorite Swoon-worthy Moment 🥰
"I can share, Daddy. I'm a good sharer."

"Not too good I hope," he murmured, forking some up for her. "Because I don't share well and I never intend to share you."

Leaning forward, she kissed his nose. "Silly Daddy. I'd never share you."

Her Daddy’s Jewel is the fifth book in Laylah Roberts’ MC Daddies series. In this book, Ms. Roberts introduces readers to Jewel Thomas and Pike “Jason” Mathers. She is a wounded dove trying to be an eagle. He is a bad biker who happens to come from a wealthy crime family. She is the victim of a kidnapping, held captive for years, and physically and emotionally tortured. She manages to escape, but the vile man who did that pursues her and kidnaps her again. Only, by now, she fell into Jason’s orbit. She awakens his possessive and protective nature. After her experience with Maxwell, her previous jailor, Jewel is fearful. Will Jason and Jewel find happiness? Will he rescue her from Maxwell? Will Maxwell be eliminated? You must read this book to discover what unfolds.

I enjoyed this well-written romantic suspense. I liked Ms. Roberts’ writing style. She masterfully created two multi-layered protagonists. Likewise, even her antagonist is well constructed. I appreciated her skill with dialog, both conversational and internal. Ms. Roberts possesses a knack with descriptive language. She paints vivid descriptive scenes. One, in particular, her flight of escape in the woods found me riveted to my chair. This scene along with others capture the readers’ attention. Nice job Ms. Roberts!

"If only this was some fairytale. But it wasn't. And she was no princess in the tower. She didn't need a white knight. She needed a monster. Someone bigger, stronger, nastier than the evil stalking her." Jewel's past comes back to haunt her in a way she never imagined. The wildness she exhibits behind the safety of Reyes's bar and the protection offered by the club is only surface deep for her strength. But having to go back to the man who abused her, made a mockery of her esteem and forced her into a numb shell to protect the one she loves is only a sign of her courage. Can Jason's love help her to recover her future? Will his presence guide her away from her demons? Will he keep her sane when nightmares surround her?
Note: this story deals with the after effects of a rape. The heroine has a darker past than most of the characters written by Laylah Roberts.

Loved it but ending left me disappointed

Warning: Spoiler Alert!
That’s basically my review. I absolutely loved everything about the story and the continuation of this cute Ddlg biker trope but I would’ve liked more of a resolution between Jewel and her son, Callen. I mean he was basically stolen from her. It would’ve been nice if he would’ve joined in the surprise birthday party that Pike gave her at the end. So for me, it kind of ended a bit anti-climactically and it was almost like a cliffhanger but not, because you get the impression that she’s not gonna be spending much time with him in the future and it left you hanging because her disappointment was palpable. Overall, the conclusion was all too rushed. That was my only disappointment.

Jewel finally has her HEA story.

Jason can talk! Who wouldn't thunk it? Anyway he's perfect for Jewel and knows enough to not believe her when she's kidnapped and trying to keep everyone safe. Good man. Good suspense but I wish she'd have asked for a long overdue hug from Callen before he left and there's quite a few unanswered questions by the end- who's his family and what are they into; how did Dusty's date go; what happened to the bad guys' minions; which of the girls were bad; does she ever have a relationship with Callen; what was Jason's age; etc. A reminder on who Markovich is would've helped too.

“If only this was some fairytale. But it wasn't. And she was no princess in the tower. She didn't need a white knight. She needed a monster. Someone bigger, stronger, nastier than the evil stalking her."

“Her Daddy’s Jewel” is book 5 in the MC Daddies series from Laylah Roberts. Each book in this series contains a relationship with some kind of age play component. If you’ve never read a book like that, this is a good series to try because each one also has a very good, action-packed story with interesting characters, and is well-written. Please be aware that Jewel, the female lead character in the story, has experienced abuse in the past that could potentially be a trigger for some readers. That abuse doesn’t take place within this book.

If you’ve read previous books in the series, you’ll probably remember both Jewel and Jason. Each of them has a background full of secrets. To describe Jewel’s past as difficult is a huge understatement. She has survived the kind of experiences that nightmares are made of. Now she’s putting her life back in the hands of the man who made it a living hell, because he’s threatening the most important person in her life. Quiet Jason has been interested in her for the longest time, but he’s been taking it slow and giving her space. When she goes missing, there’s literally nothing he won’t do to find her. He has a lot of hidden depth, and a difficult past of his own. This is an intense story and an emotional one. Jason rescues Jewel from the darkness in her life, and she rescues him right back.

There is some solid humor scattered throughout the book, which provides a good balance for the serious parts. Jewel isn’t really a little … she’s described as a ‘middle’ which was a term I hadn’t heard before. She’s also a few years older than Jason, but that’s completely a non-issue. He is absolutely her perfect match. This book engaged my attention from the very start and kept it all the way through. In addition to seeing some characters you’ll recognize if you read any of the other stories, we’re introduced to Jason’s family, and I’m hoping they’ll each get their own story because their characters are so good!

This is book 5 in the incredible MC Daddies series and these books should be read in order. Also, if you haven't read any of the Montana Daddies books you might want to start after this one. The series don't intermingle a lot, but there is some character overlap and the stories will spark your interest. I suggest reading everything Laylah Roberts writes because you won't be disappointed. Her characters are amazingly complex, her romances are believable and the perfect blend of spicy and sweet, and her stories are full of exciting suspense and delicious sexiness.

This story has a disclaimer about possible trigger warnings, but the events are in the past and glossed over in a way that will break your heart without being overly dark. You can even skip the pages where the events are discussed because other than nightmares they aren't really part of the book itself. I do appreciate that even though the events aren't described in detail there is warning so you know to prepare yourself.

This one is about Jewel and Jason, and neither of them have had an easy life. If you have read the rest of the series you will know Jewel's backstory isn't a sweet one. She was in and out of foster homes and trust doesn't come easy. She has this idea that she has to take on the world by herself, and that can sometimes lead to trouble. You will also know that Jason is a pretty quiet guy. He is the silent strong type and he doesn't miss much when it comes to what's going on around him. One of my favorite things about this book was getting to meet more new characters and the hope of another series with more interconnected characters. I will never get enough of Ms. Roberts' worlds and every book leaves me desperately waiting for the next one.

This story had my emotions all over the place and every page made me feel something different from the page before. There are moments that are full of fear and anger and other moments of giddy laughter and lighthearted love. Then there are the moments of intense passion that fill you with longing. The story has everything you could want in a romance and once you start you won't be able to put it down.

What a simply fantastic addition to this wonderful series
This is quite the read and as I do not want to spoil the actual plot, I will be guarded about how much I describe as I do not want to spoil the read for others. Jewel had been rescued by Reyes head of Iron Shadows and he had helped he to kill the man that had terrorised her for years and for the first time she had a home and friends, almost family until that fateful night as she worked behind the bar and the nightmare was on her again.
Pike could not understand it where had she gone, he knew that Jewel had not been acting as she normally did but now, she had disappeared and even her best friend Sunny had no idea what was going on and was heartbroken.
Jewel had known that she had to return to him the horror from her past, her subjugator a tyrant, a mad man who would do anything just to raise a smile he was wickedness incarnate but if she was to keep the most important person in her life safe along with her dear friends, she had no choice. She had to walk away and leave them all no matter what happened to her and this time she knew he would eventually kill her, but what would he do with her in the meantime that was far worse.
Read this simply amazing book and see how Jordan “Pike” had gone to find her and to bring her back to those that cared for her, who would have believed his girl would have gone through so much horror. He would stop it all and take her worries and concerns and make them his and if she objects put her over his knee.
I voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader Copy
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.

Really Good!!

Tell me why it’s 3 AM and I’m still awake? Oh yeah it’s because I decided to start a ridiculously good book and then had to finish it in one sitting. I absolutely loved Jewel and Jason’s story. One thing I truly loved about Jason that was different than the other lead male characters was that he was confident in his desire to be with the Jewel. I have struggled in the other books with the amount of hurt. caused with their struggles to commit or admit their emotions and feelings. And when I say I struggled, I mean in the best way possible. In real life most people don’t get all the way into adulthood unscathed without any broken pieces so to speak it’s how we work to put them back together that counts. So while it was difficult to read, it also made the characters more relatable, and well rounded to a certain extent. But Jason was absolutely amazing, and had enough confidence for the both him and Jewel. I love Jewels character. I admire the strength she had in the way she cared so fiercely for those important to her. Layla Roberts never disappoints, she builds strong characters and worlds that you will miss when finished reading. If you haven’t read the series at all, I recommend you start from the beginning as it will be a better read overall. The characters continue to show up and you learn more about them through each book. There’s also an underlying plot that thread through each one. The overall experience is better.

It’s obvious that this author doesn’t write such dark themes in her other books.
It was rather unrealistic how Jewel just went back to Maxwell without any fuss. She legitimately went back to him herself. She has enough people around her that could help, she is aware that her friends had suffered through stuff as well and the boys always rescued them. Why would she refuse to get help from her biker gang and just go back to Maxwell??? Especially cause Maxwell threatened her son, she doesn’t even has contact too. So to bring him somewhere save with the help of the guys would’ve been so easy.

Jewel was described as a confident and crucially smart woman in the other books, but in this one she acted like a dumbass 24/7. Jason is literally there to help her and she refuses his help?? Worst Main Character of the whole series.
She actually pushed herself to play along when Maxwell, her and Jason are in a room, so Jason doesn’t get suspicious and reveals her lies…😒 seriously?

What I did like about this book, is that the playing (in terms of being in a headspace) aspect of the dynamic happens more often than in all the other books. That’s why I read ddlg books, so that I also read about them actually act out the dynamic and not them fucking 24/7. (Which still happened a lot in this book🫠 skipped them all🤌🏻)

Not sure that is a better thing.

Jason isy favourite man omg I did not think this will come out of him he was always the quite one really no body knew a thing about him . jewels was the baddy from the beginning and also we knew nothing about her past or life and pain and I loved this and how each character was fully explained and understood.

loved the beginning and how he NEVER give up on her and bought for her even though she pushed him a way and hurt him also I loved him he is my favourite man he was so crazy and always was like I am yours and I am your monster and your stalker and your psycho and also he was so sweet to her and never pushed her at all. he also giv d her time at the beginning before all of this and took it slow for her but he exploded after she left .loved her too she did everything to safe what she loved and also never hurt him but needed him and trusted him to save and care and love her the beginning ay she needed .loved the plot and his family and all of Thier characters and relationship development 💘💘. loved all the new characters and the plot was nice but still curious about Ms X. loved her conversation with Colleen and wish they move on .loved this much and loved how Jason was like I am whatever you need me to be idc .

The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it and this one here it is the scratch to your itch or better yet the filling to your oreos! Speaking of filling…..wait, that’s for later. Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with!
YOU’VE BEEN WARNED!
This is book five of the MC Daddies series it appears each book will read as a standalone however, why just read one when you can start at the beginning and keep reading through the series be prepared it is a little dark but in a good way. Jewel is sweet, tries her best to be kind to others but broken her past has so much pain at the hands of one man who has taken things way to far. Jason is a sexy as all get out older daddy,(or so we think) also, broken fighting ghost from the past daily to maintain his sanity and he has loved Jewel from day one he sensed she needed to work up to them being together and he is the man to give her that time; well until she come up missing. Jason is sweet but he keeps the beast hidden from everyone and the beast won’t stop until he has the one person that calms the beast within. Will Jason save her, will she calm the beast and can Jewel finally have happiness?

Loved it, but it’s a bit depressing how much Jewel has gone through.

When Jewel goes missing, Jason/Pike is on the hunt to find her, and claim her. He’s wanted her for two years but was taking it slowly….. There’s slow and then there’s this. 🙄 TWO YEARS!!! Blimey, no wonder Jewel didn’t think he was interested in her. Jewel has had a hard life, a very very very hard life. It’s totally unbelievable that so much could happen to one person, and depressing. Having said all that, I loved both of their characters and I really loved that they didn’t rush into bed. The biggest shock of all was that she actually had counselling! 😱 I say the biggest shock, as I’m so sick of books that the heroine has been through so much trauma and be perfectly fine. So it’s fantastic to read a more realistic book.

While I’m enjoying this series, the author really should change the titles, as it’s no way an Mc. They all lead separate lives and no one knows anything about who they really are. This one was the worst yet. As Pike/Jason is really really rich and leads a totally separate life to his Mc ‘brothers’ and there’s virtually nothing about the Mc or the brothers at all.

Still really enjoyed it with all the negatives.

Jewel had learnt from the past to not to let people get close or attached. But she had messed up this time as a nightmare from her past had reappeared and this time she might not survive. Jason had intended to slowly build up Jewel's trust in him in order to prove that he could be her man, lover and Daddy. But then she had disappeared and whoever had her was going to pay as Jason had some secrets of his own - they had unleashed the beast and they needed to prepare for the consequences.

Trigger warning - Jewel has experienced abuse in the past which may be unacceptable to people reading this.

I loved the way that Jason was far more complex than certainly, I had realised and that this book was all about both of them finding out each other's secrets, learning to trust the other and then taking action to solidify their relationship (while dealing with the problems around them). There was a lot about emotions, thoughts and feelings in this one which was quite interesting as it was the only way to bring these two people together. Contains mature content around a BDSM DDLG relationship.

We’ve met Jewel a few times in the books and she’s a really good friend to the other girls but it was great to find out some of her backstory and the trauma she had experienced - and wow she is so strong to have gone through what she had and come out the other side.

Unlike the other books where the MC meets the FC and then becomes her Daddy whilst protecting her. Jason and Jewel are already friends and have been for a while but they’ve never explored their relationship to the point Jewel doesn’t even realise they have one until Jason arrives to save the day.

Jason is a whole contradiction of a man, and I’m here for it. Think super obsessive and possessive, touch her and die vibes whilst being tender, patient and caring and SO romantic. He’s such a sweetheart although slightly scary at times by just how into Jewel he is.

A lot of the story is spent in a bedroom - either in a hotel or at his family home and although there are sexual scenes there’s also a lot of emotional and endearing scenes as they break down boundaries and recover from past traumatic experiences.

Finished this wonderful book at 4 am. 🥹 cried, Laughed, and happy for her hea. Beginning was intense but loved it. My body became tingling and tense at the intensity of their relationship in the beginning. The things she said to push him a way to protect him😭 gave my body the tingles. uggh that hurt feeling even though it’s a third person pov. I loved this a lot. It was a great slow burn. the amount of communication and banter of a middle/little brat. the discovery for both characters of their bdsm preferences was such an amazing experience to read. First time reading about a middle/little who isn’t younger from laylah. Most I’ve read like the diaper and bottle feeding and pacifier which all power to you but I think it was a nice change to read about her. Loved the independence that she had to held on for so long and willing to let go so he can talk care of her. Loved the therapy talk for both parties. Ugghhh as I kept reading I fell more in love with him and his possession towards her. 🥲🥲🥹🥹❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

spice 🌶️🌶️🌶️
oh the spice scene. so intimate. fmc gaining back her control.. letting him do that for her. ohh my heart swooned.

Jewel and Jason

TW: r@pe, noncon, SA, k!dnapping, dr*gged, tort*re(psychological), ab*se, DV, slight sta/king

This was a heavy one but I expected nothing less from Jewels story. I knew it would be a rough but amazing one. I am glad I didn’t have to wait until like the last book in the series as they’ve been teasing this since book 1. It took me forever to read but only because I had a craving for a very different type of book like a week ago and couldn’t get into this. I knew if I pushed through I would be disappointed and that’s dumb because this book was great. So I took a great. But really I had like maybe 1.5 hours left of it? Anyyway
Jewel was as expected a bada$$ and I honestly could read with her forever. Jason was also great and his basically sta/ker vibes were wonderful.

Tropes: touch her and d!e, over protective MMC, damsel in distress(but she’s also a bada$$), strong FMC, take no sh!t FMC, he sorta sta/ked her(to keep her safe 😉), she was taken and he gets her back, hurt/comfort, she’s touch starved, he fell first and harder

Spice: 🌶️
Steam: 🔥🔥
Sweetness: 💗💗💗💗
Sta/ker boys: 🤭

This is like my second or third story with a Daddy Dom/Little kink, so it’s still a new subject to me to get i to but luckily enough that happens more towards the end, but I had to draw the line and skip some parts because I wasn’t going to read him playing with Jewel’s when she’s on her period and talking about getting blood on things.. eww!

Grew up in foster care, Julie, well now she goes by Jewel, rough life even when was pregnant at 15, her son kidnapped and more rough into her adulthood by a manipulative ‘Master’. And when she got free he had to build herself back up, and watch her son from a distance. But the people who helped her heal was a close friend like a brother and a fellow woman who is like a sister. Unfortunately there one guy, Jason ‘Pike’ that has a huge secret/fantasy that involves Jewels, but he’s not the only obsessive & possessive male in her life. Will Jewels sacrifice herself for a good cause to one monster or will her other monster become a dominant obstacle???

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. First off, I have been a fan of this series from the beginning. I have anticipated each addition to it. In this book, Jewel and Pike have a friendship that developed into a great Daddy and Little couple. Regardless of how they sometimes walk that line, he has always considered her his girl. They have a way of fitting like puzzle pieces. Jewel has trouble looking for her though. When the past comes for her, he is the man who will go to the ends of the earth to slay her dragons. Throw in a Fox and the story becomes even more complicated. I loved the characters and the storyline! It is full of heartache, friendship, drama, danger, family, twist and turns, lust and love. I was so happy that these two finally trusted their hearts and got to be together. This was a hard book to lay down. I am really looking forward to the next book with Razor and Tabby

This story was pretty good, it was interesting seeing one about an older little. Jason was crazy, but like hot crazy.

One thing about this series though is that even though it literally have MC in the title...there's literally zero part of the story that involves them being in an MC. The first book had a bit but ever since then, nope. Like they guys don't even take their girls on a ride, and in this book there wasn't even a mention of his bike like at all....

The last few books in this series have really dragged on and on. After reading so many in a row you get bored about halfway through because you know exactly what's going to happen. The H and h meet...the h has issues...they bond and get together then we get the middle chunk of the book of them just chilling and being together and then BAM in the last little bit she gets kidnapped and then he saves her like immediately and no harm was done to her.

The only think keeping me going with these books is Razors story is next and the mystery of who tf the fox is and what is his whole deal.

This is the fifth book in the MC Daddies series. This book has a protective & nurturing Daddy Dom who has no problem punishing his Little when she needs it. There are interconnected characters & you can read it as a standalone—there is an overarching plot, though. Jason/Pike has been watching Jewel for some time. Her past has caught up to her, and it is so difficult to learn of what has happened in her past & how it has affected her. This read had dark bits, plus a shiny bright future. I found a bit of lag in the first half (it started so well, fast-paced and action-filled) when Jewel is bratting & learning about being a Little. I didn’t feel the age gap at all. I liked Jewel’s vulnerability & Pike’s calm, deliberate care of her. It had such a sweet end to it. Pike’s family was great & I’d love to read Jagger’s story—and the Fox’s!

I received a copy of this book. My honest opinion is voluntarily provided.
