As a biography of a South African diplomat lead by the beacon of his Christian faith, the book delivers what it promises and met my expectations. I took more than my usual time to read it because I kept going back and forth between different verses and I took my time to reflect and inquire on various accounts. It definitely helped open my eyes and serve to enlighten me on a few matters and concepts relating to the Bible, Jesus, faith and God, which I'll keep pursuing. It lead to many awesome conversations between me and my boyfriend and newly acquainted friends of the same faith. As a baptized Orthodox Christian from Eastern Europe, the mannerisms of Protestants are refreshing and "up close and personal" towards God, simple and uncladded in ceremonies and gold ornaments. I've become fond of their variant and will carefully select other similar books to read about it in the future.
