The Lost Girl

Rate this book
Before the trip to Washington, D. C. the most excitement in Lyndsey Spencer's life were the occasional doubletakes when someone saw her mirror image with not one but two sisters. Growing up as identical triplets had been fun and it had never occurred to any of them that it could be dangerous. But now, as Lyndsey faced the letdown of returning to her post-vacation routine, odd things begin to pop up in her life. First, someone breaks into her house. A random occurrence - right? Still, she feels victimized. Then the assaults escalate until it becomes clear she is the target. She has moved from the periphery of someone's malicious scheme to dead center! Can she discover who's behind the violent attacks in time to escape, to save her life? Or is she destined to follow those steps taken so long ago? Will she fall to the same fate as the lost girl?

I'm a native Texan, mother of a large, all-grown family, and I love to spend time reading and writing. I'm also a movie-lover and, yes, I've been known to enjoy TV too! I studied English as an undergrad and in graduate school (great degree for anyone who wants to read a lot of good books!). I worked as an Assistant Librarian in a busy Branch Library where I did the Story Times for children and led the adult Book Club (still do, even though I don't work there any more). I would like to travel and see, first, more of this country and then, after that, who knows? And recently I completed a Master's in Education with a specialty in Reading. I guess it is true-you're never too old to learn!

My newest book and I read it through although it's difficult to look at it with fresh eyes since I wrote it. If it has any bearing on anyone's decision about whether to read it, I really enjoyed it! 😊
