Charlie and Daniel are getting married. Wedding planner Ellie Moon, is determined to give them a day to remember. After a tough year, she’s had to move out of her cosy cottage and in with her sister, while she rents her home out to a new tenant, the handsome mechanic Jago, who keeps popping up around the picture-postcard seaside village of Porthgolow
I grew up in London surrounded by books and with a cat named after Lawrence of Arabia. I studied English Literature at the University of East Anglia and live in Norwich with my husband David.
I'm a total book nerd and my TBR pile is out of control. I would quite like to be a ghost hunter, and I'm a huge fan of a fictional hero.
When I'm not writing, I spend my spare time reading, returning to London or exploring the beautiful Norfolk coastline.
I love hearing from readers, so please get in touch if you have a question or if you just want to say hello.
Did you know that if you store your wedding cake correctly, it will still be okay to eat over a year later? 🍰
Another fab little beauty from Cressida & not long to wait now for the final installment!
Ellie is trying to gain back the trust of Charlie, after her beloved bus Gertie was involved in a crash on her way to her pre-wedding makeover. Whilst over in Cornflower cottage tensions simmer between her & Jago, but not for the right reasons.

This is Book 3 of a 4 part book series. Note to readers, you can either read/listen to this as a 4 part book series like I’m going to or there is a full length novel which includes all of the 4 parts should you prefer to read it in that format.
Well if I thought part 2 had lots of drama, but part 3 has even more, lots happening to include a hidden find/discovery in the meadow that has been there for years without anyone knowing. I would go on and tell you other things that had been going on but then that would spoil it for readers and I certainly don’t want to do that.
As always there was mention of yummy food throughout which does make one peckish lols. So there’s not been much mention of Charlie & Daniels dogs (who are well known in previous books before this 4 part book series) but that’s find as there is a lovely beautiful cat instead called Monty albeit him being grumpy at times lols and he belongs to Ellie. I do love it when pets/animals feature in stories.
Right on to part 4, the last book to this series, the ultimate part of the story where the wedding must finally take place, here’s hoping it’ll be smooth sailing and all will go to plan as it should.
I felt so sorry for Ellie in this one and felt she needed a hug! Jago really, really annoyed me and while I get he was upset, I wanted to give him a shake. I'm off to read book 4 and see if he shapes up so he's worthy for our Ellie!!!!
Another brilliant instalment, no idea what will happen next, a few more twists and turns which is great. Really looking forward to the final instalment, but not wanting them to end.
