I was the kid who got in trouble at school for writing steamy stories on notebook paper folded into those tight triangular footballs for ease of passing around in the halls. I wrote everything from lemons, to sexy dreams, to the choose-your-own adventure sexcapades.
Now I write steamy romance, because sometimes, it's really beautiful when an intense chemistry leads to a happily ever after (or at least a happy for now).
I can't promise you that my characters will make good choices, but I can promise you a surprisingly thoughtful and wild ride.

I read pretty much everything - mysteries, horror, history, and yes- romances. D. S. Dane's prose skills are a standout among all of the authors I read. They really put you in the moment, building a story that's both realistic and pure fantasy. This type of romance isn't something I read often, so I appreciate how D. S. pulls you into that world and explains how things work without feeling like a lecture or a "let's stop the story for an info dump." And they always underline consent, which is so important in this type of tale. Highly recommend if you're looking for something spicy and want to try dipping your toe into these type of waters, it feels like a great starter story.
