Blay has discarded his playboy ways and has his sights set on a steady relationship with Amber’s half sister Dawn. A previous one or two night stand is throwing some complications his way but both he and Dawn are determined to not let her get between them.
“Love is the only factor that matters in a relationship… Nothing else exist without it. Love makes everything possible.”
I loved this story. It was one of those books that I didn’t want to put down from page one till the end.

AWESOME AS USUAL!!!!👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
What an excellent story!! It was exciting and intriguing from the first page to the last!!! One thing I have noticed about all of Kris Michaels' books is that you never want them to end... They pull you in.... You can't put them down and before you know it you are at the end of the book and the hours have flown by! This story was exciting, swoony, suspenseful and I loved every moment of it.... It was perfection!!!! I loved Dawn's character and that she was there for Blay through thick and thin ..... Which made for a beautiful and heartwarming love story.... There was no dramatic angst... Misunderstandings... Just love, understanding and support which is very refreshing..... I feel that many authors ruin the flow of their stories with over the top angst.... Not Kris, she is a master story teller... The mystery and suspense is there, the sitting on pins and needles to see what is going to happen is there, but the characters' decency, concern and caring for each other's welfare is there too throughout the story... I love getting caught up with the two families again.... Their deep caring, affection, humor and unconditional love towards each other makes this series shine and stand out from many others. I highly recommend this book and the entire series. The stories are excellent, filled with very likeable people and exciting mesmerizing storylines.... you will be highly entertained guaranteed!!!😇

A Real Page Turner
I did not know what to expect with this story but wow I could not put this story down. Blayze King, a fire fighter known for enjoying the ladies, finally finds a woman that captures his attention. Dawn Swanson is looking to settle down but has some reservations about Blayze. There is much chemistry between these two but there is woman who claims she is pregnant and Blayze is the father.
Ellen is quite the stalker and Dawn decides Blayze is worth the risk. This story has much suspense and it also has the love of a large family that supports them both.
This wonderful story has all of the elements that truly come together for a satisfying conclusion. Blayze has excitement, suspense, humor and romance. The pace of this story keeps you reading from start to finish. It is well written and certainly worth the journey to Hope City.

There are so many things you could say you love about this book - the flow of the story between the characters, the right level of suspense in the book so there's a kick to hit, the passion between the lead characters - not too hot but not tame, the humour and banter, the technical details of a person's occupation that draw you in that little bit more. The list could go on because this is such a well crafted story that hooks you from the start. One of the things I love most of all is how characters from past books, both Kris's and Maryann's, slide smoothly into the story without taking it away from the current characters. There is such a balance and flow that enables each book to flow smoothly from one to the next with just the right emphasis on the characters of the moment to give them their spotlight. It also has you wanting more books because the supporting characters are so well crafted you want to know their stories.

Family baggage
A very good story. When two people get together it us usually the family and baggage they bring to the relationship the tears it apart. Blay and Dawn have more baggage then most, but also great family support.
As usual great indepth knowledge of first responder procedures. I would have like to see what actually did change Blay's thought patterns as most of this was covered outside this book. By this book there relationship is already on a solid foundation ready to take the challenges that are coming. There are bit in the other books of the series of when this relationship actually started.
Another good book in the Hope City series. Good continuation of the series now mist of the HC Kings and McBrides are settled down we are getting towards the end of this series, I would be interested to see is any future links are formed to Guardian.

Blayze "Blay" King is starting a new relationship with a black cloud over his head. It seems he could be a father in about 5 months. The baby mama is full of drama and will cause trouble for him and for Dawn Swanson. Trouble they both could do without but if Blay is the dad, then he will put up with her theatrics in order to take care of his baby. Of course, they will also have to deal with "Hover Mother" but Dawn is up to the challenge.
This was a book that I had to read straight through. Ms. Michaels pulled me in with this story. Sometimes you find personal connections in the stories you read and I found one in this story. My aunt and uncle had two Irish Wolfhounds as does Blay. I am sad to see the end of the King stories as I have enjoyed each and every one.

Blayze and Dawn
Blayze was known as a player but he knew Dawn was different. He ask her out several times (more than 400 according to Blayze) Finally she said yes. Dawn was his sister-in-law's sister . Which would cause all sorts of family problems. But he was sure he wanted to see more of her. About this time he hears from a book up he had been with 2 times. He was sure it couldn't be his kid but wanted a paternity test done. Ellen refused then started emailing and texting him. After Ellen visited his Mother Blaze took out a restraining order out on her. The calls and emails stopped but little did Blayze know that Ellen hadn't given up.
A great story again proving true love will find a way.

Love Blay & Dawn
Every time I think I can’t love a Kris Michaels book more, she releases a book that blows me away. Blayze “Blay” King has been asking Dawn Swanson to go out with him, but she was hesitant due to his reputation, and finally she says yes. They have been kinda low key about it, things are looking good, and his past rears it’s ugly head. But Dawn is a strong, independent woman who can hold her own, even with “Hover Mother” when she finds out they are dating. I love the relationship between them and between the King and McBride families. One of my favorites of the Hope City series.

Blayze is book ten in the Hope City series and is the book I’ve been eagerly awaiting😁 After months of begging her to go on a date with him, Dawn finally says yes - but keep it a secret from the family to get to know each other properly🤩
However, Blay’s past has come to haunt him in the form of a woman claiming she’s carrying his child. Initially, I stopped reading at that point because I was worried how Blay would deal with this information and if he’d tell Dawn - but my worries were for naught and he proved the Kings had raised him well❣️
Loved this story and the ending was just perfect👍

one of my favorites
Blay has been a quieter sibling in this series but still present and Dawn was an unsung hero with all the help and love for her sister Amber and nephew Gage. Now we see they have started a relationship, but it is certainly full of some drama and problems! This story has more of a mystery intrigue vibe and I loved it. The stalker/unhappy ex employee thread and potential baby mama added some great scenes of concern and disturbance. Seeing Commission King in a more active role and the female King/McBride women take a leading role in the case was wonderful. Good amount of action and there is some violence. Great read and addition to the series!

Such a great read! Blay has been a manwh0r€ but finally found what he wants. Dawn is a wonderful selfless woman who helped her sister raise her son for ten years and is giving Blay a chance. He only had to ask four hundred and fifty seven times for a date. But after four months of getting to know each other a past dalliance comes back to haunt Blay. She will be called PBM, psycho baby mama, and she is cray cray. She’s determined to get Blay any way she can and no one is safe. This is a fast paced, funny, scary and steamy read and you won’t be able to put it down.

I love the Kings!
I love Blayze and Dawn for each other! I really like that they have managed to keep most of the King and McBride family in the dark for the first few months of them dating, which has given them time to get to know each other and form a bond before the family meddling and hover mom begins! Although as threats escalate and both Blayze and Dawn are targeted they need every bit of support and protection the big, crazy King/McBride family can offer. We get a wedding too in this visit to Hope City - bonus!

She claims to be pregnant with his baby. He demands a paternity test. She refuses and begins a campaign of harassment. When her abuse moves on to Dawn, the entire family is alarmed. When the issues reach a climactic confrontation, the woman is finally subdued, but it takes a toll.

I am going to hate to see this series end. I just love the McBrides and Kings. They are two special families who are pillars of the community. Blayze was a good guy but had a reputation as a womanizer. Dawn had put her life on hold to help her sister Amber raise her son Gage. Amber fell in love with one of the King boys. Through Amber, Blay met Dawn. It took 450 times for Blay to get Dawn to say yes to a date. A deranged 2 night stand almost ends their relationship.
I am looking forward to read Caitlyn’s story.

WOW! Another FANTASTIC story by Kris! This one is about Blay! I love the female character as she has a great name 😁! It was intense when you have a psycho woman going after Blay's loved ones. The woman actually targeted Dawn and nearly killed her. Once the woman was finally in custody, Dawn and Blah were able to work on their happily ever after! FANTASTIC job Kris! I would highly recommend this book!

Another great book I this series.
Blah and Dawn are perfect for each other. She made him work for the first date. He is hiding something from everyone but he decides to finally tell Dawn what is going on. He is surprised that she doesn't just walk away. When things start getting really bad with his stalker he finally talks to his family and lets them know what is going on. How far will his stalker go to get what she wants?

Firefighter Blayze King’s life is going the way he wants since he can finally claim Dawn Swanson as his girlfriend. But an ex’s psychosis is showing, she’s been to his place and seen his toys, he should want to support her in the manner she’d like to become accustomed to. As the ex goes to extremes to not only get Blayze back in her life but to get Dawn out of his the families rally!

What an absolutely phenomenal book. I was gripped from start to finish. I started this book and didn’t stop until I finished it. The twists and turns were great. Did I know where Ellen was….yes! But the suspense was incredible as I didn’t know when she’d strike. What an exciting book. I love Hope City and I’m so looking forward to my next visit.

Fabulous
Another wonderful story set in Hope City. Blay and Dawn have actually been dating for a few months before their families find out only to have Blay’s past come back to bite him . They have to deal with a crazy ex before they can move forward.
I have loved both Kris’ and Maryann’s contributions to Hope City and hope there will be more in the future .

Blayze certainly hit all the high notes for me: a charismatic firefighter, a- stand-by-her-man woman, danger in the form of escalating threats and vandalism, intrigue in the form of multiple suspects and a marvelous romance ending in a happy ever after. It just worked on every level. But, I am not surprised, Kris Michaels wrote it!

Wonderful book!
This book and the entire series is a work of art. Kris Michael’s and Maryann Jordan created a magical world filled with McBrides and Kings that I thoroughly enjoyed. There is just one more book left in the series and as much as I can’t wait to read it, I will be sad when I’m finished. Wonderful series!

Dangerous stalker

Get story Love Hope City
Love the story between Blay and Dawn. The suspense was over the top in Kris Michaels style. Never a disappointment in her books. Sorry to see this series end . Hopefully they will come back to it.

This is my first book in this series.i think it can be read as standalone though characters from other books make appearances.

Another great addition to this series! Blay and Dawn were fun characters to follow along with into their HEA. I loved how well Dawn handled “Hover mother” Hannah King. This book was a great way to spend a day.
