Halley and Rawling

Cute, sweet story. Halley is escaping being sold into marriage by her guardian. She flees to Kansas to marry Rawling. Unfortunately, he was goaded by his brother, Ned, to apply for a bride. He is not ready to marry yet. And Halley ends up with a few different “options”.

Rawling was a bit of a dolt. He couldn’t see that his perfect bride was right in front of him. Until he realizes he about to lose Halley…

I hope Ned gets his story! I liked his character.

I wish the ending wasn’t so quick 😞

Rawley and Halley

This is a sweet, short mail order bride tale. Halley is an orphan living with her godfather and he is trying to sell her off to the highest bidder. She is determined to escape his clutches and writes to a mail order bride manager. She gets a reply from Rawley a young rancher. He was gilded by a gold digger and is now unsure about marriage. Halley is hurrahed by a scoundrel and even kidnapped by him. You will enjoy discovering how they find their happily ever after.

Rawley

I really enjoy this short novels. They're the perfect length for a quick romantic read with all the elements of a full length novel. Easley gets talked into a mail order bride, but his reluctance just might cause him her hand. Halley, desperately needs to leave Philadelphia and a small Arkansas town is as good as any place to go, but her grooms first statement leaves her chilled.

Great Story......

I've enjoyed reading this story of the gentlemen who wrote for a bride but then, when she arrived he couldn't make up his mind if he wanted to get married. Well told story of romance and indecision.

sweet love story

I do wish this was a longer book. But it was very sweet and not a lot of fluff to fill the pages. Maybe there could be a second and 3rd book. I’d read them.
