The book explores the cognitive damages inflicted upon us by ourselves in our earnestness to become educated. Even though we are biologically equipped to create knowledge of the real world autonomously we have traded that ability with analyzing second-hand knowledge- mere description of the real world, to catch up fast, to stand on the shoulders of the giants who went before us! But little did we realize that unless knowledge is experienced, how much ever true that so-called knowledge is it remains as superstition as far as we are concerned. We also did not realize that by taking away our original capacity for creativity- that is to create knowledge we have turned ourselves into cognitive laborers, to be used wherever our skills and abilities are required. Artificial intelligence would replace all this as now the machines could learn and do all that we could do. Through education, even the most fundamental knowledge of life-birthing and child-rearing- has been forgotten so much so that pregnancy is treated as a disease and parenting has become a stressful activity. But the worst victims of this blunder are children… Even us as children. How easily we turn them from lively, spontaneous, creative, happy beings into just clones, automatons to become just another consumer.
