More Cool Houses...More Family Secrets...More Twists and Turns!
Read three more exciting estate sale mysteries filled with antiques, collectibles, love and murder! Join Audrey Nealon and the crew--her loyal assistant Ty; her new helper, Jersey girl Donna; and Ethel the rescue dog--as they solve three more diabolically twisty mysteries. This boxed set contains three mysteries:
Treasure Borrowed and Blue Wedding bells are finally ringing for Audrey and Sean, but will their happiness be derailed by family drama and a malicious theft?
Treasure in Exile When Audrey enters the Tate Mansion after a 100-year-old heiress’s death, she discovers nothing’s been changed since the day the house was built. Why did the widow and her maid eat canned soup and read used paperbacks surrounded by magnificent art and antiques? Why were the house and its contents bequeathed to a small local charity? Can Audrey outwit a wily con man, or is she too smart to live?
Treasure Built of Sand While Audrey is busy selling the contents of a luxurious beach house, the body of a teenage boy washes up on the sand. The house's owner and her wealthy neighbors know something but close ranks to protect their own. Audrey’s curiosity and compassion pull her into danger. Will her wit and determination be enough to restore justice?
S.W. Hubbard writes the kinds of books she loves to read: twisty, believable, full of complex characters, and highlighted with sly humor. She is the author of the Palmyrton Estate Sale Mystery Series and the Frank Bennett Adirondack Mountain Mystery Series, as well as the Life in Palmyrton Women's Friendship Fiction Series. Her short stories have appeared in Alfred Hitchcock’s Mystery Magazine and the anthologiesDead Drift, Crimes by Moonlight, The Mystery Box, andAdirondack Mysteries. When not writing, she hikes with her rescue dog, Libby, and her husband. She lives in Morristown, NJ.
If the Walls Could Talk ….. In this second boxed set in the Palmyrton Estate Mysteries Series, Audrey and her team continue to uncover family dramas and mysteries as they prepare for estate sales in three different settings. As is their habit, they’re not just conducting estate sales, but are drawn into the stories and unexplained circumstances behind the sales. This inevitably leads to some excitement and often results in their putting themselves in harm’s way. There are lots of interesting details of antiques and collectibles as well as a host of quirky characters associated with the properties. There’s also considerable drama and a number of secrets in the personal lives of Audrey and her team. I’m looking forward to Book #7!
I have been enjoying this series of TREASURE SALE mysteries…the first six so far. Easy to read, likable characters, great dialogue, real problems. The characters are threaded throughout the series so it is easy to identify the personalities, concerns, thought processes and quirks of them. I recommend this series fully for those of us who enjoy some mystery in a solid plot line.
Smart, funny, a little quirky, Audrey is my new favorite character. With her street-smart employee, Ty, she sells off the contents of houses and gets more involved with her clients than she plans for. The ensuing mysteries into which she is thrown are well-written and easy to read.
Not much more than that to say unless I start talking about the story. My reviews of book 1 and the first box set were much more verbose. I already read book 7 so you must know I enjoy the series since I bought and read all 7 books!
After reading several of the Another Man's Treasure ebooks, I enjoy the characters and Their each personality. I enjoy seeing how each mystery unravels. There is always a bad guy and we find out who the person is why are they causing trouble. This cozy mystery makes for fun reading.
