Nah kali ini Kitty berhadapan dgn kucing baru yg sotoy dan sok jd pahlawan bernama Hazel. Hazel dikenalkan oleh Pixie dan ternyata Hazel tidak mau akur dgn Kitty dan Pixie lebih memilih Hazel drpd Kitty. Dlm dunia nyata kejadian spt ini sering terjadi kan, teman lama lebih memilih teman baru.
Saat ada sebuah sarang burung penuh anak² burung terancam bahaya, Kitty-lah yg akhirnya turun tangan membereskan masalah ini. Namun Hazel tidak menyadari keterbatasannya dan masih aja sombong. Hingga kejadian kedua kalinya yg nyaris merenggut keselamatan jiwa Hazel dan Pixie. Kitty tanpa pikir panjang langsung menolong mrk lagi.
Pelajaran moralnya, jadi orang maupun jadi kucing janganlah sombong. Sadarilah keterbatasan kita dan terimalah uluran bantuan pihak lain.
Ilustrasinya cute banget. Cocok buat bacaan ringan Halloween 🎃 dgn nuansa dominan oranye dan hitam.

Another amazing chaotic adventure of Kitty this time with added trouble, best intentions going wrong and fairground rides! Cats always think they know best and really do hate being told otherwise.

A fair, a cat superhero?, worries, but also tons of fun and bravery!
I was so happy that my library had the English edition of this book! Sometimes they have only the Dutch edition for a book, sometimes both, and sometimes just the English one. It is always a surprise to me which language I will read Kitty’s adventures in.
In this book a fair comes to town (and I loved it so much, I mean a rollercoaster at a fair??) and Kitty has some worries as an old friend meets a new cat and is way too influenced by that one. I really enjoyed the story and I loved how Kitty showed some great bravery. And at times I just wanted to hug her because that new cat? Hazel? She is just so mean and rude. I am glad that Kitty had her cat friends and could also chat with her mom about things. I loved reading about Figaro and Pumpkin, it is always great to see them (and the other cats).
I have two questions. When Pixie and Hazel are doing their “helping out” they were walking over a rollercoaster. Now that is not bad, but that thing is in USE. How in the heavens did they manage to walk over it? That is just not possible with cars going over the tracks all the times.
And two. If Pixie and Hazel were in a cart in the big wheel how were they on the beams when Kitty comes to save them? Did they move out of it? Why? They were save in a seat/cart.
I know that this is a fantasy, but please don’t give your cats milk or chocolate cookies. It is bad for them.
And the ending was your typical everything is fine children’s book ending. Don’t get me wrong, I did like it, but it was all so sweet and sugary again. I am happy that Hazel understood and I hope that she stop trying to be a superhero like she did throughout the book.
All in all, this was a fun book and with the orange and sparkles it was just perfect for this new season (writing this September 21st). I would have loved to visit the fair!

Pesan baik yang diselipkan ke dalam cerita menambah nilai plus buku ini. Bagi kalian, para pencinta kucing--berapa pun usiamu, kalian pasti akan jatuh hati dengan buku ini.

Kitty and the Twilight Trouble is the perfect book to share as a read-aloud with your child or grandchildren!
There are many opportunities to have open and frank discussion on friendships and this is the first book that I have read by: Paula Harrison and, I now that I have to go purchase books 1-5 to learn the rest of the story.
This series of books are on read-aloud list for my granddaughter. Just 1 chapter a day and by the end of the week the book is complete. (This story only had only 6 chapters and couple of interesting, kitty facts pages!
Loved the story line and I am excited to read the other books!

Pixie memiliki teman baru bernama Hazel yang mengaku memiliki kekuatan super. Sayangnya, Hazel nakal dan membawa pengaruh buruk bagi Pixie. Pixie sudah tidak pernah lagi bermain bersama Kitty bahkan mengatakan Kitty adalah manusia konyol karena mengenakan kostum seperti kucing. Hingga pada saat malam pekan raya, di saat semua orang sudah pulang, Pixie dan Hazel terlibat masalah. Mereka terjebak di atas bianglala. Untungnya Figaro melihat hal ini dan langsung melaporkannya pada Kitty. Sampai akhirnya mereka semua bisa berteman kembali.

Si burung kecil yang tidak mengerti tentang arti petualangan malah pergi membahayakan dirinya sendiri. Andai saja Kitty menjelaskan lebih lanjut, tentu ini tidak akan terjadi, namun Kitty terlalu kesal dengan Hazel yang menyebutnya manusia konyol.
Kitty juga bisa dijadikan contoh yang baik kalau tidak baik memberikan judgement kepada orang yang baru saja kita kenal atau orang yang kita tidak kenal sama sekali.

My first grader chose this for our first book club together. It was a well written story with some great lessons. Book club discussions will include the value of kindness, importance of friendship, teamwork, and mentorship. The illustrations are wonderful too! I wish I had read the first book in the series, but thankfully it’s pretty easy to catch up.

Qué gran lección la de hoy! No olvidar la amabilidad, así se tengan todos los poderes del mundo, no tratar de pasar por encima de los demás y en general, aleccionar a los niños para que no sigan ciegamente a los mandones.
No estoy segura si la serie ha sido continuada en español, pero sería una pena que la dejaran abandonada.

This book was actually good.I loved meeting the new car Hazel and it was nice to learn more about not being mean to people and actually being kind to everyone ven if you want to become a superhero!🦸♀️

This one wasn’t our favorite but it was still good! My girls did not like the little kitty that was making Kitty feel sad! In the end everything worked out like they always do with Ami was so we enjoyed the story! We can’t wait for the next adventure!
